A Piece of Advice & Admonition for the Women

Rate this book
It was certainly from the guidance of the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم to specifically address the women with admonishments and reminders, just as it is found in al-Bukhārī on the authority of Ibn 'Abbās رضي الله عنه:

"The Messenger of Allāh exited, prayed and then delivered a sermon. Then, he approached the women, admonished them, gave them a reminder and commanded them with charity"

O successful woman, may Allāh fragrance your life with knowledge and Īmān, your time with obedience and awareness of Him, and may He beautify your body with a covering and modesty.

This is advice that I gift to you, hoping that Allāh will benefit you by way of it.

Who is the most noble of them? The most pious. They will be in gardens, honoured.

A woman should give priority to her most lofty and noble goal, worshipping God.

She must guard her reputation, honor, and nobleness.

What is good about her is her chastity, integrity, purity, defending virtue, good character, protecting nobleness

A woman should lower her gaze.

So, fear of God and excellent character

This one is harsh advice.. I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners but if you want something to really solidify your beliefs and make you strong in them- this is the one! It’s good for women who intend to solidify their beliefs and be reminded of the importance of our duties.

The naseeha (advice) that is needed and will be needed until the end of times. Our honour as women lies in the deen of Allah and the sunnah of the prophet ﷺ (with the understanding of the Salaf).

Those that want good for you, will highlight your shortcomings not because they want you to fail but they you want to improve and be the best that you can be. This is what I felt from the shaykh’s book. May Allah preserve him.
