A hodgepodge of harmless oddities. An alternative. An Everybody Book for kids, friends, parents, and grandparents. Cuckoo clocks, little planets, secret hideouts. Quirky fun and fantasy, humor too, with a touch of philosophy to get all ages thinking―provides springboards for discussions about life, self, social interaction, and our place in Nature. Offset printed, Smyth-sewn hardcover with dust jacket. A gift for anyone, or an unusual coffee table book.
So here is how I would use this book: it will help you 'chart' what a child may be interested in: then you can decide what type of books/discussions might help reinforce those interests. I think it is so important to learn about what a child is learning (!) and if I had children I would be spending time with them so that they could make wise choices as far as sourcing information.
