2 Meh Stars
I actually almost DNF'd this one at about 33%...but I kept on truckin' for some unknown reason.
My dedication to mindlessly craptastic smut just knows no limits, apparently.
What can I say?

I feel like this book was trying to be an Alexa Riley-esque read, but it just didn't cut the mustard for me.
I MUST say though that I read this book on the heels of a slew of AMAZING books by some of my ALL time favorite authors.
Which, of course, makes the playing field verra unfair when you are comparing apples to oranges.
For that reason, I gave this 2 stars instead of the 1 star I wanted to give it.
We will call it an "it's not you, it's me" GUILT star.
For whatever that's worth...

4 TOO SHORT STARS

This book was too short! Yes I know it's a novella but it's TOO SHORT!!!

This book is really easy to follow without too much drama and NO TEEN ANGST!
Yay!
But the heroine, Jess (aka Kitten) was only 19, and the hero , Callum (aka Daddy) was 35. So this is a true May/December romance.
With the added twist of her dad being friends with the hero.
So it was clearly a case of....
They meet by chance at a club on her 19th birthday and he gave her a birthday kiss NO WOMAN COULD EVER FORGET!
And this innocent was out of her league with this alpha. He was ready to take her home and claim her but she was young and she was scared so she ran!
But this alpha was not going to give up on his Kitten. I was going to find her and claim her. He just didn't expect to see her serving him up a home cooked meal at his friend's house!
One look and ...
"Ssh, Kitten, you have to be quiet. You don't want to get caught with my hand on your sweet little clit."
He was going to tell his friend and the whole world that this woman was HIS AKA MINE.
Hence the title!
But it doesn't stop there. There was this...
"Don't worry, Kitten, I promise you this piercing is going to feel so good when it's inside that little pussy."
"Get over here Kitten. I need those lips wrapped around me."
And if that's doesn't get your motor running then how about this,

Mine was a great debut novella.
Sweet and smutty little read with light Daddy play. I loved it but sometimes you could feel that it was the author's debut into the writing scene which coupled with some editing issues, ended up stealing some of my attention. Nonetheless an awesome smut, and I'm definitely reading more from this author.

Holy crap was this a hot read! I loved Callum and I loved Jess. For a quickie short read, this had the romance, the crazy hot (and instant) attraction and some pretty damn memorable love scenes. Callum is definitely what most women's fantasies come from!

I was given an advanced readers copy of this book and have decided to leave a voluntary review. When this author approached me to read her books. I get neverous with all new authors I want to do them justice but also be truthfully honest. I truly enjoyed mine. Not only did it get blood pumping and give me goosebumps. The pot was hot. I loved how callum was a take charge guy and went after what he wanted. I found Jess extremely innocent I thought she would rebell a little but she's perfect for callum.

This is a short but sexy steamy read. Jess is the inexperienced innocent daughter of the Sheriff. For her 19th birthday she goes out with her BFF and happens meets a sexy stranger at a bar/club. To make things even more intriguing is that he's her dads good friend Callum who just recently moved to town. I love everything about Callum right from the beginning, he's without a doubt an alpha male and sexy as all hell. Jess cannot stay away and either can Callum. What would her father think about one of his co-workers/friends having a thing for his daughter? You NEED to read this story and see what happens. I loved every second, the way their story finished left me satisfied. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

I loved this bit of naughtiness. First book by this author and now I am a fan. Jess is a 19 yr. old college student that is out with a friend at a 21 club. Callum is a 35 yr. old cop that is also at the same club. Fast forward and her dad is having a friend that works for him come to dinner, the friend happens to be Callum and he is relentless in getting what he wants. He is so good with her, he knows she's innocent so he takes time with her, hang out & get to know each other.
Her dad goes out of town, so Callum is "keeping" an eye on her for him, but her friend gets into a bit of trouble when the 2 girls are out again. Callum, had a friend watching the girls and it was a good thing he did. The next day her dad gets home and comes looking for the girls.....he is not happy by what he finds, but ends up being fine after a swing at Callum.
Really loved this book, it was sweet & naughty all in one. Definitely, will be reading more from this author.

This was a sweet sexy book about a young woman falling for a friend of her Dad. Jess lives in a small town in Georgia where her Dad is the sheriff. They used to live in Chicago and when her Mom left them her Dad thought it'd be safer to move to a small town. It's her 19th birthday and her BFF, Laura has convinced her to go to a nightclub. Jess meets a hot older guy, they dance for a bit and then he takes her to a dark hallway and does delicious things to her. Before it can go any farther she gets spooked and grabs her friend running out of the club. Callum has seen it all being a police officer in Chicago and now he wants a quieter life. He calls his old co-worker, Troy and gets a job working in a small town sheriff department. He can't stop thinking about the beautiful woman he met at a club a week ago. Imagine his surprise when he finds out the woman who has been haunting his dreams is his friend's daughter.

This book was so fantastic I am having a hard time believing it is a first book! I loved Callum's over the top alpha-ness and Jess' sweet and sassy personality! This was a dd/lg type book, but that part wasn't over the top. This book was completely safe and oh so hot! I am looking forward to Troy and Laura's story! A must read!

What's done in the dark corner of a club, sure comes into light in this one. Jess and Callum (her dad's best friend) meet in the club where Jess goes to celebrate her 19th birthday. The chemistry and connection between these two is immediate.
Now there is just the little matter of telling her father that his best friend is now dating his daughter. Although a quick read, I enjoyed the way their relationship developed and the care the two had for each other.
If you are looking for a quick lunchtime "older man/younger woman - daddy read", than this would be the one.

Okay so there was nothing wrong with the hero in this book and nothing wrong with the writing. It was the heroine i had so much trouble with, I'm sick of the same girls in the stories, all naive, all so fucking stupid and all so wishy washy. URGH. She does call him daddy, so if you don't like reading about that stuff then this book isn't for you.

Give me a book about a good Alpha male "Daddy" and it makes my little taboo heart sing. I went into this one, not sure what to expect as it is a new author, and as we all know. Daddy books can either be done right, or icky. It really is a roll of the dice which you get.
This one was done phenomenally right! Not only was it the perfect length for me (short and oh so naughty) but it had enough Daddy kink and hot sex to make my little girl parts ache for a Daddy of my own. What an amazing new Voice that has been unleashed into the Indie community.

This book is melt your panties hot. Callum is an over the top alpha male police officer. Jess is totally adorable aspiring artist. From the moment he sees Jess the chemistry is explosive. He knows that she is his and will stop at nothing to make it happen.
