A short and enjoyable story. I loved the epilogue and extended epilogue!
It's about Chase and Scarlett.
He's working undercover at the bar when he sees her. His focus is on her instead of his work so when she gets in trouble, he saves her and blows his cover.
He's her dad's best friend. They want each other but what if her parents find out?
It's a nice story but I like him to fight for her. Not just wait until he can have her. I want him to be the one to reach out.
It has lovely epilogue and extended epilogue (when you subscribe to her email newsletter)

When Chase blows an undercover operation at a biker bar, to rescue his best friend’s daughter Scarlett, his feelings for her are not fatherly in the least. He can’t believe how Scarlett has matured into a beautiful young woman, but as an experienced man, so much older than her, not to mention her father’s friend, he knows that he has to keep her distance.

Policed ooooh! HOT! I do love older men and this story does not fail. Chase Justice is a hot officer when he is working an undercover job he sees a beautiful girl only he knows who she is. Scarlett probably shouldn't be in a bar like this but she wants to get the feeling of it for a screenplay she is writing. When Chase shows up she is thrown off that her crush, as well as her dad's best friend, is right in front of her. Soon these two are getting a little cozy but what happens when it is poker night which means your dad will be there but you also just had sex with the man you are falling in love with.
Short story, can't wait to read more of this author.

Short, sweet an sexy.
When police officer Chase rescues his best friends daughter Scarlett from thugs outside a bar she has no business in he realizes just how inappropriate his thoughts about her are. She's his best friends daughter, not that she's a child anymore. She's grown into the kind of woman Chase likes and it's going to be hard to keep his hands to himself, especially when he offers to take her on a ride along for her research.
There's more than police procedure Scarlett want's to research.
Chase is older, sexy as hell and just what she wants. The problem is getting him to see her as a woman, a woman who wants what he has to offer her.
These two are dirty but it's also sweet. Policed is a quick read you can fit in in about half an hour, it's well written and kept me engaged until the end.

We have a younger woman situation who also happens to be his best friends daughter. Chase is on an undercover assignment and while one it sees Scarlett who he is supposed to stay away from but he can't. Scarlett is getting her dream and without realizing it she ends up getting her other dream, her dream man Chase.. Chemistry and love will conquer all..Enjoy

I received an ARC for an honest review
Chase has known Scarlett all her life. Her dad has been his best friend since college. Now that she's older though, she's gone from girl to all woman and he can't help but want to see more of her.
Scarlett always wanted Chase and now she finally gets the chance to explore more with him.
Their story was one of forbidden romance with a HEA. Hooking up with your best friends daughter is a no-no. Screwing your dads best friend is wrong. But these two made it seem like the best decision. Their attraction was hot. Their banter entertaining. And the sex was rough and dirty. They also had mutual respect for each other. The story was great in that respect. I did find that some of the words used were not really appealing however. There were a few times I wondered why the author used words that just seemed inappropriate. I also felt that in the end, there maybe should have been a little more drama or better explanation for the parents reaction. Other then that the story was great.

Scarlett is a 19 year old college student that got herself in a dangerous situation while researching for a class assignment. Luckily for her, her dad's best friend saved her. Chase is 35 years old and a police detective working undercover when he unexpectedly saw Scarlett walking into danger. After a explosive encounter in his police car, things heat up between then and they end up having a passionate and somewhat uncomfortable night together. It was a ok read, I guess, packed with fast of sex, some a bit uncomfortable for my sensitivities. I was a bit confused with Scarlett, she was presented as a innocent and inexperienced college student but she did a lot , without being prompted...for a inexperienced virgin🤷♀️

This is a funny and hot novella that features a rough police officer and a young woman ready to obey the law of desire.
I enjoyed myself a lot because it's well written, which I think is important to appreciate a story, and because it mixes a blazing-hot chemistry and a pretty, romantic HEA.
The characters share well set-up scenes from a heroic rescue to interesting police life that leads to a really naughty car encounter and some drama that concludes with a relationship that last forever.
It's a sexy story with a dirty but loveable couple. Very easy to read and enjoy.

So I have to be honest here, I can't tell if this book is actually supposed to be a joke or not. There are so many terribly bad things in this story that I don't know if the author is serious or is just taking a piss.
Like, at one point, Chase has two fingers in the heroine's mouth, and she thinks in her internal monologue that it's not enough, so she takes in all his fingers and his thumb. Like it says specifically in the book that she took in all his fingers and his thumb.
I'm trying to figure out how on Earth that would ever be sexy, but I've got nothing....
Another time, he has his fingers in her mouth (for some reason the author thinks the finger thing is super sexy 🤷🏼♀️) and asks her if she feels "it" (you know their magical connection or whatever), and she responds with his fingers still in her mouth (because this is really specified in the book that she speaks with his fingers in her mouth) "Everywhere". Don't know about you, but if I had a few fingers in my mouth and tried to say that, it would sound something like "Eberyyrwheumph". Yeah, also not sexy.
Of course that can't outdo the time Scarlett uses "spooge" in her dirty talk. As in, "I want you to cover me in your spooge"

Enjoyable book as long as I didn't think too hard about it. This was actually an interesting little story. However, I couldn't think about: 1) him being her dad's best friend, 2) him doing these things while on the job, or that 3) he was a man-pig that suddenly was reformed of his playboy ways over a 19-yr-old he's known all her life and hadn't slept with yet. I also had some issues with major details regarding the book. This was her dad's best friend from college, but the ages don't 'add up' for me. It mentions in the book that he was 35 (I reread that a couple times to make sure I wasn't mistaken). We know that she was 19. So that would mean that he was 16 while in college? Her parents had her as teenagers? I can't believe neither would've been mentioned in the book, even as short as it was. Also, she was a virgin, but had the 'abilities', desires, and situational detailed knowledge mentioned only through only reading and conjuring up experience? Unlikely. If you can suspend all of those 'real' things and just read it, you probably will get a stir from it. It was spicy, but not too raunchy. I did get a kick out of the story behind his name.

Chase Justice is a cop through and through and there to uphold the law. But when he spots a young woman that makes him stop and stare. Makes him stop breathing as she is so stunning he knows that the law of attraction has him under arrest! Despite him being undercover at a biker's bar he spots Scarlett who is doing research for a screen play. But it's not just him who has been caught in her web. Two bikers are after her when she gets up to leave so Chase has to do what must be done to save her. Because she is HIS. She might not know it yet but that's his decision and he'll make her beyond happy to be his. But what will happen for his work?? How much trouble is he going to be in?? Plus, how on earth is his best friend going to react when he finds Chase in a relationship with his 'little girl'? Brilliant storyline that kept me on the edge of my seat. An instant love story with a much older man and younger woman. She's no doormat and he is most definitely an alpha but one who respects her too! Great fun reading with great characters that I read in one sitting. Looking forward to book 12 . I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Chase is working under cover when Scarlet walks into the bar. He has no idea what she is doing there but can already see trouble coming for her. When she gets up to leave she has no clue that she is being followed until its too late. Chase comes out of the darkness and saves her but before he can talk to her she runs off. He tracks her down to her place and talks to her however he is feeling anything but what her father would approve of. Scarlet has always had feelings for her dad's best friend Chase but never thought she'd get a chance with him. Until that night when things changed between them. Things move pretty quick between them and the only other thing to do is come clean with her father about them. Can her father handle them being together? Will Chase claim her if it ends his friendship with her father?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is her dream little did she know that while working on one of her assignments she would find another dream. The man she wants to be hers in every way. Chase is on an undercover assignment that has taken him 3 months to gather the evidence on a man. On the night he can finally end this case and take this man off the streets for good he sees Scarlett. He knows he shouldn't go near her but there is something about her that draws him in and it is not just because she is his best friends daughter. Will these two get a HEA or will the fact that Scarlett's dad is Chase's best friend make that a wishful dream only?
This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will tell you this book will take you on a roller-coaster that you won't want to get off of. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Flora Ferrari has done it again in Policed: An Older Man Younger Woman Romance. Wow! Can we say hot and steamy? This novella is a quick read with a fast-paced love story that was hot from the moment the ink hit the page. Chase Justice Is a hard as nails police officer who just wants to be locked away with sexy and sinful Scarlett Smith. The two of them were both adults, right? What does it matter if she’s his best friend’s daughter?
It still amazes me that Ferrari creates character that are believable in such a short amount of time and space. This novella is no different than her last one except maybe it is a bit hotter – I think a fraction of my imagination was scorched this time around.

When you go into a bar, you don't always expect to run into someone that you know. Well when you are undercover for a big assignment and look around this bar to find out that your best friend's daughter is there as well and you have an attraction to her that you never felt before, you can get kind of crazy. So when the assignment falls through do to this impromptu run in will the 2 of them find the love they are both seeking from the other. After years of being attracted to each other without them knowing, will it work out? When the man you are in love with is your dad's best friend can you really have a true relationship? This is a happily ever after book that is worth reading. I thought it was well done and was a very quick read. If you like the older man, younger woman stories then you have to check this book out for yourself. I voluntarily read this book through their ARC program and thought is was great.

Chase is a hot & sexy undercover cop who chases bad guys in the day & the ladies chase him at night. One night while working undercover at a seedy biker bar he notices his best friend Jeff's daughter, Scarlett a college student, who isn't the little girl he remembered anymore. So when her life's is in danger, he blows his cover to help her. At first he fights against his feeling for her because she's so much younger than him, but when she informs him of her feelings, he can't stop himself. When her father, Jeff finds out about their relationship, he cuts off all contact between Scarlett & Chase. What will happen? Will they obey her parents? Will her parents accept their relationship & will they get their HEA? This was my 1st book by author Flora Ferrari & although short, i must say i enjoyed it.

I wish i could like this book more but the way they act once the parents find out is so unreal if they actually cared about each other it wouldn't have taken so long and her being pregnant for them to talk no matter what the parents did she had no problem finding him when she was knocked up and he obviously knew where she was the whole time but never even tried to see her or talk to her even leave a note wtf if she let's her parents control her life that much she not an adult she's a child and shouldn't be in a serious relationship and he's supposed to be an alpha male who ignores the girl he's supposed to be in love with because someone got mad that's not an alpha that's a pussy neither one of them should be in a serious relationship let alone be haveing a kid if they can't even stand up for themselves or each other

This is another story in this series of older men, younger women series by this author. It is quite good even though it is somewhat clear that it was written somewhat hastily. Some better editing would not hurt the story and particular attention to spelling and words being in the right places in the sentences. Other than that it was quite good. The story line was thought out, for the most part at least, the characters wonderful and the scenery what little there is about that was good. All in all quite a good but rather short romance. But I still don´t feel like I can give more than three stars for this one.

OMG! This was so hot. Chase Justice loves to bust the bad guys. Working undercover in a dangerous bar, he is surprised to see Scarlett, his best friend's daughter. Unfortunately seeing Scarlett blows his cover. But he is determined to keep her safe. He hasn't seen her in years and boy has she grown up. His first mission is to get her out of this bar and the second is to make her his. Scarlett has had a crush on him for a long time and sees this as her chance. However, there is the fact that her father is Chase's best friend. How will her parents react when they find out? If you are looking for a quick, steamy read, this is definitely for you!

A short faced-paced entertaining read. Scarlett and Chase’s chemistry shines in this story and though there is an age difference they blend well together; their romance is filled with much adoration. {I loved this read and voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.} Without reservations, I recommend this book.

This was a fun quick read. It is insta-love when Chase and Scarlett run into each other again. Scarlett is all grown up and Chase sees her in a different way. They have an instant connection and things move quickly. The sex is explicit and hot. There is a lot of sexual chemistry and tension between the two of them, as they deal with their feelings and the interruptions that they keep getting. Things happen quickly and they have roadblocks to overcome but everything is resolved in time for the happily ever after. This was an entertaining read.

I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this 4.5 book. Okay, older man, younger woman. A crush since she was too young to act on it. She wasn't looking for him. He wasn't looking for her. But, while he's under cover, he sees her in a seedy bar. He also sees some shady characters leaving after her. He has to protect her. Then, he goes to reprimand her, pnly to decide, he has to have her, and protect her for all time. Will it work out for him. Will her crush turn into love? Read this book to find out.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Scarlett and Chase. He's her dad's BFF and a cop in LA. She's going to school and happens to be done research in a seedy bar, when Chase see her. He's working undercover and blows that cover when she's put in danger. The to click together and have a special connection. So when her dad shows up and almost catches her, things go a little haywire. Great quick read with a HEA.

This is another great read from the very talented Flora Ferrari I must say I am really enjoying reading some of her earlier works and this one was no exception she is extremely talented even in these earlier books.
