I'm a big Jo Thomas fan so the moment i got a kindle i didnt hesitate to download all of her novellas. I really enjoyed this expecially as seeing the northern lights is actually on my list of top places to visit and this made me want to even more. The characters were great the storyline kept me interested and invested in the characters story it had the perfect mix of romance not too heavy or too subtle. One thing that shines everytime i read Jo's books is her ability to transport you into her books and make you want to pack a suitcase and just go there which is why i cant wait till the next book she really is a top author and definitely a favourite of mine

This was my first ever book by Jo Thomas and although I have so many books to read I ought a short read would be perfect to get me back into the scheme of reading when the children go back to school....
I really liked this book, the main character works for a theatre company and is sent to Iceland to find the opera singer who has just upped and left and she's sent to Iceland to find the answers.....
She finds out where his farm is and is knee deep in snow, this isn't her usual way of having a good time and eventually she finds him.... Before long an emergency occurs and he has to rush out in the middle of winter to help a neighbour.... The question begs does she join him or not???
All in all, it's a sweet short read and will not be my last by this author. I've actually ordered another 4..... I better get reading quicker than expected.

An short story, an enjoyable romance

I loved the descriptions of the northern lights, and the insight into life in this wonderful country. This is only a short story, sickly sweet for all the romantics out there but enjoyable all the same.

Gorgeous setting. Loveable characters. Extremely predictable storyline. I know what would happen from the first page. But still very much enjoyed this quick read

A short story set in Iceland. Had me hooked from the start. It would be great if the author wrote a second book to carry on the story.
