Swept Into Love was Melissa Foster’s long-awaited fifth book in the Ryder series and forty first book in the Love In Bloom series. As always, it was a great addition to the series.

Gage Ryder and Sally Tuft have been a part of several books within the Love In Bloom series so we’ve been building up to finally getting their story. Sally lost her husband several years ago in a skiing accident (book one, Sisters in Love) and was a single mom. Gage met her through the youth center and although the attraction was immediate, they became best friends and kept it to that level as Sally adjusted and Rusty, Sally’s son, grew up.

We are now in book forty one, so that was quite a few years ago and Rusty was now twenty and in college. Part of me was dreading this book because they should have found their forever love together long before now and any conflict would seem over kill and unrealistic. In the end, it was mostly sweet, with a few funny moments, the main conflict being how to tell Rusty and how will he respond. However, Foster threw in a few twists in the latter half of the book to make it even more interesting.

Aside from the hot sex scenes, the first half of the book was Sally waffling and whining about telling Rusty, and that part was annoying. I personally thought after five years of deep friendship and Gage already like a father to him, Rusty could care less. That was the logical real life scenario, but you’ll have to read it to see which direction Foster chose. For a side note, I’d love to see Rusty eventually get his own story too. Hint hint....

Typical for Foster’s style, Swept Into Love was well written and well developed with depth and dimension. Although Gage and Sally have been friends for years, it was sweet to see some of their firsts. Foster chose to write a full length novel, however, she could have accomplished this story easily in a novella. Since we’ve watched them develop over the years, it moved a little slow for my liking in the beginning. With that said, I did enjoy the last third of the book tremendously.

Another bright spot was catching up with the originals in the series and seeing so much of Danica, Max and Kaylie as well as seeing up close the family progression. Add in the entire Ryder family at Christmas and it was the perfect lead in for a legacy spinoff when the time is right.

Foster also took the opportunity to introduce characters for a new series, the Montgomery’s. I was intrigued and I’m looking forward to watching them develop further and see where Foster takes us. They definitely are an entertaining bunch! Grace Montgomery is first in Embracing Her Heart

Swept Into Love ~ Gage Ryder by Melissa Foster was a beautifully written, heartwarming romantic read.

The storyline was engaging, both Gage and Sally were likable, warm, endearing characters that I found easy to connect with and loved watching them get their happily ever after.
Gage is such a sweetheart, I loved how patient, caring and loving he is. From the first meeting he knew Sally was the girl for him but he also knew he needed to be patient as she needed time before she could open her heart to love again after the passing of her husband.
Gage was there for her and her son as a friend and someone to lean on, no questions asked.
Sigh.. I loved Gage and Sally together, they were true soulmates.

I'm a big fan of Melissa Foster's writing and once again she's given her readers a heartfelt, romantic read that will bring out all feels and leave you with a heart full of love.

Book Review For: SWEPT INTO LOVE by Melissa Foster 'SWEPT INTO LOVE' by Melissa Foster is Book Five in "The Ryders" Series . This is the story of Sally and Gage. I have not yet read the other books in this series so for me this was a standalone book. Sally lost her husband some years ago leaving her with a Son to raise. Within a few months after his death she meets Gage along with being her friend is her coworker. Gage has even helped her son Rusty when he needs a father figure / friend. Now Rusty is 20 years old and Sally is more on her own than when they first met. Gage has been pretty open about his feelings for Sally and that he would like to have a relationship with her. Sally on the other hand finds Gage attractive ...to much so she thinks but also values his friendship with her and her son. Sally fears are that if they have a relationship and they break it off then her son would be hurt by the lost of Gage. This was a more mature romance story but nerveless a really good one! Enjoyed it!"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."https://www.amazon.com/gp/profile/A2H... https://twitter.com/soapsrus68 https://www.facebook.com/RomanceBookR... http://booklikes.com/bloghttps://roma... https://www.tumblr.com/blog/romancebo...

So this is what it means to take baby steps.

Step 1: Meet your soulmate.
Step 2: Break your own heart.
Step 3: Learn how to love again.

There's something about a guy, that will break his own heart in order to heal someone else's. Gage is that guy. A stand up friend, a stand - in father and a sensitive and sensual delight. He wears his heart on his sleeve and his penchant to love flows naturally. So close and yet so far away, convincing the woman of his dreams is proving anything but easy. Can he risk his heart for a woman afraid to open hers? Sally and Gage are a match made in heaven. He's determined, she's stubborn. She's running scared, he's never been more sure. Swept into Love is a conversation of the heart. If Gage and Sally would listen closely, they'd realize the deal was sealed, long ago. Ms. Foster can set off tingles and light up sparks as she carves out a clear pathway to the heart.

So first I need to just say that #TitleWIN because not only did it fit the journey of Gage and Sally perfectly, but also the reader’s journey. This story swept me right along with it. It grabbed me by my heart and just … whooooosh <3

I’ve been a fan of Melissa’s work for a while now. She keeps churning out those words that are just so easy to read. Her books speak to you. Well, they speak to me. She does an exceptional job unfolding a story and making sure the reader becomes part of the journey. Her story-telling skills are beyond perfect. She did this with Gage and Sally. I felt the struggle and the tug and the emotion. While I read their journey I felt like I was on it with them. It’s a really heartfelt journey you don’t want to end but yet you do because you want to see them happy. It’s an odd place to be …. Wanting a book not to end because it’s that well written but yet wanting to get to that HEA so badly! I loved Gage and Sally that much!

Oh My! I have been waiting for Gage & Sally to get their happy ever after, even since we met them in the Snow Sisters: Sisters in Love, and although it was a long time coming...it was magnificent.
From the start (What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas!) you are sucked into this story, and you follow them from Vegas to Virginia. I really don't want to give away any spoilers, so all I'm gonna say is that they have plenty of angst, soul searching, and lots of hot lovin' on their business trip. But when they return home, what will their family and friends make of the situation?
This is another great read in Melissa Foster's Love in Bloom series, and the book lots of her fans have been waiting for. You will laugh, you will sigh, you will swoon...and maybe shed a (happy) tear or two. But most of all, you will thoroughly enjoy it. Especially catching up with the extended family, plus being introduced to a few new ones. I love this series...may it never end!!

I wasn't swept into love like Gage and Sally, I was utterly blown away by their romance! Honestly, I knew there was going to be some drama with Rusty (Sally's twenty year old son) and I don't usually like when a hero or heroine has to sacrifice his/her happiness in order to keep his/her children happy but I truly wanted to read Gage and Sally's story and I can't really resist to Melissa's books. Melissa Foster is one of my favorite authors and once again she amazed me with a beautiful, swooning, steamy romance that was the perfect culmination of years of true friendship.

The best team ever.

Gage is a fiercely loyal, protective, smart, sexy, strong man and he's definitely a perfect book boyfriend. He has been in love with Sally for years. They're best friends, co-workers, their attraction has been burning hot since they met but Gage knows he has to be patient with Sally, after losing her husband she dedicated herself to her son and hasn't allow herself to fully move on, however now Rusty has left for college and they have to take a trip to open a new youth center, so Gage is incredibly hopeful that they can give in to their feelings.  Will Sally be able to resist their burning red hot attraction?

Sally is a loving, protective mother who has been dodging her feelings for Gage for years. Gage is her son's confident and her best friend and she's terrified of what might happen if they get involved. She's also a sexy, beautiful, independent, sassy woman who knows exactly what who she wants, however she's fighting her feelings even though it has been years since her husband died and Gage is the epitome of a walking temptation. Will she risk their friendship and her son's close relationship with Gage to take a chance on love?

What took you so long?

If you love romance, any type of romance, I highly recommend Swept into Love: a brilliantly written, amazing, swoony, emotional, sweet, addictive, hot best-friends-to-lovers story that can be read as a standalone. Unquestionably, a must read and a 2017 top favorite.

I read the previous books in the Ryder series and enjoyed them. So, it should not come as a surprise I would want to read Swept Into Love, book #5 in the series. Gage Ryder intrigued me, when I met him in the previous instalments, so I was doubly excited when I discovered that this would be his story.

What The Story Is About.
Gage Ryder has been in love with his best friend, Sally Tuft, for years. However, he was contented to remain in the friend zone as long as it would take for her to move pass the pain of losing her husband. Meanwhile, he remained close, being there for both her and her son, Rusty.
Sally Tuft lost her husband. Leaving her to raise her teenage son on her own. With the help of friends, like Gage she survived the pain and got her life back on track. She never expected to fall in love. She struggled with her feelings, as she feared giving into her passion would not only destroy their friendship but also damage the relationship he had with her son. However, fate had other plans as one night in Vegas will not only test their friendship but also put the love they had for each other on the line. Will the events of this fateful night destroy their friendship and their love for each other or will they allow themselves to be swept into love?

Swept into Love is a must for fans of friends to lover’s trope and second chance romance.

What I Thought about the:

The Story

Engaging, entertaining, funny and heart-warming. These elements combined helped to make a wonderful second chance romance, which I quickly devoured. The story quickly pulled me in and before I realised, I found myself invested in every facet of this well written tale. I have read a few of Ms. Foster’s work, some of which were a hit and some a miss. This was definitely a hit for me. I loved that the drama was low-keyed. Its effect was not to destroy, but to help strengthen relationship between the characters.

The Romance

I thought the romance was adorable, but it was not without its obstacles. It developed from a long-time attraction between two friends. Gage and Sally had been in love with each other for years, but neither acted on their feelings until that fateful night in Las Vegas. Their friends knew how they felt about each other and kept hoping they would finally get their act together. There was no insta-love involved, which made what they shared realistic.
The sexiness factor was off the charts. Ms. Foster did not hold back in this department. The love scenes were hot, but it did not overshadow the story. If these scenes were to be removed, it would not lessen the impact of the story.

The Characters

Sally and Gage are wonderful characters. Gage is patient, caring, determined and loyal. I loved how patient he was with Sally. I admired his willingness to give her time to move past the pain for the death of her husband. Sally is caring, protective and independent. I could relate to Sally’s fears about moving Gage from the friend zone. If the relationship should go wrong it could mean the end of a great friendship.

Her dedication to her son demonstrated that she was a caring and protective mom. Every decision she makes is donewith her son in mind. She takes the time to consider how her actions would affect him. The fact that Gage saw this and willingly heed her wishes to keep their relationship secret despite how painful, demonstrated the true depth of his feelings for her.

The secondary characters helped to bring the story alive. Their antics and banter had me grinning from ear to ear. One of the things I enjoy about the author’s books is her focus on family and friends. This book was no different. Gage’s family are fun and loving group. I loved how they embraced Sally and her son from the moment she became a part of Gage’s life. They made her feel like she was a part of the family. They are a fun-loving group of people, who cared deeply for each other. Their friends were no different.

Swept Into Love was a sweet, feel good romance that was low on drama and had no angst. The story highlighted characters that were realistic and who were faced with real life problems. I enjoyed the romance, the story and the friendships.

Friends to lovers is a favourite trope of mine and Swept into Love more than meets my expectations.

Widowed Sally Tuft is a single parent who's son Rusty is now in college. In the time since her husband died, she's worked hard to provide a secure home for them both as well as forge a close friendship with her work colleague Gage Ryder. A trip to Vegas changes her relationship with Gage forever. However, can come to accept their 'careless mistake' as a sign to build a life together as a couple?

Gage Ryder has spent the years he's known Sally Tuft patiently waiting for the right moment. He met his best friend at work after her husband died and since then they have forged a friendship so close, her son sees him as a father figure and confidant. During a trip to Vegas, their lives take a fascinating turn; Gage is eager to cling to what happened because he finally has what he's patiently waited for...Sally.

Gage and Sally have always shared a respect for each other which has developed over the years into a deep friendship. Their connection on the surface has been one of platonic affection yet underneath both have feelings that time hasn't given them an opportunity to share. Until one fateful night.

"It turns out what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas."

Despite the best of intentions, plans tend to go awry. The morning after the night before is the first time the protagonists don't agree on what happens next. Understandably, Gage is a man on a mission. After releasing some of the pent up passion he's hidden over the years, he's a man determined to prove to the woman he loves they haven't made a mistake. However, as a Mom, Sally has reservations about how the world sees them. Specifically, her son's reaction to the change in status between his Mom and her best friend. So, it's intriguing to discover the dynamics of the bond between Gage and Rusty. How best intentions are not always the way to go as exposed secrets cause unnecessary upset and distress.

As always, Melissa Foster delivers a well written, entertaining novel that keeps your attention the duration of the novel. I've always loved the familiarity of knowing (most of) the secondary characters in her books as they add an extra depth to the protagonists' story and Swept Into Love is no exception. The easy banter is full of humour keeping the proceedings light and fun. Even when the narrative turns serious to address a complex, emotional issue, there's always a balanced point of view with a thoughtful conclusion. The romance is sexy with an overall heart-warming feel. If you've never read any of the other Ryder's novels, you'll love this just as much as any reader who is familiar with the series and happy endings

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

If you have never read a Melissa Foster book before - then I can only ask you why? She is an author at the top of her craft - and this story is no exception. As you will probably know, there are many, many books which all interlink, and yet this would be very rich as a standalone too. That said, why would you not want to immerse yourself in the goodness that comes from reading a Foster novel?

If only I had a Gage in my life - probably a sentiment echoed by every reader of this super sexy, romantic and wonderfully rich novel. Sally is one lucky lady - and after all the years that they have been friends, a mad moment gives them both the chance to indulge in something they have both wanted forever, and been too cautious to grab. There are plenty of grabby hands once the barriers are down, and it is such fun watching their new reality emerge.

Be ready for some delicious heat, some sparkling wit, and some hilarious 'can't wait another moment' embarrassments ... fortunately they are far too involved in each other to really care! We get to spend a good length of time with them - and the rest of the family, which brings us to a perfect finale, which really proves just how perfect Gage is.

Be warned, you will not want to put this down once you have started, so unless you want an allnighter, or a burned dinner, please plan sensibly! That said it is worth the tired morning after, as you can replay it in your mind and smile along with the rest of the Ryder clan.

Melissa Foster wowed me with this thoughtful, romantic novel. Swept into Love features Gage Ryder and Sally Tuft’s friends-to-lovers romance. Their story has an unusual beginning but, it’s abundantly clear that this couple shares a strong, emotional connection.
I loved how Gage and Sally’s story unfolded on each page. I understood why Gage gave Sally her space and could feel his love for her as I read each chapter. Sally’s struggle to think of herself as a woman and not as solely someone’s mother resonated with me. I understood that she gave of herself and needed to be cherished. Gage romances Sally when the couple travels to Virginia for work—the author does a fabulous job balancing Sally’s concerns with Gage’s desires. I fell for Gage because he has been in love with Sally for years and took the time to show her and tell her how he felt.
Loved when the couple travelled to the Poconos for their honeymoon—the tree lighting, honeymoon suite and the gift basket made me laugh! The author has a gift of blending romantic gestures of love with deep emotional feelings—the conversations between Sally and Gage made me smile! I was thrilled that Sally decided to trust her feelings for Gage during their weekend away!
Swept into Love has all the feels—Once again, Melissa Foster made me laugh, cry and fall in love with Sally and Gage. The characters are relatable and their love story is emotional, romantic and very sensual. The novel is well-paced and there are several surprises tucked into the storyline—I cried happy tears when I finished the book.
My suggestion? Set aside an afternoon to read this book. I guarantee that you will be swept away by this fabulous romance!

Gage and Sally have been best friends for years, doing things that normal couples would do. They buy gifts for others together, share dinners, work together, and Gage has been like a father to Sally's son Rusty. Sally's husband Dave died in a skiing accident almost 6 years earlier, and both Sally and Gage have ignored their feelings for one another. But now that Rusty has been away at college for a few years, things definitely start to change between them.

I loved Gage and Sally's story for several reasons, but it was basically just the incredible chemistry, love, and respect between the two of them. They were practically the perfect couple already as best friends, but once they admit their true feelings, they are unstoppable. There are several other familiar characters interlaced in the story (Blue, Jake, Trish, etc), but overall, it's all about Gage, Sally, and Rusty.

I won't give any spoilers, of course, but get ready for a different kind of story this time, compared to a lot of Melissa's other novels. This romance is written differently from the others, but also made it one of the sweetest and romantic novels of hers that I have read! This is a fast-paced novel that you should prepare to be sucked in to. You will want to finish Swept into Love in one sitting, so don't start this one if you have to be somewhere in an hour! As always, I was left feeling romantic, smiling, and full of love after reading Melissa Foster, but something about Swept into Love stands out to me, easily making this one of my favorite novels she has written.

Sally and Gage have been friends for 5 years. They work at the same place--go out to dinner a lot and in general really enjoy each others company. Sally's husband died leaving her alone with a son. Gage acts as a kind of surrogate father. Now Gage has been in love with Sally ever since he met her--but is waiting for some kind of signal--She is afraid of losing his friendship but even more so that her son might lose his mentor if they take it any farther and it does not work out. Sally is a worrier!!!

Then one morning she wakes up next to Gage--then finds out they are now married. Seems while in Las Vegas--she at least got very drunk--and they had an Elvis Type wedding! Oh what to do--how is she going to tell her son--her friends. Well Gage knew how to keep her calm-mostly--and besides they still had the real business part of the trip to get through.

It all comes to a head when they return home (uh--which house would/should they live in?) when Gage receives a phone call that her son is in jail and they have to go and potentially bail him out.

There are parts of this book that I honestly found funny and started laughing--others--I was blushing right along with Sally!! I kept having to remind myself that these two were already married--even though they were the only two who knew!!

Swept Into Love literally had me swept away! There is something special about a love that develops with a foundation of friendship. In today's world, we see people easily get swept up in the idea of love, the surface of someone, and quick flings but a friendship first gives true love a good, firm foundation. Sally and Gage are incredible. They wake up in Las Vegas with the ol' cliche of finding themselves married and while Sally wants the marriage annulled, Gage convinces her to give it a go.

He has already proven himself as a prominent part of her life and her son's, too; however, Sally has lost her husband in an accident and she's having to raise a teenage boy on her own. It's a lot to take on and is scary taking that big of a leap of faith again. The possibility of losing the love and respect that currently exists is a risk she's not sure should be taken. I love that Gage never had a second though about being such a permanent fixture in their lives. It makes him beyond incredibly lovable!

The title for this book couldn't be more perfect. I love that Melissa chose to bring these two together in such a beautiful - yet super HOT - storyline. My only disappointment with this one - it ends!

I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

How long should friends just stay friends before exploring a natural attraction to each other?  In Swept Into Love, Melissa Foster tells the story of Sally and Gage, two friends who tried to ignore the attraction and fate threw them into a marriage they both wanted but didn't know they did.

Out of all Melissa Foster's amazing stories, I love this one so much!   I'm a sucker for an arranged marriage or a marriage by accident story and this one is truly amazing.  Gage and Sally have been flitting around each other for several of Foster's books. I am so glad their story was finally told.

Sally Tuft woke up with the mother of all hangovers in Vegas and a marriage to her best friend.  What happens in Vega will follow them like a bad haircut.  They knew there was an attraction, but when they discovered they were married, all rules are out. Gage and Sally finally discover that the heat they felt wasn't just in their heads.

Finding out if their marriage would work once they were back home was the test of their lifetimes.  With Gage never being married, Sally having a grown son, they each have their own set of problems to deal with, but they find out that their friendship is even stronger than they ever imagined it was.

Read Melissa Foster's Swept Into Love to find out how Sally and Gage's story continues.

Swept Into Love is Book 5 in the Ryder series. In this book we follow the story of Sally Tuft and her best friend Gage Ryder. Sally’s had a tough life, her husband died leaving her all alone to raise her teenage son. He’s now left home for college which has left Sally with time for other things, she’s always had more feeling for her best friend and co-worker Gage who is a great friend and mentor to her son but doesn’t want to spoil the friendship. Gage has always been there for Sally and her son and hopes one day Sally would move past her husbands death and finally want to explore a more passionate relationship with him. Sally and Gage head to Oak Falls for the opening of a New Youth Center for work and Gage hopes that the trip away together is what they need and will finally get them together. They spend time together at a conference before they head to Oak Falls and that changes everything. Will love conquer all? How will everyone feel when they discover what has really happened between them? How will Sally’s son react? There were several twists and turns in this book that were pleasant surprises. This was another fantastic book by Ms Foster that I really enjoyed.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, sadness, pain, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Seized By Love (Love In Bloom; The Ryders, #1)
Claimed by Love: Duke Ryder (The Ryders #2)
Chased by Love (The Ryders #3)
Rescued by Love (The Ryders #4)

This is Sally and Gage’s story. Sally lost her husband year ago but has been raising her son. Now that her son has left for college she knows it’s time to move on. There has only ever been one man she wants besides her husband and he is her best friend. Can she try a relationship with her best friend or is she just too afraid of losing him to ever try? Gage has wanted Sally for years but has known she is not ready to move on. He also knows that when she is ready he wants to be there to get hit chance. When that chance finally comes will they both be willing to try to be together or is the fear of losing each other and their friendship going to hold them back? Could this be the beginning of a great future for them both or is it just the end of them being friends at all?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and this author.

Melissa Foster's Love in Bloom series is a wonderful tribute to romance. The characters are modern, sassy, urban and most of all have real feelings and emotions. The Ryders are a series of stand-alone romances within the Love in Bloom about a fiercely loyal family with alpha males and strong women.
I have been waiting for Gage Ryder and Sally Tuft since the beginning of the Love in Bloom series.

Sally Tuft is the widow of Blake Carter's partner in Sister in Love and she faced many challenges as a single mother of a teenager who just lost his father and discovered a half brother in the process.

We have met Gage and Sally many times in the prior books, always friends (without benefits) and very close to each other. Their love for each other was obvious but Sally hold up for the sake of her son.

Now, finally we can read their story! I was so looking forward for this one! It is a mature couple who have lived, loved and got hurt by life and now they are finally ready to be together.

Of course it is not an easy path and it has twits and turns that only Melissa Foster can write. She has the touch of humor, drama and sexy in her computer keyboard that makes this story special and so interesting to read.

Gage and Sally have quickly became one of my favorite couples!

It's about time for Gage and Sally! I've been hoping they'd finally get together soon. I love the Ryder family with their sense of loyalty, strength, and compassion.

Sally's turmoil is apparent right from the start. Sally is a strong, loving mother who is also very cautious for her own life and her son's. Sally is very hesitant to take a risk with Gage because so much is at steak if things go sour.

Gage is Sally's best friend, co-worker, and her son's confident. He helped be the male role model for Sally's son. Gage is a true Ryder. His loyalty to Sally, without them being together, is amazing. To Gage, there is no other woman like Sally. He has been patiently waiting for Sally to be ready.

I love how patient and comforting Gage is with Sally towards what happened. He allowed Sally to adjust and process what has happened between losing her husband and her feelings with Gage. No matter how challenging things got, Gage never gave up.

Swept in Love is truly a romantic read.

I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Melissa Foster is one of my favorite authors. Her stories draw me in and capture me. I'm addicted lol! So I couldn't wait to read her newest book Swept into Love.

Gage and Sally are so cute together. I remember reading about them in other books in the series and think they would be perfect together. What I love about their story is it is different from most others where the female falls in love first. Gage knows he loves her and wants her but she pushes him away and just wants to be friends for fear of hurting her son and her dead husband. Gage never gives up and his dream comes true she is finally his, now he has to prove to her it's meant to be.

Alice is a good mom, wife, and friend but she worries too much about others. It's time for her to do what she wants and needs but that's easier said than done when you want everyone else to be happy first.

This story had me laughing, smiling and crying. I felt like I was in the story and wanted to push them together faster. The love scenes were extremely hot and the ending was perfect. This is a definite must read if you love romance books. Pick it up today!

One wild night turn into forever

I always love Ms. Melissa Foster books and Swept Into Love is not an exemption. This book has many delicious moments which I am not complaining. My very first time to read her series with full of fanning actions while am reading my Nook. It is even hotter than summer.

Gage and Sally one wild night turn into forever. These two are like sizzling steak which you cannot stop to devour right away. Their chemistry is darn hot.

I loved this story. I loved how Gage is so respectful of Sally's side which every man should do. I wish that single parent's relationship is like Sally and Gage. There is so much love aside from respect.

This book is funny and very inspirational. It does not only deal with how to do the right parenting but also help kids to have a bright future with goal oriented organization like Gage and Sally handle. Kids will no doubt enjoy life and stay away from drugs and all the bad stuff.

I really enjoyed reading this book.

Here is another great addition to the Love in Bloom series. Melissa Foster has most definitely done it again! If you follow my book reviews then you already know that I love female characters that are both strong and sexy. That is the case of Sally who has done a great job of raising a teenage son on her own after the death of her husband. In this story you can see how a mom can not just be strong but sexy as well.

Sally and Gage have been friends for a while now (no, nothing has happened between them before). It's in this book where we learn that sometimes true love is really close by. In this book Sally and Gage get their turn at both romance and true love. I loved this story right from the start. While this book is part of a series, it's a great stand alone read. Trust me when I say it's a story you should not miss.

It all comes full circle with Melissa Foster's Swept Into Love. Gage Ryder met his match in Sally Tuft years ago (we met them both in Sisters in Love/Love in Bloom), but we finally get their love story and it's everything I hoped it would be.

Love, lust, romance, friendship all mesh together in this newest romance from Melissa Foster's brilliant mind. Once again, I have to say that creates the most well-rounded, charming characters. Especially those hunky heroes! Just like in the other The Ryders books, friends and family surround the couple and are integrated in their story.

I think this one means more than some of the others because we saw the beginning of their friendship so long ago and now we finally get the full story. I was so invested in this book that I was saddened when the story ended. That happens a lot with Melissa Foster books because she creates these believable characters that build upon one another and you just can't help but fall in love with their stories.

Smile, swoon, and fall in love with this new romance by Melissa Foster.

The long awaited story of Gage Ryder and Sally Tuft was absolutley worth the wait. After Sally loses her husband, she never thought she would be able to find love again. Gage has been there for her for years as a confidant and best friend. They do everything together. Everyone has always wondered why they havent gotten together yet. But one night in Vegas changes all that. Gage has always had a thing for Sally. Sally never wanted to ruin the friendship they have together especially the bond Gage shares with her son Rusty. Rusty looks up to Gage. But their night in Vegas has just made everything come to a head. Can they make this work and find their happiness? I loved their story so much.

Sally and Gages story was amazing from the very first word to the very last word! Man you could just feel the heat coming from the pages between them and what they felt for each other. Pent up sexual tension for at least 5 years if not more, you could tell. They might be one of my favorite couples out of Melissa Fosters books so far! I do wish I could have read more and found out more about their future, but I have a feeling this won't be the last I hear about them. I do have to say that this is one of Melissa's books where the main couple doesn't split up at one point or another, which was a nice change. Definitely check out this book. This has risen to my #3 favorite Melissa Foster book. You'll read about my 2nd favorite in the review in SEPTEMBER, but my all time favorite is still Tru Blue!

Sally is single mother, widowed from her high school sweetheart, who cares so much about her son and his welfare. Sally evaluates every move she makes and how it would impact her son and is grateful for her friendship with Gage, even if she does want more. Gage can think about nothing but becoming something more with his best friend, Sally.

After 5 years of friendship, not only do you wake up in the bed with the guy you've loved for years, but you find out you're married to him to. What a dream come true, or is it?
There's nothing I love better than curling up with a great romance novel and this is a great tale told by Melissa Foster.

Although I am totally new to Melissa Foster's interconnected books (see the super long list below- this book is #41!), I really enjoyed this sweet friends to lovers story. I think I might have enjoyed it more if I was more familiar with the side characters, but I still found it a satisfying read. I felt for Sally and what she had been through and appreciated her need to be be cautious about a new relationship. But Gage was quite the guy- and they had quite the chemistry. Foster writes with lots of humor and certainly a lot of heat. I am looking forward to checking out more of her work.

I have been waiting for Gage and Sally's HEA ever since they were mentioned in Duke and Gabriella's book. Once again, Melissa has managed to create a story that is both hot and incredibly sweet. Gage is entirely committed to convincing Sally that they are meant to be. Like all of Melissa's heroes, once he's in, he's all in. Sally, on the other hand, grated on my nerves a bit. As the child of a single parent, I get that initially she was afraid of how her son would feel about her moving on. However, I got to a point where I wanted to shake her and say, "Get over it already! Your son is an adult." I was very happy with the ending, however :-) I am looking forward to the new spin-off series set in Virginia!

Oh my, oh my! This book was maddening, hot, and full of love. I am pretty sure I looked like a fool with a silly love struck grin on my face.

I have always believed that best friends can make the best lovers and Sally and Gage just proved that right.

Anyone who has read previous Love in Bloom books know that Sally and Gage were meant to be.

I absolutely adored this story – Sally’s protectiveness of Rusty, her motherly instincts, Gage’s love for Sally and Rusty, and Gage’s endless romance.

Swept into Love definitely ranks up among my favorite Melissa Foster books!

Swept Into Love is my favorite book in this series. I had been waiting for Sally’s story and hoping for her to find the happiness she deserves.
Sally is a single mom who, like many parents, puts her son’s needs and wants above anything for herself. But now that her son is growing up and moving off into his own life, Sally is finding time for herself but still feeling a bit guilty and selfish about thinking of herself.
Gage has always been there as a friend, just biding his time. He longs to move their relationship past friendship without losing her as his best friend.
I’ve listened to this series on audiobook and really enjoy the great narration and I can’t wait to discover more titles by this author and narrator combination!
