I love to party and flirt with girls, because I know they’re hungry for a piece of Hunter.
That's me. The All-star quarterback with the bad reputation.
My rule is f*cking only!
Relationships are for fools and my head’s always in the game. Football's my life, passion and nothing could ever stand in the way of getting one step ahead in my career.
Especially relationships. I see them as an unwelcome distraction. That's until the girl from back home, Alex, walks into the conference suite.
She’s going to be working for my team, The Bigs.
I resisted her seven years ago. The temptations too strong now and I can’t wait to get a taste of her p*ssy.
I bet it tastes just as sweet as apple pie. And once I have a taste, she'll have me begging for more.
I received a copy of this through InstaFreebie, so I thought I would review it. It is a quickie, in many ways. It is short and to the point. It hops straight to it...sex. Little story development or build up. Just he gets her into his hotel room, she's always been crazy for him, apparently he was in love with her too, and bam...then the 'book' is over. I wouldn't have bothered to have downloaded or opened it had I realized it was so short. I am into books with a storyline that goes through more than just in the other room and having sex. It was written okay and there was the beginnings of something there, so I have it an okay rating.
I've never read any of Alyna Amorosi's books before and if they are all this bad I probably wont be reading another. I don't care if this was just a short story, it doesn't make me rush to pick up more of her work.
Alex Richards has just landed a position as an assistant by the NFL football team, the Bigs, giving her the chance to make a name for herself. The team’s starting quarterback is Hunter Fieldman, someone she has had a crush on since high school. He knew it, she knew it, and soon everyone knows that Alex will do anything to get and hold Hunter’s attention. Where do I start? What can I say? I suppose I can start with saying this publication doesn’t deserve to be called a book and its contents don’t warrant the title of story. The first golden rule of writing is to write what you know (or at least something you have taken the time and made the effort to research it). Alyna Amorosi obviously has no idea what football or the NFL is. Players aren’t drafted out of high school and it’s not an exclusive social club. She is repetitive in her use of adjectives and the storyline is nonexistent. The book can’t be classified as a romance as it’s only action in copulation and various forms of oral and manual sex. The dialog is crude and uninspiring, as are the characters. I can honestly say that this publication has absolutely no redeeming factors. This is part of A Bad Boy Sports Romance Story Series. I can safely say that I will avoid anything to do with this series.
The writing was awful, there was NO character development and very little storyline. The only good thing about it was how short it was. I read it in like 10 minutes, so if you feel you must try it, don't pay for it.
The person who attempted to write this piece of junk knew absolutely nothing about football. What job did Alex even have with the team? Why did it take 6 months to go from the playoff game to the superbowl? And the heroines name was Alex, but when they have sex he calls her Grace. Get a proof reader, lady. Oh, and while you're at it, take a creative writing course.
This is a very short read based around two people who wanted each other in high school but couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it. Now seven years later Alex finds herself working for the nfl team hunter is a player for. The plot is quick they soon end up in bed, lots of sex and then it finishes. I would have liked more development to the story, more in depth details and in places paragraphs were repeated and he called her Grace at one point which didn't make sense. Had this story been longer and given more background I would have given it a higher score.
This was a very quick read with very bad editing. The errors in the story really effected the flow. There is no character development at all and it just seems all about the sex they are having. This couple are supposed to be drawn to one another because of unrequited love from 7 years ago. Maybe if the characters were developed more and this was explored in a longer format this might work, but here it fails badly for me.
Downloaded this short read for free, it was ok, especially since it was free. Definitely not as good as the Bedroom Contract by this same author. . It does jump straight to the sex which was ok except he called her Grace, and her name was Alex..if Grace was her middle name it was never mentioned any other time so that was off. Also, 6 months between playoffs and superbowl is not how football works so it needed some work, but also not the worst thing I have read.
The short storyline in concept was OK. It was mostly about the sex and very little about the characters other than they have wanted each other since high school.
There were too many printing errors, reruns on several paragraphs, the wrong pronouns for characters and he called her by the wrong name at least once. I was disappointed that this "finished" product was released to the public.
I have read 319 other titles this year, and this was far and away the worst. The writing was childish and mostly an excuse to use the F-word in as many ways as possible. The paragraphs seemed to have been tossed in the air and pasted in as they landed, no order at all. And forget about correct grammar usage. The best thing about this story was the cover. Zero stars
Wow talk about short, sweet and to the point! Got to give it 4 stars because in this very short little story it covered practically everything that takes pages and pages in some stories! LOLm it was an enjoyable read
This very quick steamy read was the story of unrequited high school crushes. It was pretty much one scene carried on through a few short chapters. I wish there had been a little more to the story.
The book didn't take enough time to get to know the characters. Within 2 pages they were already having sex. Not a lot of depth and too short of a story.
this novella was okay but the version I read could use some editing. In chapter 2 there are several paragraphs that appear twice making it awkward to read.
I don't mind short stories even those that pretty much go for the "gold" right away, but this one had me disappointed. There are so many errors and mistakes - it seriously needed an editor!
I got this on instaFreebie and wanted to review it. It was an interesting premise but the execution wasn't well done. It was a quickie but it felt like it jumped in in the middle of story and skipped a little more after that. There were some glaring editing issues and overall it needs a fair amount of work to bring it to its full potential.
Great bones to be rewritten into a longer story. It was great but rushed through, would have loved to have their past written out so see what these two were like in high school. And also who her losing her job due to a scored NFL receiver that couldn't get the first and rated on her and Hunter.
