Bir miktar hayal kırıklığı oldu açıkçası. Büyük bir hevesle almıştım ama karşılaştığım şey beni üzdü.
Kitabı sadece ve sadece 10 dakikada okudum çünkü içinde gerçekten pek bir yazı yok. Bir iki fotoğraf yerleştirilmiş onlarda belirli bir sıralamada değil karışık. Ben Harry Potter'a delice düşkün olduğumdan ve bir koleksiyon yapmak istediğimden almıştım kitabı. Ama diğer sinema rehberlerini alır mıyım emin olamıyorum.
Üstelik kitapta spoiler içeren yazılar da var. Yani seriyi okumayanlar okumasın bence ama seriyi okuyanlarda her şeyi derinlemesine bildiği için bu kitap yetersiz gelecek ve tat alamayacaklar ( bence ). Keşke bize bilmediğimiz bir şeyler sunacak bir kitap olsaydı yani en azından benim beklentim bu yöndeydi.
YKY'nin satış mantığını da hiç çözemedim. Lanetli Çocuk karton kapak basılırken Sinema Rehberi sert kapak basıldı. Bu seri YKY'de harcanıyor resmen.

I like the hardcover material and the color-rich photos inside but the book is very short. Just some 30 pages actually.

príde mi to ako taká glupocinka na vytiahnutie peňazí z ľudí. Má to síce pekné obrázky a istú dávku sentimentálnosti, nič nové som sa však nedozvedela. Akosi som čakala, že to bude niečo o filmovom Harrym, o hercovi, ako sa k tomu dostal, nejaký krátky životopis Pottera alebo čo ja viem čo. Dostala som však len v podstate rýchly prierez celou filmovou sériou. Pripomínalo mi to tie Disney rozprávkové knihy, kde máte gigantický obrázok, k tomu tak tri vety a celé to má tak 15 strán. Neverím, že to stojí toľko, koľko to stojí.

I bought these the other day, the four books that Scholastic has recently released with a focus on Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and Albus Dumbledore respectively. As a fan, I collect all the 'minor' HP books, and these guides were either $12.95 each, or the four pack for $25.
Although they will still be going on the shelf with the rest of my HP merchandise, these are truly poor books. I starts with an outline of Sorcerer's Stone (or Philosopher's whatevs) but then it jumps all over the place with random photos and stills. It's only 58 pages long, so we get some cracker sentences like 'Some Professors are more interested in being nasty to Harry than teaching him'. I get that these are geared to kids, but WHICH kids? real Potterhead children will resent the childish tone- after all, doesn't HP teach us that from a very young age we can be the hero of our own stories? If not them, then trying to introduce to new children. Unfortunately, the weirdness of the choices in subject matter and the way it jumps around with little order will probably deter them. I just can't work out why these books even exist.
So yeah, probably not the best book to buy for kids if you want to share either the magic of the books or the films, but they do look pretty in their fancy cover (note, I will mark the other books as read but not worry about reviewing them, there is nothing to add) Two stars.

The kids I work with wanted me to read this so we can talk about the book tomorrow morning. This book contains scenes and quotes from the 8 movies. This book is great for young children who are getting into Harry Potter

Unsuprisingly, this was most definitely geared towards the younger fans of Harry Potter. Some of the pictures were very nice, but beyond some closer-up images of props such as the triwizard tournament cup, this book brings nothing new to the table.

Veľa fotiek a málo textu, ktorý je vlastne veľmi stručným zhrnutím 8 filmov. A keď hovorím veľmi stručným, tak VEĽMI stručným. Myslím si, že vám toto v poličke nechýba ani v prípade, že ste ozaj veľký Potterhead.
Ak však poznáte malého Potterheada - a teraz narážam na vek - tak je veľká pravdepodobnosť, že sa z tejto publikácie bude vytešovať a on ju, naopak, veľmi ocení :)

Aquí podemos encontrarnos con una guía resumida sobre el famoso personaje: Harry Potter. Quiénes fueron sus padres, cómo se crió, quiénes fueron sus aliados, su vida en Hogwarts y más. Todo esto con imágenes de las películas de la saga, frases y pies de fotos acordes.
Personalmente, me encantó leerlo. Pensé que iba a ser solo un resumen del 1er film y no, tiene un poquito de todos, hasta algunas criaturas mágicas (como el fénix) que toman ciertos roles importantes en la trama.
Quienes no hayan visto las películas, creo que es una excelente manera de presentarselas y crearles un poco de intriga para adentrarse a este mundo 😊

Read this book second in the set of 4. Review to continue dog being needy lol. It was an okay summarizing of some of the things that had happened to Harry thought out the books. Obviously lots left out. But a nice read all the same and some great pictures as well.

This was pretty boring, it seems like a book for a 5 year old the way it was descriped.

I feel like there is absolutely no order to this book but that's fine. It's Harry freaking Potter and I LOVED it. Reading these books makes me miss reading the books, watching the movies and being immersed in the magical world in general.

As much as I hate to admit this, the book is pretty poorly done. For a fan, it’s out of order and highlights the wrong moments. For a younger audience, it just wouldn’t make sense if they haven’t seen the movies or read the books; it’s still pretty dark for a younger audience.

This was a book that was given to me by a local community member, and I was very excited to read!
My feelings and thoughts about this book is very torn. On the one hand, I love Harry Potter, both the books and movies (books first, of course!), so almost anything Harry Potter related can be enjoyable for me. However, the quality of the book makes me second guess on my review and rating.
What I did enjoy were the photos used throughout the book. It was nice seeing different scenes from all the movies and test to see if I remember those scenes. Also, I really enjoyed the pictures that showed how the main characters grew and changed over the years. All of it just reminded me how much I loved the movies and would absolutely watch them again!
Keeping in mind this guide is meant for the younger crowd, the language was fairly simple to read. This I can set aside, however, the order of events were a bit odd. The book is split into sections/chapters, but nothing is in sequential order, even within the same section/chapter of the book. In turn, some of the information provided is repeated, which is usually unnecessary.
The other aspect that was off-putting is that I found the book less of a cinematic guide and more of a poorly done synopsis of the eight movies. I’m not exactly sure where the “guide” part comes into play. Maybe a synopsis can be thought of a guide, but one would hope that there would be more of an explanation about the movies themselves. For instance, how Quidditch was done, how were they able to make some of the fantastical animals come to life, etc. In addition, there were some essential pieces of information missing. For instance, the horcruxes, learning about Tom Riddle, etc. The horcruxes, especially, is an essential part of the whole story since that’s how Voldemort is ultimately killed. One could argue that this a dark aspect of the movies to talk about, but Harry Potter isn’t exactly a sweet and endearing bedtime story, especially toward the end of the series for youngsters. This book does tie in the seventh and eighth movies, and alludes to the fact that Harry kills Voldement, so it doesn’t seem to make any sense to not include more about the horcruxes and the antagonist. Although, this could be expecting too much from a short children’s guide. Not really sure. All I know is that I wanted something more.
As a side note, when the author mentions how Harry still has time to “have fun” and attend parties, I almost couldn’t believe my eyes. His last-minute date, who he ends up ignoring and doesn’t actually want to be with at the Yule Ball, I wouldn’t consider a fun party that Harry still has time for to attend. It more of he had to go and dance with a partner since he was a champion in the Goblet of Fire and just ended up spending the rest of the time with Ron. It’s a small detail, but one that isn’t accurate or even true.
Overall, this was a quick and enjoyable little book, but it does lack sequential order and some key elements of the movies. Those who are Harry Potter fans may enjoy this little read, but it is better suited for youngsters who have seen the Harry Potter movies or have read the books.

En estas guías cinematográficas, nos hacen un repaso y resumen de 4 personajes de la saga que tienen un gran peso dentro de las películas de Harry Potter.
En esta primer guía nos presentan a Harry, el protagonista de la historia. Un chico que a corta edad se queda sin padres y se convierte en una leyenda sin ser consciente de ello.
"Criado" por sus detestables tíos, se pasa 11 años de su vida junto con ellos hasta que una carta lo invita a estudiar en un prestigioso y renombrado colegio de magia y hechicería.
¿Él? ¿Un mago? Imposible. O eso es lo que cree. Hasta que empieza a darse cuenta que nunca fue como el resto, ya que siempre hubo algo dentro de sí que lo hacía distinto y especial al resto. Y ese algo lo transformaba en un mago. Y no cualquier mago, era nada más ni nada menos que Harry James Potter, el niño que vivió. El niño que burló los planes de Lord Voldemort y como recuerdito le dejó una marca en forma de rayo sobre su frente.
Si bien Harry no es mi personaje favorito de la saga, es uno de los que me cae muy bien. Harry fue un chico que nunca recibió amor (y el poco que recibió de sus padres no lo puede recordar porque era muy chico como para hacerlo), sin embargo él es una persona humilde, dispuesta a ayudar a sus compañeros y arriesgarse por ellos. Él podría tranquilamente haberse agrandado o sentido superior al resto por ser "el niño que vivió", el que sobrevivió a la maldición asesina y derrotó al Señor Oscuro. Podría haber sido un bully y violento, ya que así lo trataban en donde vivía, entonces tranquilamente podría haber aplicado la misma con otros.
Pero no, era todo lo contrario. Y también ayudó el entorno y los amigos que se hizo en Hogwarts. Hasta algunos ya lo adoptaban como a alguien más de la familia, como por ejemplo en el caso de los Weasley. Fue lo más cercano que él tuvo a la sensación digna de un "hogar" y de una "familia" (además de Hogwarts, un lugar que él consideraba como su casa).
Me hubiese gustado muchísimo que se incluyeran algunos de los desequilibrios de su personaje en las películas, más que nada en la Orden del fénix, que es un punto clave en la historia y un momento donde las emociones del personaje disparan hacia diversas direcciones en cuanto a todo lo que empieza a sucederle en esos momentos.
Sin duda Harry es héroe. Y siempre será un personaje al que le voy a tener mucho cariño.

****All of my Harry Potter books are second-hand, I don't support She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named****
This book SUCKED. I know this book is meant for a younger audience, but it still sucks. The first 15 pages are summarizing the first movie (yes, this is all about the movies, not books just to be clear), but then it starts pointing out random facts from every movie in absolutely no order. "Harry has a crush on Cho Chang" "Hagrid owns a spider" ""Harry fought Voldy in the 5th and 8th movie".
As a kid, my Mom bought me this type of book (movie summaries for kids). They all did a wonderful job at it, unlike this one. This starts as a summary and then turns into random disjointed facts. Even for kids, I don't recommend it. I did get the 4 books in this series that I saw at the thriftstore and am not looking forward to the other books

Este librito es un viaje directo al corazón de la saga de películas de Harry Potter, desde la mirada del protagonista. Volver a recorrer su historia a través de imágenes, frases y momentos clave fue como revivir la magia desde el primer hechizo. 🪄
Ver crecer al actor Daniel Radcliffe, claro, (¡cómo olvidarlo! lo vi en muchas mas series y siempre será Harry Potter) desde ese niño que descubría el Callejón Diagon hasta el joven valiente que enfrentó a Lord Voldemort, fue muy emotivo. Esta guía no solo repasa los hechos más importantes, sino que también muestra cómo Harry intentó tener una vida normal... aunque sabemos que ser “el niño que vivió” nunca fue sinónimo de normalidad.
Entre amigos, enemigos, misterios y batallas, Harry vivió muchísimo más que un estudiante común en Hogwarts. Y esta guía lo resume de forma hermosa, con ese toque nostálgico que tanto me gusta.

Ver crecer a Harry Potter es una experiencia emocionante que me encanta revivir. Después de disfrutar de todas las películas de la saga, este libro con imágenes de momentos clave de la historia es un auténtico regalo para los fanáticos.
Me gusta cómo el libro recopila imágenes desde los comienzos de Harry, incluyendo momentos con sus padres, maestros y la Orden del Fénix. Aunque sería imposible abarcar todos los momentos importantes de Harry en las películas, este libro ofrece destellos emocionantes de su trayectoria.
En mi opinión, este libro es muy recomendable para todos los fanáticos de las películas de Harry Potter. Es una forma deliciosa de recordar y revivir los momentos más emblemáticos de la saga. ¡Un libro que seguro hará sonreír a todos los seguidores de Harry Potter!

Kitabı yarım saate içinde falan bitirdim, güncelleme yapmayı unuttuğum için böyle bir gecikme oldu öncelikle onu belirtmeliyim.
Bu yıldızlar yalnızca Harry Potter sevgim yüzünden geliyor. Çok kısa, neredeyse tamamen resimlerden oluşan bomboş bir kitaptı. Seriyi seven, okuyan ve filmlerin tamamını izleyen bir kişi için evet güzel bir koleksiyon parçası olabilir ama kitapları henüz bitirmemiş olanlar için spoiler içeriyor. Beklentim, sinemaya uyarlanan seride ince ayrıntıların işlenmiş olmasıydı ama hiç de öyle çıkmadı. Kısacası ille de seriyle ilgili her şeyi toplarım diyen kesimde değilseniz sizin için uygun olmayan bir kitap.

Jos et jaksa lukea Harry Potter-kirjoja, niin tässä on pikakatsaus kirjoihin ja leffoihin. Kuvat on otettu leffoista ja tässä ohuessa kirjassa kerrotaan hyvin pelkistetysti mistä Harry Potterissa on oikein kysymys. Takakannessa lukee että tämä kirja on täynnä ikimuistoisia lainauksia ja valokuvia, ja se sisältää kaiken, mitä sinun tarvitsee tietää "pojasta joka eli". Noh, enemmän saat tietää kun luet vaan ne oikeat Potterit, mutta kuvakirjaikäisille tämä on varmaan hyvä keino herättää kiinnostus.

No se si juzgo demasiado estas ediciones pero la realidad es que cada vez me siento decepcionada cuando las termino.
Esta de Harry me pareció totalmente desordenada, enumera cosas aleatorias pero sin demasiado sentido.
Por ejemplo los encuentros con voldemort pero no menciona las de los dos primeros libros, o las clases de harry pero sólo dos o tres. Es como que quiere mencionar dos o tres cosas por ítem y suficiente. No se, no vale la pena

Creí que me iba a dar un poco más de información pero solo me dio lo mismo que están en los libros y en las películas.
Sigo pensando que, a pesar de las desgracias que tuvo que vivir, es un mimado y desagradecido? Si, porque así lo creó la autora. Le dio una personalidad altiva y de nenito malcriado.
