Best-selling author Samona de la Cruz has found herself on the wrong side of love. Even though she knows that loving Elliot Louis-Jacques is wrong, she has no desire to be right. There’s just one Elliot is in a long-term relationship with Demitri Alexander.
As an openly bisexual man, Elliot has no problem with having his cake and eating it too. When he tells Mona and Demitri that he wants both of them at the same time, all hell breaks loose.
And then, just when you think you have it all figured out, Elliot’s ex steps into the picture and throws a monkey wrench that Mona never saw coming.
Sparks fly, attitudes clash, secrets are revealed, and sensuality knows no bounds in Nikki-Michelle’s new novel, Bi-Sensual.
This author took me on a wild ride and i exspireinced a plethora of emotions. Demis charactor had the clrarest voice for me. After discovering who he was i was able to understand his pain. Love really is a powerful drug. I could identify with monas unlucky in love situation. At first i viewed Elliott as manipulative but when the issue of his son came about I was able to see pain. All in all a good read well thought out story charactors. This book will have you in your feelings its that realistic. Five stars aint enough.
This was the most extensive mfm story that I've ran across so far. Normally, I end up with novellas where a couple falls in insta-lust and one of them convinces their significant other to fall for the new lover who would "make a good fit"...then the book ends. At first, I was annoyed by Samona as she fell in love with a man who she knew was in love with someone else in an open relationship and was aching for his reciprocation. All of the characters come off as lustful and selfish at first, then the book settles into a fulfilling story. This book gave me hate crimes, child custody battles and all kinds of drama in between. The narrator of this audiobook, Misty Reign, honestly did a great job without changing her tone much for the characters. I rank this 3.5 stars overall.
Even though the performance by the narrator wasn't the best, it did not take away from how captivating this story was. I was not prepared for how every one of my emotions, sensibilities and even biases would be tapped while listening to this. Nikki Michelle penned a powerful story of lust, love, greed, hate, betrayal, redemption and more. This storytelling was so thorough that nothing was left undone. I'm so impressed with this author's writing style. She deserves all the accolades! incredible story!.
It was ok, I felt like the writer was very descriptive when trying to set the scene, a little too much if that is even possible. rattling off landmarks like a check list. the book itself started to get very confusing at the end when trying to figure out who was talking and all of the shady intricacies that existed between the characters. The book started out quite slow for the first half of the book, like the author was trying to reach a word count but it get a little better as I got closer to the end. I wouldn't recommend this book though...
The writing of this book is fantastic, relatable and sexy. It has spicy scenes but the DRAMA, my god, the DRAMA. I would go from saying “these characters are fucking wild, I would never deal with this in real life!” And then found myself thinking “well, if I was having sex like this in real life….. maybe I’d put up with it” 😭😂
I’m glad I finished it. Honestly didn’t think I’d enjoy this book at first, because Elliot, one of the main characters, is such a CHEATER. I was frustrated, thinking “why are bisexuals always the cheaters?!” And then I realized… Elliot would probably be a cheater regardless of his sexuality. Some people will be horrible, no matter their sexuality. People cheat, people lie, they hurt other people, and sexuality really has nothing to do with that, it’s character.
Samona is a New York Times bestselling author who is in love with an openly bi-sexual man named Elliott. He caters to her every need and only has one request…that she meet his lover Demitri…in a threesome.
What started out as an awkward situation, eventually became a beautiful love story…which is struck by tragedy.
This 💎💎💎💎💎book is for the open-minded reader in search of a good story. I applaud @nikkimichelle1984 for addressing hate crimes, because we need to know what actually goes on in society. I highly recommend that you check it out for yourself.
In the beginning, I was losing interest quick and debating on even discontinuing reading it, but about 4 or 5 chapters in, I started to care more about what was going on with them all. By then end of it... CHILE! The plot twists were not predictable until it got close to the end. These people really know how to get some revenge, I tell you. I do think there is a part of it that they didn't put closure on though, and I'm speculating that Simona is actually the unacknowledged sibling of a certain someone. Anyway. Good book.
This novel gave what it was supposed to give. Samona, caught up in a love triangle with Elliott and Demi gets more than she bargained for playing the third wheel. Before we dive into this, let’s get this part out of the way first…The sex scenes were electrifying, but the love story behind the couples were enthralling and educational. We loved the fact that the author explored the thoughts, beliefs, and activism behind the LGBTQ community and the difference of opinions both within and outside of the community. At one point, we wished Samona had left the situation earlier then by the end, wished we could find out if the trifecta could have worked. We also appreciated the depiction of bi-sexual men in serious relationships and their roles as fathers. The combination of Elliott’s ex and the wild group at the club showed the reality of how dangerous society’s mindset can be when we don’t appreciate the basic humanity in each other. This was a full circle story that made a lasting impression. Completely Untamalicious!

This was a rather ok book, and this is by no means me trying to bash the author. I found the book enjoyable and it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Anytime something dramatic happened I found myself staring at my imaginary audience asking what the fuck I just read. There was a good amount of sex scenes but there was way too much drama that offset the balance. I liked how the author perfectly captured the experience of bisexual and gay men I felt truly connected to them through their experiences. The only other problem I have with the book is how it ended. I want Samona to stay with Elliot and Dimitri and I threw the book across the room when I found out she didn't.

My first time reading from Nikki Michelle and I have fallen in love. I loved the story line and the relationships between Mona,Elliot, and demetri. Usually I can put myself into a characters shoes, but I couldn’t and I felt like I was being told a story or was on the outside looking in and I loved every minute of it. Great read definitely something new for me I hope others enjoy it as much I do. I recently just purchase bi satisfied and another book of Michelle’s
Wow this book took me through all kinds of emotions. From Elliot, Demi, Samona, and Nicole they all had me clutching my imaginary peals. Don’t even let me get started on the tag teaming sex. Made me wish I was a permanent part of the equation. I hope to see and hear more about these characters. Loved every bit of Bi-Sensual and Bi-Satisfied! You’ve done an amazing job with these books for real!
Amazing book! Amazing, well developed characters! Just wow! I mean, everything was so well written. The journey and stories behind these characters were jaw dropping and realistic. Im excited to read more from her.
This book didn't disappoint. The author gave us more complex characters that turned up the heat when u least expected making this a wild and crazy ride. Good read
I’m sitting here crying. This book brings out so many emotions and sometimes all at once. This was a great story and I can’t wait to read more from Nikki.
I mean I guess. Just toxic. May this kind of love or 'lose your daggone mind' sex never find me. At least, Mona finally salvaged her dignity and saved herself.
4 stars as they nonchalantly discuss abuse in a way that romanticizes it. I’m not with that shit. What I do like is some of the main characters are bisexual and male. This book aims to break down some of the stereotypes regarding bisexuality. I like that.
Where do I begin? After reading Bi-Satisfied (you should go peep that one out too) I knew Nikki-Michelle would bring it in this book! I anxiously waited for the release and snatched my copy the day it came out.
It was well worth the wait. If I hadn’t needed to go to bed, I would’ve finished it that night. Therefore, it took me two days to read it. I’m struggling writing my review because I don’t want to give anything away. I love a book which makes me think and question things. One in which I connect on some level with the characters and of course holds my attention. Which this book does – right from the start.
Once again Nikki-Michelle brings her characters to life as their story unfolds. There’s definitely some shade (“rest stop ) and one-liners (“sell sand to a desert”, “D so good it gives you the Holy Ghost”) that will make you say, “Damn!” and have a good laugh. Ohhhh the secrets that are between Elliot and Demi…you have no clue. Hell, Samona had no clue. When you think you know…you really don’t!
Nikki-Michelle does an excellent job of dropping you clues and bringing it all together. Pay attention. However, you’re still going to be unprepared for how this story unfolds. Each chapter does draws you in deeper. You crave for more and you can’t help but keep reading! There’s drama no doubt and then there’s the blow your mind sexual elements as well.
You’re going to love and hate all these characters…even the ones briefly mentioned. You’re going to get involved with these characters and their story. My emotions were everywhere. This story is way more than the triangle of Samona, Elliott, and Demitri. Bi-Sensual explores the depths of love. When you have it and when you lose it. It’s deeper than you expect.
If you’re searching for and in my case in need of, a magnificent book to take you away for a few hours, then look no further than Bi-Sensual.
What a wonderful ride? I'm very proud of Ms. Nikki-Michelle for touching on a lot of topics in such a salacious and wonderfully intense book. This story teaches you about the deep levels love has to it. This isn't for the faint of heart type of love, this is that grown, rooted love, that can get unhealthy in an attachment type of way because sometimes....that's life. Elliot was a mess, but it was Demi that took Elliot's mess and make it out of this world (Mr. Petty Love). In this story, I actually enjoyed Mona. She reminded me of someone and it made me grin when then twists and turns happened and truths spilled out like a water balloon hitting pavement.
Though the end was not your traditional HEA, it was still great, and very adult. What do you do in a situation like that, but do what Mona did and I applaud her, even though...
I won't ruin it. So, with that, please support this book. There's a great couple of cameos, and topics in here that everyone needs to check out and as usual, well-written in highlighting the issues going on in the LGBTx community. Read on, and enjoy. This is not one read that you will put down.
"You ain't had love until you've had consummate love." - Demi
Wow!!!! I started this book and couldn't put it down! Wow, I have not only been educated but this book will stay with me for days, weeks to come. I love that this story feels real, the truth about homophobia and how it impacts lives is amazing. I also love my name sake! oh and I also loved that Elliott was alpha, this book is a must read. My second book by Nikki and my favorite.
I absolutely loved this book. There was drama and secrets. The story was nicely written and flowed well. Nikki-Michelle did a great job with this one. I would definitely recommend reading it. There are some steamy parts in this one.
WOW....great book, great plot. now i did get a little confused towards the end cause there is a major twist to the story BUT i'll definitely be checking out more of Nikki-Michelle's novels!!
