It all begins with a locket.
A peculiar yet beautiful thing Darcie found one day in the woods. Though a stranger to Terrlyn, Darcie finds that she belongs for more than one reason. Bewildered, she navigates this wild land of magic, filled with creatures and sights she only ever dreamed about, and a destiny for herself she would never have chosen. With the aid of a handsome warrior and a mysterious magician, Darcie must overcome fear and disbelief to fulfill a prophecy that holds the last hope for the people of Terrlyn.

B. Diaz graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in English, currently works full-time and is accomplishing her dream of becoming a world traveler. Publishing this book was a dream come true, and there's nothing better than that. Except, maybe, a good cup of coffee.

If you are looking for an adventure, this book is for you. Journey along with a cast of intriguing, courageous characters who sacrifice their own safety and overcome fears as the last hope for the people of a magical kingdom. Suspense, magic, and a touch of romance (written without profanity and R-rated images) makes for a refreshing and irresistible read. I do hope there is a sequel in the works for I cannot wait to get back to Terrlyn!

This book is so intriguing! The courageous characters, the enchanting forests, and the fierce battles (no gore) will leave your heart wanting more. The book will lead you on an adventure with a touch of very clean romance. I'm hoping that there will be a sequel!

B Diaz's book is filled with wonder and possesses a freshness unlike many stories I have read. Set in NH (and the distant land of Terrlyn), the story is close to my heart, but not only that - the characters, plot, imagery, and overall structure of the story leave me wanting more. This book is exquisite, to say the least, and I look forward to journeying on many more adventures alongside this very talented writer.

This book is so well written and an awesome adventure to hop into! The main characters are so relatable. Personally, I fell in love with the budding romance, the witty humor, and the attention to detail that B. Diaz has portrayed. Her descriptive writing is what engrossed me, as the reader, into the world of Terrlyn. I cannot wait to read another one of her books. (Hopefully in the near future!)
