Despite the fact had already read the initial set in this 4-in-1 and despite the fact post apocalyptic/dystopian genre is actually one of my go-to reading faves these stories fell short for me.

Probably because read the books back to back rather than breaking them up by reading something different in between each offering.

There were appalling editing errors throughout the books, words left off or misused, names of characters interchanged incorrectly, words repeated within sentences and etc that broke the flow of a story as it was unfolding.

For me this box set had to be put down and picked back up to read because I felt sickened by some of the violent deaths that occurred and in the last story itself even worse so than the previous offerings.

It was very apparent throughout that there are truths in these fictional tales, hard truths about what could and would happen if people had to survive without electricity/running water/readily available food stuffs and other modern conveniences for any length of time. Our world would deteriorate rapidly and so would mankind's ability to cope.

Unfortunately read these books back to back and although there were many characters none of them became my favorite as they all lost their individuality when did so, much to my dismay upon finishing.

Run, fight or die

Overall the entire collection is great. Some of the authors could use some more details in the stories but I enjoyed it.

Explosive

One of the best books I’ve read in a long time. The writer took it beyond imagination and made it real to your mind. If and when this event ever happens, I can see it happening much like this books.

Fantastic

Thia author is one of a kind. He put so much action adventure and finally a female heroine.I hardly ever get to read about a down to earth mom.I just really enjoyed it and hope for more to come
