She discovers that some of the local town folk would prefer that the secrets remain buried in the past. Could a killer be living in their midst?
I don't even like to try to put the book down , it's a little immature sometimes; things are put in there that aren't really necessary to the story but the books are good and I highly recommend them I appreciate the language and the way the author ends the books.
Entertaining series..Gloria and her fellow Garden Girls are so much fun. Ms. Callaghan's descriptive writing style makes more enjoyable, allowing readers (this one, at least) to picture the scenes and what's going on. The stories mesh nicely, one into the next. Can't wait to see what the Garden Girls next adventures entail.
I read three books in the pack. Each one is great. I love all the characters in the books. They are finally more of a group working together. The only complaint I have Hope is that in Michigan the news is at Ten o 'clock not eleven. I too live in Fl. but am from Chicago.
This is the second set in the series. The characters plots are great. I never know how they are going to end but they are always enjoyable!! I definitely recommend this series. Onto book seven!!
I have now read the first 6 books of this series and can say I have loved them all. Gloria is awesome. Her adventures are wonderful journeys to be on. I look forward to reading more.
I hadn't read cozy mysteries until I got my Kindle and signed up for Kindle Unlimited. I really enjoy this genre. This is a series I will keep reading.
This entire series is excellent. However, I do recommend that you read box set one before this set. Otherwise, although each book CAN stand alone, they're much more enjoyable read in order.
I enjoyed these books as quick lighthearted reading. You meet the characters but you do not really learn much of their backgrounds. I came into this series at book 4 so perhaps I need to go back and start at book 1.
Gloria and the Garden Girls are back to solving mysteries in this second set of books. I love the characters and the storylines and the endings always put a smile on my face!
I absolutely love these book! Fun to read, the ladies are just a riot! I hope my beasties and I are half as entertaining as these ladies are. Quick and fun reads!
I really liked the series. The main character has a boyfriend who doesn't tell her to stop investigating murders and welcomes her input. That is a different twist.
All three books were very good. I enjoy Hope's writing style. You just flow threw the pages. The characters are humorous and pleasant. You get the feeling that you know them. The last book Magnolia Mansion had me fooled. I did not pick the correct culprit. He had me fooled.
Just as good as the first book ..each book keeps you guessing from start to finish on what is going to happen next and who might of done it .. Can't wait for the next book
If you can adjust to the frequent POV shifts midscene they pass the time well. Nothing impressive and they are prone to being hooky and rely heavily on each other (characters a bit flat).
This is another winner. I enjoy the style of writing. Realistic yet light. Highlighting a different partner in crime in each book keeps the stories fresh.
Garden Girls Cozy Mysteries Series Box Set 2 Books 4-6 by Hope Callaghan
Another awesome book set by Hope Callaghan! I just cannot get enough of Hope's books! Each book just gets me hooked more and more. You have to read any one or all of them in order! I love these books so much! Gloria and her Garden Girls will make you laugh, keep you in suspense, keep you wanting more! A must read! You will not regret it for a moment! Thank you, Hope Callaghan for all your books!
What a great read! The characters in Hope Callaghan’s Garden Girls Series are like real people who everyone can identify with. The friendship Gloria and her “girls” share is amazing and Ms. Callaghan smoothly blends faith, friendship, mystery, and intrigue into her books. It is so refreshing to read a good Whodunit with no foul language, graphic violence, or sexually explicit scenes and can be enjoyed by the entire family. I have enjoyed following Gloria and her friends in their adventures. I highly recommend this series.
Solving crimes and helping those around them, Gloria and the Garden Girls are at it again. Even the FBI come to town, and needs the girls to sort out the wrong doings at the post office.
I have just finished Ms Hope Callaghan' Garden Girls Cozy Mysteries Series the 2nd boxed set, books 4-6.
I loved this set as much as I loved set 1.
The Garden Girls are a great bunch of senior citizen friends. Gloria is more or less the ring leader and great at finding bodies and other mysteries to solve. She even gets her buddies to help her solve these mysteries.
