Living with integrity is one the most important qualities in every minister's life. Jesus Christ modeled integrity in all that He did and said. The ethical principles He demonstrated comprise the highest and best lifestyle a person can live. These are the foundation of Christian ethics. In this book the author explains the basis of Christian ethics, and then illustrates how we can apply those ethics so as to live with integrity in every area of our lives.
I read this book as a textbook for a Christian Ethics class through Texas Bible College. It was full of interesting information as well as stories that reinforced the ethics being discussed, and oftentimes, the consequences of poor choices that the author has witnessed during his lifetime. The book isn’t super long (about 15 chapters), but it’s packed with useful knowledge and will be a great reference for the future.
This is a great book. Every chapter is full of practical principles that is easy to read and understand. I especially enjoyed one of the final chapters concerning ministerial ethics. It's a topic our generation needs to hear more about.
Excellent teaching and understanding of ethical standards for a minister, Christian, or anyone else for that matter. Worth the time to read. Much wisdom and insightful teaching.
Great book on ethics. Synapsis, treat others as you would want to be treated and you will be more ethical than most. Continue by asking what Jesus would do, follow His leading and you will walk the ethical high road!
I like the fact that it is challenging, it causes one to match his or her Christian profession with deeds. This should be read by all believers who wants to grow in Christ.
