During this unapologetic wish fulfillment fever dream of graphic sex and tech fetishization I frequently swore to stop reading but never quite could. While the writing style is dry and the pacing is irregular there is still a great deal of charm in the matter of fact accounting of the narrator.
Unfortunately the sex gets a bit pointless and unsettling, although I get the feeling that's at least somewhat the point, and towards the end the whole thing slumps into a hurried mess.
That said, I am excited to read their next work - this book pushes a lot of boundaries and the author has potential.
