This book was pretty interesting to read and I loved the dark and creepy look of the cover. I'm always sucker for paranormal reads filled with mystery that needs to be unveiled. Though I enjoyed reading this book, it does have its pros and cons. When I first saw the title, I thought it had something to do with searching for someone who's gone missing mysteriously but when I finally got into it, I've got something else. The story gave huge vibes of twilight which didn't bother me much but it would be if you're anti-twilight fan. The characters are nothing impressive but they aren't bad either.

The story follows sixteen year old Echo Navarri who's the daughter of the famous archaeologists Alice and Peter Navarri. Due to her parents professions she was constantly travelling from one place to another. Echo also has a twin sister named Midnight who is quite adventurous like her parents and meant to follow her parents footsteps. During an expedition, her sister goes missing in a fog which leaves her whole family devastated. After years of searching they finally lose hope and Echo who was with her at the time of accident feels guilty that she should've done something. One year later, Echo's parents decides to send her to Navarri Estate at Port Royal where her aunt Luna lives who is also the caretaker of the estate. The Navarri's and Vega's are the founders of the port royal and during her time at the town, her paths crosses with the enigmatic Thorn Vega, descendant of the other founders family. Her Aunt warned her to stay away from vega's but something about Thorn makes her feel drawn to him. When she tries to learn more about Thorn, she discovers the mysteries surrounding Port Royal and introduced to a supernatural world that she never believed existed.

I liked Echo but I can't say she was a strong protagonist. She reminded me so much of bella from twilight. She loves reading books with paranormal creatures like vampires, angels, fairies etc., but she doesn't believe that they actually exist. Thorn is a conflicted character just like Edward but there's some minor differences between them. He is dark, mysterious, charming, and oh, so sexy! The romance between Echo and Thorn is quite twiligh-tish and I pretty much hated the insta-love. However, I grew to like their relationship because I love forbidden angsty romances and I really want to know how their relationship develops further. The secondary characters aren't memorable enough to describe but I liked Echo's aunt Lucy, and her witchy friends.

The plot was engaging but there are some parts that left me bored and confusing. Though it has it's own unique factors, the whole story felt like a twilight retelling. I loved Twilight but I really can't help rolling my eyes whenever there's a dramatic scene that reminded me of that book. Sometimes it was easy to predict what's gonna happen next. The mystery surrounding the veil and the mysterious creatures living in the woods are the only aspects that grabbed my interest till the end. The pacing of the book is slow in the first half and it only improves in the second half. The whole book was told in Echo's POV. I liked the writing style of the author which is a total perfection and easy to understand.

Overall, I liked it! Despite the plot being unoriginal, I found myself enjoying it. The book finally concluded with a cliffhanger leaving so many questions unanswered and I might read the sequel just to find out what happens next.

So I have really mixed feelings about this book. The beginning of the book started very interesting where Echo and her sister are on some crazy jungle quest with their parents until her twin sister falls off a cliffs edge and is presumed dead. Echo has shit parents who dump her on an aunt in their hometown, a place Echo has never lived in since her birth. Once she starts school however everything went to downhill for me. Echo became sadly obsessed with Thorn, an asshole of a guy and what was meant to be insta love came off as juvenile and outrageous. Echo was whiny, clingy and I hated it. Where was the strong yet depressed heroine we met in the beginning. The one who never bothered to look at a guy and now is in love after an awkward meetup or two. Everything was super cheesy and desperate like one point when echo flips out on him about him only liking her for a prank in the cemetary. It was all just so lame and unbelievable, the scene came off very insincerely. Even worse are her constant and childish paranormal denials that just come off wrong because you know that’s exactly where the story is going.... Halfway through and all I could think was how this reminded me of Twilight. It was so reminiscent I’d be hard pressed to say this isn’t fan fiction 100%. I struggled at this point with putting the book down I was just so frustrated. It only got worse as things went on because Echo was so dense to the world around her. It’s like she’s oblivious to everything that isn’t Thorn related whereas he is so dense and circumspect. It wasn’t even funny when the heroine is actually watching Twilight and Thorn shows up. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ Finally the final 25% of the book and things started to evolve. Thorn ‘breaks up’ with her, she finds out about magic oh and Thorn’s engaged to some random chick and also a vampire. The last was really no surprise but I was hoping the backbone that started to reappear in the heroine after he broke her heart the first time would push her to stop fawning over him and treat him the way her treats her. Alas, after he rescues her and her aunt she’s back to it and I hated it. It’s funny because I was thinking he made a good point when he told her they barely knew each other long enough to feel anything because it was true, they really spend barely any time together. I don’t know, the story did kind of branch into its own thing toward the end and I’m mildly curious where it will go from here. Most importantly I want to know how and when this evolves into a RH because all we have as of now is one barely tolerable engaged vampire-Thorn has a long way to go to win me over-and I’m eager for Echo to give the asshat some competition if anything. Hopefully secrets and truths can finally all come to light and Echo can begin to deal with her connection to it all in the next book. Obviously she’s part of a witching family and I know her dreams mean something as well but as for what, time will tell.

Reviewed on behalf of 2 Girls Who Love Books Blog
I don’t really know how to write this review. I expected a lot from the blurb. Really, it made such an impression on me that I wanted – no needed – to read this book. But – unfortunately – after the first chapters I became utterly disappointed.
It started great. The twin sister missing in a mysterious fog that may or may not be traced to vampires and the surviving twin struggling with her sister’s death (I mean who wouldn’t struggle?). To cope she moves to her aunt in a small town where her family somehow is royalty, but seems more like the outcast sister of the real royals.
And this is where everything started to become strange. A lot of new plotlines were opened and none of it was thought through. You get bits and pieces and more bits of the pieces, but nothing really makes sense. Throw in the mysterious good looking heir of the other royal family and that was the first time I thought I knew the story. And it went on and on, I don’t want to spoiler here, but in the end after the book was finished I found myself thinking that I knew everything that happened. Nothing surprised me and after sleeping over the plot and everything I KNEW why… The whole plot was eerily similar to Twilight. It was not an exact replica, but too many things were the same to be a coincidence.
In the end I just wanted to get a solution, but not even that was granted: The book ends on a real bad cliffhanger that made me question the time I invested. Seriously. It was as if the author just stopped writing and sent the book out.
I give two stars for this book, because I think it had potential in the beginning and I liked the writing style.

13 Ways to Midnight by Rue Volley

When Echo Navarri looses her sister her world begins to fall apart. Feeling that a change might be good for Echo her parents send her to live with her Aunt on the family estate. It is the first time for many changes in Echo's life attending school for the first time, living away from her family, and being without her sister. Now she finds herself in a mansion full of secrets in a town filled with even more and a young man that opens up a whole new world of feelings. All almost normal but these secrets will open up more supernatural secrets that Echo ever imagined existed. In this new YA series by Rue Volley I found myself enthralled with the characters and loving all the details. I can't wait for more of the The Midnight Saga stories.

2 stars.

I hated this book just as much as I loved it.

The first half, was a jumbled up mess. It started off nicely, than took off on a boring and cliché-like path. I live in Romania so this whole vampire story just makes me roll my eyes. I felt like this book wanted to be a bad copy of Twilight, and not even Twilight was exceptionally good. This "love" Echo and Thorn had was really annoying me, her being so attached to him even though he did NOTHING in the world to accomplish that. He was just rich, handsome and misterious, and she actually needed a distraction from Midnight. Actually, not a relationship from the book made sense to me, Echo and her family were as distant as they could be, I didn't really feel sorry for Midnight as I hated her from the start, along with all the characters from the book, and there was Thorn's messed up relationship with his family, and Luna's relationship with James, and Mattie abandoning Echo when she found herself a girlfriend and Daniel just always being a third wheel... I don't know, I just feel like there was no true connection between the characters nor the reader and the characters. Besides these things, the ending of the book was just too fast, Echo was behaving like she saw dead people trying to kill her aunt everydamnday, and the fact that Thorn has fangs was so exciting for her I thought the next line will be: Echo peed her pants from excitement. Annoying.

But actually I liked the idea of the book and I have to say that the ending intrigued me. I was really curious about everything I didn't know, so after all the things I hated, I read on. And at the end I was expecting to find out at least some of the things brought up in the book, but I didn't.

So with a huge dissapointment and a million questions in my heart I have to say: I don't think I will go on with this series.

What the ever loving [____] just happened??? I’m seriously screwed up over here!!! Even my tears are confused. My head is all over the place. My feelings are all mixed up and make no sense. I have a serious book-hangover and need to dive straight into book 2, but I need to get this off my chest first, or I’ll end up more confused and won’t be able to come back later and write a review.
Where to start? Jeez. I just don’t know! I’m sat here furiously tapping the side of my kindle, wanting there to be more pages, but there isn’t. I don’t EVER remember feeling this messed up at the end of a book.

First things first, let me get this out of the way; I don’t read PNR anymore. Haven’t since about 2014. I went off vampires, werewolves and what have you quite rapidly. I haven’t read a YA book for a while either, come to think about it. I don’t like sparkly vampires and all that jazz. I’ve been reading NA Contemporary Romance for a long time now and didn’t think I’d ever pick up another PNR book. But... I was WRONG!
I’ve heard tons of great stuff about Rue Volley and her writing, but it was a genre I was no longer enamoured with. Now I am questioning why I was such a moron and didn’t pick these books up sooner. Rue hasn’t made me fall in love with the genre in general, but she’s made me fall in love with her. Her quirky writing style. Her characters. Love them or loathe them, her characters are intriguing. I’m sitting here wondering how she did it. How on earth did she spin me on my axis so hard that I don’t know up from down, left from right??? She’s twisted, dark, humorous, clever, cunning... If I had an ounce of her talent, I would be happy as a pig in muck, because she is über-talented, amazing and gives a girl all the feels! She knocked the wind right out of me.

Thorn Vega is a mystery, wrapped in an enigma. He’s infuriating, intriguing, beguiling, and a whole lot more. Typical spoiled rich kid thinks he can pick girls up and then discard them like trash two seconds later. But then, he’d never met someone like Echo Midnight Navarri.
Echo is a lost lamb. She’s packed off to live with her aunt after the heartbreaking business with her sister. She doesn’t know what it’s like to live in the world of Hawthorn Vega. The world of the spoiled and rich or the...well, the “other” world he inhabits.
She’s intrigued by him. He sparks something in her that she’s never felt before and it makes her do things she never thought she would. He saves her. He tells her not to want him. She shouldn’t care about him. She’ll only get hurt. But Echo doesn’t heed his warnings. Instead, she’s like a moth who’s inexplicably drawn to a flame. And if she gets too close, he’ll burn her. Or maybe he’ll pull the wings off the moth and leave her in a crumpled heap on the ground. He’s not right for her. But he is oh SO right for her.

This story has me held captive. I’m under the authors spell. She can do what she wants to me. I’m like a moth drawn to the flame, knowing I’ll get hurt, but following my instincts nonetheless. I am embroiled in this story and I don’t want to untangle the web that Rue weaves around me. Like it or not, I’m in this for the long haul. And knowing there are to be 13 books in the series, I know she’s far from finished pulling my heart in a million directions. I’ll probably look back at my reviews one day and laugh at my own naïveté.

With careful planning, a well executed story and a cast of amazing characters, I can’t help but love this book. I can’t wait to see where it goes next. It’s like a roller coaster; there are highs, there are lows, there are twists and turns you don’t see coming and it all culminates to make you feel... well, however it is I’m feeling right now. Confused is one word. But also like I’m at the top of the roller coaster, teetering on the brink of a downward spiral or maybe just a sharp drop, waiting for it to lift me back up again, lulling me into a false sense of security. I can’t see an end in sight, but I do love a good adventure.

What more is there to say? I say, bring it on, Rue Volley. I’m as ready as I’ll ever be, whilst being as unprepared as anyone can be, at the same time!

This is not the first book by Rue Volley that I have read, but this one was certainly different from others that I have read before. Straying away from her normally more adult offerings this is a YA tale, but it has the classic Rue Volley darkness with that unmistakable snarky undertone from it's lead character that I appreciate. What would appear to be a run of the mill YA story dealing with the loss of a twin, takes a fantastic paranormal turn, and although this can be read as a stand alone there are hopefully more Echo adventures to come.

5 Stars from me!

Well this was right up my alley, cheesy with lots of twists. I loved Aunt Luna and that final scene had me laughing so hard. I liked the world and the characters. they was a very big twilight feel throughout the whole book. Echo is the typical teenager in love and Thorn is the mysterious male soon to be boyfriend.

Sixteen-year-old Echo doesn’t believe in the vampires she reads about, and the only boys she really likes are the ones in books. Her twin sister, Midnight, is her exact opposite. One night while with their parents on an archeological dig in Brazil, Midnight slips off a cliff—most likely to her death, though the body isn’t found. Echo is sent to her aunt in Maine, where she’s enrolled in a private school. But the thing is, maybe vampires and the other supernatural creatures Echo admires in books might be real. And how drawn to Thorn she feels, though she fears he might be one of the beings she used to not believe in.

Echo is trying to find her way in a new universe, one in which her beloved sister no longer appears and one in which she feels what could be a fatal attraction. Rue Volley writes very well: here, for the YA set—and an admiring reader has to like the Twilight take on the vampire genre, and not the traditional Dracula view that the undead are evil and must be hunted down and destroyed. If the Twilight romanticism is good for the (young) reader then 13 Ways…works well in its darkness

After reading a lot of positive reviews for this, I was excited to start!! But I'm baffled as to how bored I was with it!! I expected a fast paced, engaging read and what I got was a book that basically focused on a teen romance with a vampire. It had echoes of Twilight as well.

So the book focuses on Echo Navarri, daughter of famous archaeologists Alice and Peter Navarri. On a dig with them, her twin, Midnight, goes missing without a trace and Echo is devastated. After a fruitless search, Echo's parents send her home to her aunt. There Echo meets Thorn Vega, a mysterious boy who she feels drawn to. As she dig deeper into who he is, she is drawn into a world she never knew existed.

I didn't particularly like Echo. She was so..... boring maybe. I don't know!! I wanted her to be more proactive and less like she was. I have to say that I hated the insta love/connection she felt for Thorn. It was just so... ugh and overdone. I didn't care whether they got together or not.

While reading, I felt like maybe I dozed off or something, because a lot of the time I was confused as to what was happening and had no clue what was going on, so I pressed back on the audio only to realise that I hadn't missed anything. It was just written like that! It felt very disjointed at times and honestly, at that point I didn't care for the story or the characters to go back and try to immerse myself again. Maybe it was just me, but I found it to be boring and predictable and not something I would read again.

Sarah Puckett read it well. She was clear and easy to listen to and had a few tones and voices for the characters.

I was voluntarily provided this free copy by the author, narrator, or publisher. This in no way affected nor influenced my thoughts.

Echo's world is turned around when her twin sister, Midnight dies in a horrific way. After the mysterious death of her twin, Echo moves back to her hometown, Port Royal, Maine. Surrounded by grief, Echo tries to live a normal life after her twin's death; but the town has different plans for her.

This is the first book that I've read by Rue Volley and I can honestly say that I loved it. I only read Young Adult books and Rue captured all the genre's that I love most. I am excited for book two.

Not only was the relationship in this book so incredibly toxic and problematic, but this book needed an editor so badly. Things jumped around without making sense. There were a lot of errors as well. For example, one page said that Echo got 5 stitches. A page or two later, it talked about her having 3 stitches. Also, the ending of the book made me roll my eyes. I wanted to throw something because it was so dumb. I bought the rest of the books because I wanted to support the author, but I don't think I'll be reading them.

With all sorts of things lurking in the shadows and heart-wrenching moments, this is a nicely woven read.

Echo's lived her life in constant movement with her twin sister, Midnight, thanks to the fact that their parents are famous archaeologists. When an accident leaves Midnight dead, Echo heads back to the town where she was born to stay with her aunt until she can regain footing after the tragedy. Not only does she have to handle the whole idea of actually attending a normal school, but soon finds herself attracted to the mysterious and rich, Thorn. With strange things happening in the forest and people tip toeing around as if trying to keep something a secret, Echo soon finds herself in a much darker and creepy place than she ever dreamed to be.

I picked this one up after reading the blurb and the reviews, and am not sure what I thought of it. The writing is solid. It's easy to get lost in the world and fall into each scene without thought. The places, people and happenings draw in without a hiccup or stumble. The dialogue is very fitting for the age group and flows naturally. The exchanges are sharp, witty and a treat to read. Even the pacing is well done and doesn't leave time to get bored. As to Echo, she's a lovely character full of hurt, spunk, curiosity and drive. She's the kind of girl you want to hug but know that she's really capable of pulling her way through. But despite all of this goodness. . .and there is a lot of it. . .the book lost my interest and had me simply reading my way to the end about halfway through.

I think one thing that bothered me was Thorn. He stares constantly from the sidelines for many, many chapters, and that felt repetitive. His two groupy girls also took a long time to warm up with any importance or drawing much feeling. As to Daniel. . .well, his character just came across flat for the longest time, although he could have been so cute. The constant cloud of mystery in the background definitely raises tension, but it didn't lure me in with a convincing mystery. Perhaps, it was my mood or perhaps, I was expecting more, but in any case, I couldn't love this book as much as I hoped I could. But then, I can't say it is a 'bad' read either, since there is so much to love about it too.

So I'm sitting on the fence with this one at three stars and am sure there are many dark paranormal romance fans who will be thrilled to dive into this book.

Rue has construed a magnificent book in "13 Ways To Midnight". After reading the first few pages, I was immediately hooked into this unusual, paranormal world. As I continued to read Rue's book, I was not only surprised, but very excited to have this book in my hands. Echo takes us on numerous twists and turns and I never knew where she would end up next.
Echo slowly revealed us her life, her parents' lives, and her aunt, who I loved upon first visit, for us that is. Echo is a normal girl with normal problems and that is why I fell deeply in love with Echo and her world. Here is a young teenage girl with such a wide view of the world because she traveled with her parents most of her life. I truly believe Echo is going to surprise you once you pick up this book and begin reading.
I know there will be a second book, and I am looking forward to reading it.

I really loved this book I am looking forward to reading more of the series the last bit pushed my rating up the ending made the whole story worth it. I really liked the characters especially Echo and Thorn and Mattie she made a wonderful friend as for Thorn he grew on me I liked him more by the end. What I really liked about Echo she is a wonderfully flawed character she has so many layers and that makes her interesting to read about. I really liked the plot it kicked off after the prologue with Echo losing her twin sister so she went to live with her Aunt to get away from the memories she learns many interesting things along the way. So overall I really liked this book I will read more of the series soon.

Wow, that pretty much sums it up, but I will elaborate.
At first I was thrown off by a extremely similar sentence from another vampire book, and some of the same circumstances. However, I got into the story so much so that it stopped bothering me.
The differences from the other book, made this one so much more compelling. I sincerely believe Stephanie Meyer finally has some real competition with 13 Ways.
I bought this on kindle, but will for sure, be getting a paperback copy for my library. It is THAT good.
Way to go Rue Volley!

It has been a long time since I've fallen in love with characters so thoroughly. There is no waiting, Rue Volley hooks you from the beginning and keeps you wanting more. A book I was unable to put down and devoured just as Echo devoured her hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows. As an added bonus, humor was delightfully and artfully woven in through the interactions between her characters. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

13 Ways to Midnight is a young adult novel(although this Grandma enjoyed it very much)which says a lot about Rue Volley and her writing skills.
13 Ways to Midnight is the tale of twin sisters Midnight and Echo Navarri. The girls have been raised travelling the world with their parents who are famous archeologists. It is during one such expedition in Brazil that Midnight dies, her body never found.
Echo, still reeling from the death of her twin almost a year later, finds herself thrust into a new life.
Her parents in an effort to cure her melancholy and nightmares of that terrible night, send her back to her place of birth Port Royal, Maine. A place she's only been back to once since she was born.
Now she has to live with her Aunt Luna at the family estate and go to High School after being homeschooled for most of her sixteen years. In a town where nothing is as it seems...where the kids she meets including the boy who is sneaking into her heart aren't what they seem...where even her Aunt isn't who she seems.

Rue Volley worked her magic yet again by weaving a suspenseful tale where she keeps the reader guessing with every page turn. The reader finds themselves asking "Is he?" "Are they?".
You think you have the plot figured out and then you realize you didn't. Brilliant!
I can't wait to see where Rue Volley takes this series.

Good Very Good

Twins Echo and Midnight are as different as night and day. Their parents were famous archeologists. Looking into mysteries to try and prove them true. Midnight worked beside them while Echo read vampire romances. Everything was business as usual until Midnight disappeared. After a year Echo is sent to live with her aunt Luna in Port Royal. Here she learns that her family and the Vega family are the founders of a town that is not what it seems. But neither is Aunt Luna and Echo's crush.

What an amazing young adult story. Rue Volley never ceases to amaze me. Older teens can relate to this story in a sense. But being a GrandMother, I enjoyed it just as much. She had me crying in the beginning and different places throughout the book. Then I was trying to put the mystery together. She threw some fast balls mixed with supper curve balls. I did a few OMG and I never saw that coming too. Rue Volley is very talented and with each book she writes, her talent changes to fit that story for that book. I love that about her and her work, each story is uneek.
Just think being a teenage girl traveling the world with your parents and twin sister. Your twin is just like your parents, enjoys digging in the dirt. But you have no use for it and feel like you really don't belong. (If my theory is right, she doesn't belong to them, but time will tell if I'm right) Tragedy hits and your parents send you to Point Royal to live with your Dad's Sister and finish your last two years in a school, instead of being home schooled.
New town, where everybody knows who you are, but you don't know them. New school, where you are not in the front door 5 minutes and two girls are making fun of you. You fall for the hottest guy in school, only to run into all kinds of trouble. You make a few new friends, that are by your side no matter what. And you find out things about your Aunt and your family that you never knew. Being a teen sucks! Or does it?
You will find that the story sucks you in wanting more and more and more. You feel all the emotions of the characters and can place yourself in the story. Mystery, Life and Death, Paranormal, Edge of your seat, page turning I need to see what's next, surprises. Then to be left hanging at the end. Boy I sure hope Rue Volley hurries up and finishes the next book, I need to see if I'm right. LOL

I don't even know where to start with this review. I love all of Rue's books that I have read. This one is no different. Just like in her other books, you will be wondering just what the heck is really going on. You will be a little confused. But that's a good thing. I can never figure out just where she is going with her stories. That's what I love the most about them.

There is a Twilight feel to this book. So if you loved Twilight, you should really read this.

This is a YA read. So don't expect the steamy scenes we love in Rue's other works.

I did like Echo. She is only sixteen and seventeen in this book. And Rue did a good job at writing her as that age.

There is a lot going on and I don't want to give anything away. I want everyone to be left wondering and confused like me.

This is a great read and I can't wait to read the rest of this series.

I do have some theories, but I'm probably wrong about them.

Oh yea and I'm team Daniel.

OUTSTANDING!!
Like a master at her craft Rue Volley is able to slowly draw you in and hold you captive in the world she has created with in the pages of her books. 13 Ways To Midnight was excatly that kind of book for me. Before I knew what was happening I found myself lost in the pages of Echo's story. Once I had reached the end I knew that I had experienced a gem of a storyline full of wonderful characters, suspense, heartcahe, love, curiosity, and adventure. You can tell that Rue poured her heart and soul into creating this world for us. Job very well done!! I must know what happens next!!! A definite MUST READ!

* I volunteered to read an ARC copy of 13 Ways To Midnight in exchange for an honest review.*

This was an emotional read for me, feeling the emotions of Echo as Rue sent us on her journey. Rue has a way of pulling the reader into the story. She is truly talented in her writings. One that I will re-read time and time again.

From the beginning, I was in tears. Feeling Echo's loss, love and in ways rejection. To have a closeness with family only to loose it through tragedy. I'm not sure how to write this out without giving away spoilers. You will just have to follow Echo's journey to find out for yourselves. All I can say is that you will absolutely love this story! A story that will have you at the edge of your seat, trying to read as fast as you can to see what will happen next.

13 Ways to Midnight (The Midnight Saga) by Rue Volley is an intriguing story about a young girl who loses her twin sister.

Echo and Midnight travel the world with their parents, famous archeologists. Midnight has always been the adventurous one. She is lost late one night when the girls explore the Brazilian jungle surrounding their parents latest dig.

Echo doesn't seem to recover from her twins loss, and her parents send her to live with her Aunt in Port Royal, Maine. Echo's adventure begins; strange things start occurring almost immediately.

Rue Volley keeps us wondering until the very end just who or what everyone Echo encounters is. But who are the good guys, and who the bad? I want more...

I am so in love with this story. It is so much of what I have been waiting for and did not think I would ever find again. Strange happenings. Things that are not as they seem. Witches, vampires, demons and things in the forest and jungle you didn't know were there. When Echo loses her twin sister in the jungle she has a huge empty space in her life. She moves to the family estate back in the US and finds new friends and frenemies who help fill that space. One totally changes her emotions and tears her heart apart and yet she cant be without him. Thorn. He does everything he can to make her fall for him. When she does her whole world changes.
