Dirty Indiscretions was the first book in the Omerta series by Roxie Sinclair. It was also the first book I've read by Sinclair.

Luke Bable was the hitman for the head of an Italian US Mafia. He was focused on a secret goal. He was loyal, quiet and mysterious.

Elda Abba was the illegitimate daughter of a man that tried to kill her before she was born. She was set on revenge.

The two met in a crowded room and were instantly drawn together. They knew they had secrets but accepted the connection for what it was. The scenes were hot and explicit. The relationship development was built around the underlying theme; which was a suspenseful saga. Sinclair kept us guessing on exactly what would happen next within the mafia world and the revenge plans. The relationship became the secondary plot.

I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and storyline; however, I craved more. I desired more emotion from both Luke and Elda. I felt the potential and almost felt it but couldn't completely grasp the feeling they were eluding. I was on the verge. With that said, I still enjoyed them tremendously. I would love a follow up Novella with more depth and emotion.

All in all, it was a quick and entertaining read. I look forward to reading more from Sinclair.

The story was good but was way too rushed for me. I really loved both the H and the h. Their relationship was INSTANT BUT HOT!!!!!! LOVED that first encounter, lol. I would have liked to see their story develop a bit slower so I could really get to know them and see them develop a bit slower BUT for a fast paced, insta love/lust, it was good!

The Epilogue, I have to be honest, disappointed me, I wanted SO MUCH MORE!!!!!!!!!! But all in all, a fast read and likable characters:)

Elda is a hitwoman who's got a score to settle with mafia boss Greco, he's her biological father although he never raised her, she wants him dead. She was conceived when Greco had an affair with her mother & when he found out about the pregnancy, he wanted her dead but she died while giving birth to Elda. Luke has been a hitman for 5 yrs for Greco and his family. Lately something's off because his hits have been harder than usual. He thinks he's been followed or somebody's leaking info to those on his hitlist, which puts him in danger & his boss doesn't seem to care. Luka meets Elda at Greco's son's wedding & at first something seems off about her, but as the night progresses they end up for a steamy night of sex in Luka's room. What will happen next? Will they both go through with their "jobs"? I love a good mafia story & this one definitely doesn't let down. It's got a mixture of sex, betrayal & all the things you suspect a mafia story must have. As always when Roxy Sinclaire & Penelope Marshall come together for a book, you end up with this excellence!

Whew! This book sure does get right to the hot stuff! This book features quite a few sexy times, which I think the author did a great job of writing. I appreciate this book for what it is, which is a book that doesn't dig too deep emotionally, but provides an entertaining, quick read. I really enjoyed the storyline, and would've loved for there to be more complexities to the story, and I almost gave this book a 3, but then I realized that this book delivered on what it intended, and that's to be a steamy read with a bit of backstory and plot, and I found that I quite enjoyed this read. The relationship between Luke and Elda was exciting, and I enjoyed both of them as characters; both are strong, independent characters, and I liked the connection that they build together. I do wish there were more of an epilogue, and some parts in the last chapters felt unnecessary, and the conflict was resolved way too quickly, and I would've loved for there to be a bit more suspense on that front. I liked that mafia aspect, but it felt a bit tame, and since this book says it's a dark romance, I was expecting a bit more darkness, but that I suppose is subjective. I listened to the audiobook version of this story, and the narrators did a pretty good job. The male narrator has a really nice voice, and the only thing that was a little weird was the Italian accent, but otherwise, he did great. The female narrator also had a nice voice, and I enjoyed her parts in the story. This book has wonderful sex scenes, interesting characters, and entertained me the whole time.

I like mafia/hitmen type stories so I was excited to read this one. It was pretty entertaining (although a tad slow at times and needed more explanation) but overall I enjoyed the story of Luke and Elda and how they met, got it on and became a team to be reckoned with.
I felt like we needed a bit more at the end...it ended a bit abruptly and left me with questions about the safety of their future...but if you like a quick mob hitman read, this one is for you.

Mafia romance is such a fun read and Roxy Sinclaire brings us a delicious, short, dark story. Luke and Elda have a fast paced romance, and their encounters are incredibly HOT! I do wish it was a little longer and the two characters had a little more time to get to know each other. Their meetings were quick and felt a little rushed. The story isn't too dark, but does have the Italian mafia feel to it. Luke is a hitman for Greco and he meets Elda at a party Greco is holding. The question comes immediately, who is she and what is she doing there? Things are not always what they appear, and it takes Luke some time to put together who Elda is and will he ever see her again. Together their broken pasts are set straight and they begin to heal. The epilogue was a little quick, it would be nice to see the couple show up in another book to see how they progress.

Piper Fairweather and Wade Vassey narrate this book. I really enjoyed both of their voices, though Wade does not have the best female Italian accent for Elda. The two are well paced and have a good range of character voices making the narration fun to listen to.

Dirty Indiscretions is another sexy read by Roxy Sinclaire. This time around she's taken on the dark world of the mafia. Elda is a hit woman who has a specific target as her end game: Greco, mafia boss. She has her reasons, and they're pretty good ones. While on an info gathering mission at a wedding, she meets Luke, one of Greco's elite hitmen. They have a couple steamy encounters at the wedding, then go their separate ways.

When Elda gets information about a hit being put out on Luke, she knows she has to warn him. Not just because it will get her closer to Greco, but because she hasn't been able to get Luke out of her mind since their encounters at the wedding. When she meets up with him again and warns him, action ensues, and more sexy romps. Luke and Elda are perfect for each other, they've had hard lives, they've killed people, who else would be a better partner than a fellow hit (wo)man?

If you like mafia and/or action with your hot love stories, pick up Dirty Indiscretions.

Dark Romance at its Best

My first read of a Roxy Sinclaire book. It kept me gripped from the very first page. Full of intrigue, suspense, twist and turns you don’t expect! Really well written storyline with great depth to the two main characters. Luke Bable hitman for the Greco crime family, meets Elda Abba at the wedding of Greco’s son on their fortress of an island. Luke was suspicious of Elda from the very start. Elda was up to no good! Little did he know she was also on a mission to kill Greco! Elda is a mystery to Luke! Will Aldi’s mission go awry? Will Luke’s mission to kill The General be successful? Both Luke and Elda have very dark pasts and revenge is all they can think of! Absolutely brilliant read that I have to highly recommend to all Dark Romance readers. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

Dirty indiscretion was a fab book, this just started off from the first page and you didn't want to put it down. I live the way Roxy Sinclaire and Penelope Marshall write together it just seems to flow and really keeps you interested.

I loved the story line in this book, it was different and ;you did want to put it down, I needed to know who this story would end.

Elda was such a strong female character and nothing was going to get in her way until her job was finished and she was smart and calculating and you don't find that with many female main characters

Luke was a great male character ex-army, and just working a job so that it would lead to the one person he wanted dead. He was a great character and loved learning about his past.

The chemistry between these two characters was so evident from the first chapter and it kept you hooked.

Great story, if you’re looking for something, hot, sexy, mafia, great chemistry then you need to get this book.

This is a great dark mafia romance where we get to meet Elda and Luke. Elda grew up believing who her family was, went to college and was a good girl and on her 21st birthday her world comes crashing down. Her one goal for the next several years is to learn a new way of life to get the revenge she believes she is due. While crashing the wedding of Mafia Boss, Greco she is seen by Luke who happens to be security for Greco. Luke is an ex-IRA trained military man who left and was being hunted by the “General” and becomes a loyal hit an for Greco. When Luke meets Elda they have an explosive connection that never goes away. Greco and the General are both evil men and want nothing but to cause harm. Elda and Luke both want their revenge against those who have gone against them for pure evilness. Once they decide to work together do they have the chance to get away from danger! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I am a blood daughter of a mob boss my name is Elda and my mother had met him and got pregnant and found out he was married and he wanted to kill her so she went into hiding and died having me and I am getting my revenge and killing him I am trained to kill but I met Luke and had a awesome one night of sex in the closet oh boy am I in trouble I want Luke but I am going to kill Greco was my father this was a wonderful read loved the dark and sexy book exciting and panty melting too. Good story, dragged on too long

The basis of the story was good, though things we learn from the blurb aren't disclosed in the book until the main story is complete, and the overall story could have been fleshed out quite a bit. And that's the big problem... the main story is done when you're only about 60-70% done. The rest of the book was ridiculous and unnecessary, and the only reason I continued to read it is because I expected more of the main storyline to be brought into play.

It had great potential, but missed the mark for a truly amazing book, in my opinion.

Luke is a hit man for Greco after serving under the General in the military. He soon meets Elda. They hit it off with lots of chemistry. Luke soon realizes Elda isn’t just some average woman but it doesn’t halt his advances. If anything, it makes him want her even more. Elda has a connection with Luke and warns him about a hit on him which allows him to get the upper hand. Things turn out well for the two. I thought this was an okay read. I was thrown off during some paragraph but I think it was the wording. I liked the storyline and both characters.

Luke is a hitman working for the mafia. He took the job so that he could fund his mission of exacting revenge against his former commanding office in the military. Elda is a freelance hitwoman out to seek revenge on her father (aka mafia boss). Elda uses Luke to try to further her mission along, but what she doesn't factor in is falling for him.

Just an okay read for me. The entire story just felt really rushed, and not at all believable.

Their chance meeting, their dire circumstances, the immediate pull they felt for each other made for a great read! The ending left an opening for a sequel (hopefully) that I look forward to! A very engaging and steamy read that pulls you from start to finish with an intense and gripping story line that is just mind blowing. Strong and courageous characters that make you believe in their struggles and their life. Fast paced action and intrigue and hot sexy chemistry that burns up the pages and leave you wanting more. The story of Elda and Luke comes from a unique view point that they are both hired to kill people. The book takes you on a journey that both the main characters come from different angles and places, but with a similar goal. This book was so good. Luke had worked for Greco for years but things weren't quite right. Luke was on duty at a party on Greg's island & he see's a woman who's he would like to know better. Her name is Elsa. They are perfect for each other. This author sure knows how to write good books. Thanks.

Tantalizing

Five star read for anyone who likes mafia intrigue. Luke and Elda are quick to hold your interest, as they can't resist each other. Their life appears too easy until the epilogue. You knew there had to be a twist.

Wonderful

Left me in suspense the whole time. The ending kind of changed it for me but I think all in all it was a great read. Luke and Elda were fire from the beginning. Separating them and bring them back was like setting gas to the fire again.
