Another enjoyable read. I'm having a hard time choosing which book captivated me most as each brings its own uniqueness delivering a magical tale filled with adventure and romance. Donna's gift continues to capture her readers attention where putting the book down for even a micro second is painful. :-)

This is a great highlander/fae series and I really enjoyed it. I'm moving onto the short "Dragonfyre" to wrap it up. And, after enjoying this series so much, I can see the entire Donna Grant "Dark Sword" series in my immediate future!

However, he must leave his beloved druid glen where is he is the priestess of the druid.
On his wondering he encounters Kenna where he saves her. Unknown to him she is a druid. She is the healer for the two bordering Scottish clans.
Frang and Kenna are both drawn to each other with hidden secrets that are afraid to tell the other. They are later entangle themselves in a life and death for their lives and the people they care about. Frang vows to Kenna to get her to safety and away from her clan chieftain who wants her and the book. Yes book?

Frang is far from his beloved Druid's Glen when he saves the lovely Kenna from a band of ruffians. After being cursed for 300 years the Druid high priest no longer looks the same, but he misses his old home. Meeting Kenna changes everything... and nothing. It is obvious the healer has been taught some of the Druid ways, but she doesn't realize she is a Druid. Her clan chief has plans for her that she has no interest in and when she discovers that he has a powerful book, she knows she has to get it to the Druid's that Frang insists are real... with or without his help.
Nice addition to the series. I'm still waiting for Aimery's story.

You can't get much better than Donna Grant! She's a wonderful story teller and the worlds she creates are amazing.
Frang was such a strong character in the previous books, he seemed so lost at the beginning of this one. It was great that he could find a purpose with helping Kenna. Their journey was enjoyable to follow from the start. The action kept the story moving along.

It's okay. I feel like I enjoyed each book a little more than the last. Like the writer was finding her feet and figuring the world out a bit more. I'm not the biggest fan of the horny stuff in this series. I've read other series that do it much better. All in all it was an interesting story, but I didn't enjoy it enough to remember enough to give more specifics.

I did enjoy reading this book, but not quite as much as the previous four. It seemed somehow rushed and I noticed a few more mistakes than in the other books. I also got very confused, because there were very few scene breaks when the scene changed - so I'd be reading about Frang and Kenna and then it would jump to Theron and Aimery, which wound up giving me a headache and is possibly why it took me so long to read the book.
I did like the characters, but I would have liked to see more of the characters from the previous books. Frang and Kenna did work well together, but it irritated me no end that there was the whole 'first time sex = amazing' cliche.

The fifth book in the Druid's Glen series tells the story of Frang Malcolm, the immortal Druid High Priest, who leaves his beloved glen at the end of his 300-year curse and the fulfillment of the prophecy that concerned the first four novels. He chances upon an unknowing and unprotected Druid healer, Kenna, and the attraction is instantaneous. Highland Magic is a lovely tale, and although I did not think it measured up to the tale of Gregor and Fiona, or Lugus and Arhyn, it was great to get back into the world that is the Druid's Glen.

I loved this fairly short story of a special man (don't want to give away spoilers) and a sweet but strong woman who find one another by accident. Frang is beginning a new phase of his life and is very unsure of the future when he meets Kenna who is a healer for her druid clan. There is an instant attraction and Frang is not sure he wants to pursue this but the sexual attraction is immediate. This is one of those love stories for me I was sad to see end.

Nice series overall, but it's pretty formulaic and I set this on my shelf about half way through and did not pick it back up for about a month. I think I may just be tired of the genre at this point or by this point in the series I just lost interest.

this one is my favorite book out of the druids glen series thus far. took longer for some characters to come together but the anticipation was well worth it!! loved Kenna's fearless demeanor! I couldn't put it down! Frang and Kenna's story was enriching!!

This was as good are better than the others . I would recommend this to anyone who likes action and steamy romance. I love Scotland and will never be able to visit this makes it possible to live the magic of that beautiful

Frang the druid who was cursed for 3 years is free now. He meets Kenna a Druid healer who needs to be protected from the Wallace her larid. This was a nice romance.

I love Donna Grant’s books. This is not the first series I’ve read. I also like the Scottish theme and the druids.
The characters are lovable and hot. Certainly reading the whole series.

I had a hard time at the beginning seeing Frang as a younger man, though the story was still enjoyable. Wasn't my favourite of the series.. and I want to know if she's got a story for Aimery???
