A great annual with lots of great guest creators joining in. We get a lot of flashback, backstory. Not a lot of plot progression, but some of the flashbacks may be very important to the plot later. Lots of fun.

Якщо мені не подобаються усі попередні "річники", то цей однозначно є винятком. Тут усе грамотно й розумно зроблено, зокрема в правильному розподілі художників, де кожен із них працює окремо над героями. Фішка "Чорного молоту" в тому, що кожен номер зосереджений на окремому персонажу, розкриваючи його драматичну історію, показуючи чому саме так, а не інакше відбулося із ним. Тепер тут зібрані усі відомі нам обличчя, а саме їх п'ятеро. Особливо сподобалось те, що жоден із них не зибирає в іншого простір, тому їхні історії органічно переплетені одна з одною. Подумалось, що це могло би бути якимось невеличким фіналом, хоча Лемір, звісно ж, зробить щось більш оригінальне.

Once again, Black Hammer fails to disappoint. One of the best comics being published right now, I only wish I didn't have to wait until the end of March for another issue.

Coroczne wydanie genialnego komiksu, którego pierwszy tom miałem okazję dopiero co przeczytać. Nie będę powielał opisu z Black Hammer, Vol. 1: Secret Origins tylko wspomnę, że wielu autorów w różnym stylu pokazali elementy tego wielowymiarowego świata i to była naprawdę ciekawa odmiana.

A annual edition of a brilliant comic book whose first volume I had the opportunity to read. I will not copy the description from Black Hammer, Vol. 1: Secret Origins only mention that many authors in various styles showed elements of this multidimensional world and it was a really interesting change.

Starting to connect the dots hinted at in the first six issue. I cannot wait to read more, but unfortunately, I will have to wait for the graphic novel for the rest of the story. On to other Lemire titles for me!

Really good for an annual! Colonel Weird goes on a strange journey, cleverly told in parts with a series of super guest artists including Emi Lenox and Mike Allred. Everyone one the team has a hand in this tale.
