Siamo alle battute finali della lotta tra Natsu e Zeref, mentre Elsa e Wendy si stanno occupando di Acnologia. Una lotta avvincente dove però c’è ancora spazio per il mistero e la risoluzione di molte cose ancora rimaste irrisolte. Un po’ incasinato, un po’ troppo ex-machina in alcuni punti e mi fa strano pensare che il prossimo volume sarà l’ultimo. Ho dei dubbi che tutto si chiuderà totalmente in un solo volume perché trovo che ci siano ancora molte questioni di risolvere e spero che il finale non sia tutto semplice e banale... Insomma sono un po’ intimorita dal finale ma allo stesso tempo non vedo l’ora di leggerlo.

4/5 Well there’s only one volume left now and it appears that the final battle is over. I assume that the last volume will be wrap up.
Was the ending perfect? No. But I enjoyed it enough. There’s a bit of a Deus Ex Machina at the end to deal with Acnologia making it feel a little shoehorned but I didn’t hate it.
The final battle between Natsu and Zereff wasn’t as good as some of the previous fights in this arc but if you’ve been here since the beginning you know it’s always gonna be “THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP”.

Was the ending perfect? No. But I enjoyed it enough. There’s a bit of a Deus Ex Machina at the end to deal with Acnologia making it feel a little shoehorned but I didn’t hate it.
The final battle between Natsu and Zereff wasn’t as good as some of the previous fights in this arc but if you’ve been here since the beginning you know it’s always gonna be “THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP”.

There's literally no other synopsis floating around which is probably just as well because this is the penultimate volume and things are tense and I'm waiting to see how things are going to end, and I'm so on edge while reading because ONE VOLUME LEFT!
Jellal really gets his badass on in this volume, and I was cheering for him because FINALLY. Blue Pegasus face off with Acnologia as they show up to help out Wendy and Erza, and there's an interesting plot twist regarding Anna, you might remember her! We go back in to the past and finally see what went down when Lucy's mother opened the gate and Natsu and co arrived! Meanwhile Gray and Lucy are trying to save Natsu who's facing off with Zeref. That's as much of a synopsis as I can give you without too many spoilers!
As the series is starting to wrap up we're getting more and more blanks filled in and questions answered and it's exciting but also kind of sad because it's nearly all over! This volume genuinely made me feel bad for every single time I've taken the piss out of Ichiya, I'm not going to lie.
Volume 62 is fast paced, and there's a lot of action and a lot going on as two battles take place simultaneously...and kind of a third! The volume builds up to a crescendo pretty fast and as we end the volume we're left with some potentially devastating consequences. Things are sombre and serious, and there's plenty of tension to go with the immense sense of danger. This volume genuinely hit me right in the feels. All the pieces have finally come together, we know how everything happened and what went down and we get an epically huge battle to win. *sobs for eternity* The chapter drawings had me all nostalgic too, I'm so not ready for this to end!

Je vais parler du tome 56 à 63; sans spoilers pas d'inquiétude !
Certaines scènes (notamment dans le 56) m'ont juste ENERVEES, et je n'ai vraiment pas supporté, j'ai dû faire une mini-pause !
Je dois avouer que les deux derniers tomes étaient très bons; on a vu/revu certains personnages. Pas mal de choses assez prévisibles, mais ce n'est pas grave !
Je suis assez "frustrée" parce que je n'ai pas eu tout ce que je voulais, mais à part ça, je suis assez satisfaite de la fin. Je ne parlerai pas de l'éternel "fan-service", ça, je n'en peux juste plus !!!!
Je sais qu'il existe techniquement une suite, j'hésite quand même à me plonger dedans, en tout cas pour le moment ! On verra !
Une page se tourne, un livre se ferme; c'était une lecture sympathique.

Only one more volume till the end of the main series. Let's see what we have on the line.
1. Immortal death wizard with a death wish must be defeated.
2. All powerful dragon slayer turned dragon has to be defeated even though he can literally eat any type of magic.
Get fired up as Natsu faces Zeref as he gets stronger then ever and see the teamwork of not only Fairy Tail but also Blue Pegasus and Lucy's relative from the past as they come up with a plan to take out one of the most vicious dragons to ever terrorize the world. I was worried with both majorly tough enemies on the loose by the end of last volume but now...now I have hope for a good ending that may or may not have a bit of tragedy but only time (and fanlations if you are into them) can tell.
There are some great moments in this volume but for me seeing Ichiya take the controls of the ship from Anna and heroically slams the vessel into Acnologia to set the plan into motion. Meeeeeeennnnnnn!

Much like the infamous Civil War in America...brother fought against brother and here we are at the end of the series of Fairy Tail and brothers are battling all-out with an all or nothing mentality! This book is a mix of emotions because it really is the winding down of an epic adventure. I think a lot of people miss a lot of the qualities that make this series great. It is not talked about as much as it should and not given the credit it so richly deserves. The art...always breathtaking and the use of line work is so sharp it could cut you in half! I am not 100% happy with how they concluded some of the lose ends in this volume....buttttttttt it wasn't terrible either. The final battle takes place literally inside the Fairy Tail guild, which is a nice touch! Stay tuned for the final volume of the series...Fairy Tail volume 63!

The moment of truth has come for Fairy Tail’s fight against Zeref and Acnologia but it doesn’t look good. The first master has a plan but everyone is unsure of whether it’ll be enough. At the same time, Lucy’s old teacher thinks they have a solution to the Acnologia problem but the risk might be too high. Unless everything goes exactly as planned at the exact right moment, things seem like they will be lost.
I enjoyed this a lot more than a lot of the previous novels because it was a lot more consistent in my enjoyment rather than there being many parts I didn’t like but also having others I loved. At the same time it wasn’t the best. Definitely ready for the last volume and really hoping it ends on a high note.

The End of this series was great, watching and reading it for the last seven years, the development of the characters and how each character links with the other is just amazing, I will not go into many details because I will write until all the character of the Goodreads website finishes. This was one of the top Manga series I ever read. Thank you, Hiro Mashima for the last amazing seven years.

Jetzt ist also auch Anna da. Layla wollte Lucy ohne Bürde aufwachsen wissen. Besser, dass sie das nicht mitbekommen hat. Ich frag mich, was Mavis Plan war, aber vielleicht erfährt man das noch. Das ich drehe die Zeit zurück, um meine Fehler zu korrigieren hatte ja schon Ultear zu Genüge durchgekaut. So einfach ist das nicht. Anna und Ichiya geopfert haben sich am Schluss noch geopfert. Schräge Kombi.

It took 1 chapter, 1 chapter for Natsu to beat Zeref to the point where he says "I can't move.". Funny that the chapter just before this battle, Zeref was unbeatable and Natsu was about to die... Though the suspense build up was nice.

Está bien, con un mcguffin del espacio entre tiempos consiguen derrotar a Achnologia quedando también ¿atrapados, destruidos? Ichiya el perfume y la antepasada de Lucy que apareció repentinamente en este tomo.

was the final battle against acnologia clearly rushed? yes. is it utterly ridiculous how mashima introduced one super random thing to get rid of him? definitely. do i care? not really, cause despite everything this was a pretty decent volume and i'm having fun

It's nice to see Blue Peagus and Ichiya save the day along with the team effort from Fairy Tail. What an asshole Zeref is though. Can't wait to see how it all ends.
