Twisted Eventide - A Snow Covered Moon
I am Jaevia Knightley, Jae for short, a daemon, a mutt, a mix breed, half succubus, half vampire. I once was part of a great organization, the Kindred, our only charge, to police the other supernaturals of the worlds. The Kindred and I came to a crossroads so to speak and I decided to not be one anymore, only problem? Well you really can’t stop being Kindred, it’s a lifetime thing.
I’ve escaped to the human world and now hide as a proud citizen of Baltimore, Maryland, always with fear that the Kindred will send Reapers after me. So when they send their very best bringer of death you can imagine my surprise when instead of ending up rotting in the dirt I end up becoming a Grigori, a watcher, charged with being the eyes, ears and hands for the Kindred. I don’t know why I've been given this chance only that messing this up will drag myself and everyone I've ever cared for down with me.
My first case, missing werewolf carriers, the Batardi the bastard children of supernaturals they carry the DNA sequence of their supernatural parent but aren't supernaturals themselves. So many have gone missing, even the Kindred want to know why. Failing to solve this case is not an option not for the missing wolf carriers or for me.

But her true passion and love has always been for the written word. She’s currently working on the next book in the Echoes of Time series.

This is the best book I've read in months! The author's creation of these awesome characters is amazing! This book kept me wanting more after each chapter and wanting to visually see the story unfold...I can't wait to read the next installment from this fresh new exciting author!

I've read A Snow Covered Moon three times now and each time I do it just gets better and better. The dynamic and growth throughout for each character from when we meet them til the end is inspiring. Everyone compliments each other so well and I couldn't put the book down even though I knew what would happen. This is def a reread for me for years to come. Adams paints a brilliant picture and has a magical way with words. The dark things are so tempting and inviting and they make you want to sit up and take notice. After reading all the books in this series and then rereading this one it makes me appreciate the character growth that much more...I find something new every time I read it. A must read for dark fantasy lovers...you won't be disappointed.

It was something different in the paranormal world. It was a freshness that the genre had been waiting for. Within moments we had been thrown into a s*** storm of action as Jae battled it out over the life of a dear friend...we found a girl despair to be good in a world that told her she was born to be bad...the monster that stalked the night without regard for those around her...she was to have one job. She was meant to be broken...but you'll watch her shine and grow in leaps and bounds...I can't express my love for the Twisted Eventide world that LM Adams has created any louder. I'm so proud and excited that more people are discovering what an amazing writer she is and the awesome world of mayhem she's created. I am a fan for life and I hope you will be too

So I finally finished A Snow Covered Moon. Even though it was a paranormal orgy so many creatures some new some I already knew I loved almost every minute of the book. The first 3 percent (not sure page wise because I read it on my kindle) did not jump out and demand I keep reading them. But once I got past the start of the book I was completely hooked. And to think that there is at least one other book following this one was icing on the cake. About to do some research to see what's next. A Snow Covered Moon might be the best book I read this year!

Has a lot of potential
This book could be really good with editing. The plot and characters are great. However, I found myself correcting so many grammatical and literary errors that I couldn't fully immerse myself in the storyline. Many sentences had to be reread to figure the author's intended meaning disrupting the flow of the story. That being said, with editing this author has the potential to become a best seller.

The reason I picked this up is it had a few raving accolades on my web site www.facebook.com/ParanormalBookFest where I put up a lot of Free and 99c paranormal books. So, here are the comments www.facebook.com/ParanormalBookFest/p...
This has serious sex, so never try it on your public commute unless you're brave and like stirring the surrounding travellers up a bit, which, proving it's safe, could be fun. There's a bit of S&M in this, but I wouldn't call it overt, the novel certainly doesn't launch into leather and sex toys.
The plot becomes pretty solid, although I did find it took me about 20% of the way in before it launched into the grit of the story itself.

3 stars doesn't really reflect how much I enjoyed this story, because the story was a 4-5 star read. Unfortunately, this book is badly let down by a complete absence of editing. It's not one or two typos; the text is littered with errors from start to finish. It's not a question of ignoring the occasional missed comma. Time and time again, I found myself having to go back and re-read things that made no sense on first reading. There are sections of several sentences that are all strung together with no punctuation at all. I'm not a grammar expert by any means, but the mistakes were glaring enough for them to pull me out of the story constantly. This book reads like the author wrote it all down, ran it through a spell checker and put it straight on Amazon.
And that is a real shame because this is a gem of a story. Please, Ms Adams, at the very least get a beta reader who understands the basics of grammar. All this story needs is a little polish to truly shine.

WOW! This is an amazing story. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who is squeamish about sexual or violent content but, I love d it. I did have to take a break after several hours of reading though because it is emotional draining for people like me who get really into the stories they read. Jaevia is an amazing, complex, sassy character. She is also confusing because she is secure and insecure at the same. All the characters is this story are amazing. I was originally voting for Jack in the beginning but as the story progressed I started routing for Lucien. Towards the end I wanted her with both because they both fit her just in different ways. They each gave her different qualities that she needed at different times. I can't wait to dive into the next story.

3.5 stars...a good beginning. I purchased the next book so I def did like it but there was quite a lot of info dumping (but it's the first book in a series and there is a lot to learn about this world. I just wished it was conveyed better.)
I can't really say i liked the heroine - she was too up and down for me ("i'm going to kill everyone", then "oh no I don't want to kill everyone", "i would rather kill myself than hurt someone's feelings" and the next moment "I'm being a bitch and I know this will hurt them" type of thing), although I did soften towards her at the end.
This book reminded me of the later Anita Blake series (I didn't really like those (if only Laurell K Hamilton stuck to her earlier books format and not focused so much on the harem), but I prefer Ms Adams book more.) Maybe it's a disservice to say it reminded me of Anita Blake series, because apart from the fact we have a kick ass, strong, heroine and there is a vampire mate, with werewolves etc thrown in, Lark Adams' world is different and unique and well worth reading.

Wow this book is like being thrown into a world where everything supernatural is real :) Twisted is the perfect description for this book cause it touches on everything and doesn't disappoint! Jack omg my new book boyfriend tee hee.

I received this book for a fair and honest review. This is the story of Jae hiding in the human world from her supernatural past. But you can't run from your past forever and she will need all her friends to see her through the trials ahead. With a vampire, a werewolf, a demigod and a magi she will face the most evil part of her past and forge a new future. This is an outstanding story of love,lust, magic and friendship a true must read!

WOW!!!
I've been an avid reader of books since my childhood. Public libraries and bookmobiles, among other things😁, were integral to my maturation process. I write this not to humble brag, but just to offer some insight into my musings and observations.
I'm not one for hyperbole, especially concerning books. Different strokes and all that, however, sometimes when you come across someone or something really special, I believe it should not be hidden, or hoarded, but shared with everyone. Shout it to the rooftops if need be. Thus the beauty, that sometimes offsets the ugliness, of social media.
This book may have been, no, is definitely one of the best I've ever read. This woman author's work equals, maybe even exceeds, the works of the established best out there, IMHO. Clancy, Mosley, Tolkien, King, Martin, Le Carre, Cornwell, Patterson, etc, etc. I could go on and on, but I won't. I'll just implore you to read her nine book series. I've just finished the first book, and I fully intend to complete the entire series. With small breaks in between, so that I can enjoy other authors as I decompress.😁 These books are long AF!!!😂😂

Heavy in an awesome way.
When I first started reading this book I was expecting a regular paranormal romance. I got so much more. This book is very hot and wonderfully kinky. It may not be for everyone but I loved it.

I really enjoy this story. It is different when it comes to characters. I love how the main character is a mixed breed and she isn’t afraid to do what she has to in order to lead the others.
Here is why I gave it a 3.5 instead of a 4; when the author explained in the beginning what is a kindred and how they rule etc in the beginning I was so confused and I had to read it more than once. There are a lot of grammatical errors and even though I can surpass it most of the time, there were a lot. It seems that the author writes as she speaks. I get it because I do it too. If she gets a really good editor this book can easily become a 5 star read.
This still doesn’t deter me from reading the next one in the series (even when I got mad on how she played jack). I suggest you give it try and have an open mind.

So I’m only about 30% through the book and I’m getting major Anita Blake vibes? Am I right?
If so, is it early Anita or recent? I used to love this books but they have recently become very painful to read. Like the author is paid per page and her only goal is stretching it out. I don’t have a problem with world building or sex scenes,in fact I quite like those, but I don’t like having sex scenes take up the majority of the book and having inner monologues describes some magical even that last forever. I need a good story line to keep things moving along. I’m ready to commit to this series but would love to hear if I’m better of switching to something else. Side note... I’ve been on a book slump for like the past 6 months so I’m a little on the pessimistic side. I just want to read a great book!!!!

This is an AMAZING book. I’ve read a lot of books and have never been able to choose a favorite but now I can say with certainty this aeries is my favorite series and the first book being my absolute favorite from not just the series but any book I’ve read. It’s a turmoil of emotions somehow knowing just the right spots to hit. I will admit her grammar is atrocious and she has many mistakes but even that’s unable to keep me from reading. I’ve never highlighted as much in any book as I have in these books and I highlighted the most in the first book ranging in different colors for different emotions it made me feel. I felt so moved I even bought the first book on kindle and am hoping to save enough to buy the entire series in paperback

March 12, 2020Freaking fantastic start to a new author for me! Snow covered moon hit the spot. If you are a fans of Amelia Hutchins, Joey W Hill then you are in for a treat! Snow covered moon is an epic, wild, sexy and dark ride! I loved all the different breeds, such as vampires, wolf's, shifters. Let's not forget our freaking hybrids ( which I love this idea and alot of authors dont write hybrids) a succubus/vampire, a sun/human demigod and a powerful magic elf/wolf. Also let me say there is a vampire, jack ( cant give anything away) but you will love him!!!! Follow this band of baddies on thier epic journey to save the ones they call family!

It's a long read, but after a slow-ish start, the pace and interest picked up and I found myself hooked.
I loved the flawed characters and the twisted, complex nature of their relationships, past and present.
The spice wasn't my thing, a heavy emphasis on pain and torture fits, but didn't add any enjoyment for me.
I wish we'd had a few more hints about what Eventide might actually be...

Good weaved story with a little too much sex
I like this story it was long but it keep my interest . What I didn't like is every time Lucien slept with Jae my cervix felt the pain maybe next book he could not rip her apart . There are some books that have pages and pages of sex and I get bored and skip the sex pages . I probably could of done with a couple less sex scenes. The sex scenes are all BDSM

Enjoyed Immensely
Great opening novel. The world building and character development was detailed. I liken it to the Vampire Huntress series in that you become immersed in the story, tied to the characters. While not as masterful and grounded in mythology as L.A. Banks’ series, if it holds out, this will be an excellent series; one I may return to over and over again.
Please note: the sex is NOT for the faint at heart or closed-minded; all BDSM.

I wish I could give better than 5 stars. This author grabbed a hold of me and I hard so much trouble putting this book down. If you love all things paranormal, add some kick-ass fighters, and some really steamy sex, then read this. As soon as I finished this book, (last night @ 5 am), I started book # 2. I really recommend this read. 5 thumbs up.

I wasn't prepared
This was a wonderful story. A bit longer and drawn out than I typically like and be warned like 33% of it is just sex but the protagonist is a succubus so if you read this not expecting a lot of sex you're on a learning curve. What caught me off guard was the bondage element. It was a fascinating twist to say the least. I'm excited to read the next one.

Twisted and dark but so very good!
I could not put the book down! The story is amazing and intense. The characters are phenomenal! There is no way to not fall in love with them, even if it's a love-hate relationship. The story is so addicting you can't help but want more. This is definitely on my top favorite books. So much more to learn and know. I can't wait to start reading the next one!
