Jaguar Justice

Rate this book
Clinging to the hope Dr. Daphne Wells can help his teammate and former lover, Malcolm kidnaps the doctor and brings her to Sanctuary. Once she realizes how the black ops group subverted her research, she is eager to help reverse the effects, if she can. While she studies the artificial intelligence systems, Malcolm and the rest of the team set about systematically destroying all traces of Project Shift and Project Enhanced. When they learn of a group of private investors starting their own version of Project Enhanced, they have a new enemy to destroy. It's definitely the wrong time to have his jaguar insist the scientist is their mate. He can't claim her while their lives are at risk-but is life worth living without her?

Jaguar Justice by Kit Fawkes ***** A good read!
Malcolm kidnaps Daphne, kicking and screaming, to get her help. Daphne subsequently gets on board to help, once she understands the horrendous situation. There's danger and death in this story, but the good guy characters are well developed and likable. Malcom & Daphne's relationship is heartwarming with a HEA, and the sex doesn't overwhelm the storyline. Disclosure: I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

A quick read which I enjoyed. Some people will use anything good for evil and it was great to see Dr Wells be willing to undo what others had corrupted of her research.

A Jaguar finds his mate in the scientist that created the mind control chip

The threat from Caswell has ended. They still have the black op research bases to shut down. Then there are the billionaire brothers, Caswell sold the chip and research too. What to do about Loris, her programming was incomplete can they reverse it.

Tianna and Aidan have been doing valuable research. They have found the scientist that created the chip. Malcolm sets out to "recruit" her.

Daphane has been working to find a treatment to memory loss since she was a child. Her mother losing her after a debilitating accident. A genius she created a chip at age 20 and for the last 4 years has been researching ways to use it. Then Malcolm show up and tells her what the government has done, and she is devastated and angry.

Malcolm's cat is drawn to Daphane, and see is not immune. They are in a middle of a fight for survival. A war they may lose. He can't claim a mate. As they systematically take out the threats, it is getting harder and harder to deny his cat. Then Daphane takes things into her own hands.

Great ending to the series. Fast paced and a little steamy. Would have liked to have a epilogue around Wyatt and Gillian's babies bringing everyone together.

This book has bee re released as Justice under the pen name Aurelia Skye.

RIVETING, SEXY AND DIVINELY ENTERTAINING !!!
Title: Jaguar Justice
Series: Wounded Warriors
Author: Kit Tunstall (Kit Fawkes)
Designation: Fourth and Final Book of Series, Novella Length Paranormal Romance, Can Be Read As Standalone (App 130 Pages), No Cliffhanger, HEA
Reading Platform: Kindle Unlimited
My Rating: Five Delightfully Entertaining Stars*****
This series was my first experience with Kit Tunstall's (Kit Fawkes) work but it definitely won't be my last. I'm completely smitten with the Wounded Warriors Series. The first three books of the series were great and I enjoyed each of them but GREAT BALLS OF FIRE, I loved, loved, loved Jaguar Justice, the fourth and final book of the series. I must admit, I fell in love with the hero of this book when his character was initially introduced in the first book of the series and could hardly wait to read his story. My expectations were high since I knew this would be the book where everything would connect, our questions would be answered, justice would finally be served, and our warriors would finally be freed from their past and the threat shrouding their future would hopefully be eliminated. And Tunstall didn't disappoint, she totally nailed it! Tunstall pulled out all the stops and put the pedal to the metal for this riveting edge-of-your-seat conclusion. It's quite obvious that Kit Tunstall is a truly gifted storyteller and master wordsmith but this book was nothing short of EXTRAORDINARY! I adore sexy shifters and addicted to anything paranormal but give me the perfect combination of both generously seasoned with spine-tingling danger, pulse-pounding action, perilous adventure, gut-wrenching angst and heartwarming romance, and I'm in heaven! And that's exactly what Tunstall delivered in Jaguar Justice, the thrilling fourth and final release in the Wounded Warriors Series. Jaguar Justice is an enticing, well researched and exceptionally well crafted fast-paced novella length paranormal romance. The narrative is beautifully written in the third person with clearly defined alternating his and her perspectives. The dialogue is smart, snappy, well executed, easy to follow, and flows effortlessly. I was completely fascinated by the premise for this entire series but it's the large diverse cast of realistic and engaging characters who literally exploded from the pages, ensnared my imagination and captured my heart. I was immediately drawn into the story during the first few pages and fell head over heels for the two protagonists, jaguar shifter and former military team leader Malcolm Reeves and beautiful human genius Doctor Daphne Wells. These two were a perfect pairing. Their attraction was immediate, their interaction captivating, their sexual chemistry electric, their passion explosive and their fate undeniable despite the danger surrounding them. The connection between these two remarkable characters literally sizzled! And the amount of research Tunstall must have done to write such an intelligent dialogue about the brain, the study of its biology in conjunction with the human body and the feasibility of chip implants was mind boggling yet she did it in such a way that even I understand it. Amazing! Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it? Absolutely and I am! This book is considerably longer than the first three releases coming in at approximately 130 pages and can be read as a standalone, however, to enhance your reading experience, I highly recommend reading all four books of the series in chronological order. I'm sure it's one decision you'll never regret. There were a few minor boo-boos but nothing that distracted me from the story. Each book primarily features one couple finding their soulmate and all have a happy ending but there is an underlying interconnected storyline running throughout the entire series. Also many of the characters crossover and appear in all of the books which is one of the things I loved most about this series. In each subsequent release, we find out how each mated couple is doing and what's currently happening in their lives. I became vested in these characters. In my mind, they came to life and became my friends. I truly felt as if I actually knew them. I laughed with them, empathized with them, sympathized with them, and shed quite a few tears as my heart broke for them. I found myself shaking my fists in anger, railing at the injustice they suffered but by the end, I was happy, satisfied and well entertained. Will I read this author again? Definitely, just as soon as she releases the next book in the series! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! This one really had me on the edge of my seat with my heart fluttering in my chest while the time flew as quickly as the pages. Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

Handsome jaguar shifter and former military team leader who has accepted the responsibility for the safety and welfare of his teammates and has no time for love although he secretly longs for a mate of his own-check! Kidnapped beautiful human doctor determined to right the wrongs caused after her life's work was stolen by the government and secretly used for heinous experiments and morally questionable projects-check! Large cast of intriguing characters-check! Action, adventure, danger, drama, angst, heinous villains and evil machinations-check! Heated attraction, fiery passion, steamy sexy, dreamy romance and a heartwarming happy ending-you bet! That and a whole lot more! No spoilers from me but all the loose ends are tied together and presented in a delightfully entertaining package! Oh my! Out of all the books, this was my favorite! Well done Kit Tunstall! Well done, indeed!

***Although my review is not shown as a verified purchase, I read all four books of the series using Kindle Unlimited so it kinda is a purchase of sorts since I pay Amazon $9.99 per month to borrow and read an unlimited number of books available in the program. The only catch is I can't keep the books in my permanent library; I have to return them when I finish but I can always borrow them again or buy them if I wish. Love Kindle Unlimited!)

This is the final book in the series and I'm sad to see it end. It is a wonderful series with lots of twists and turns. Jaguar Justice is no exception. The team is now out to end all the military labs and private labs working on Project Shift or Project Enhance.
Malcom the leader of the group has kidnapped Dr. Daphne Wells the creator of the chip. Only to find out the government stole her work.
Will Dahne be willing to help Malcom by trying to help Lois? Will she even be able to reprogram her chip? Will the info the team brings back actually help Daphne reprogram the newest chips without killing the test subject super soldiers? I give this story 5 stars. Malcom is a jaguar shifter and they need Dr Daphne wells help weather she wants to come or not. So he kidnaps her. She is the one who first came up with the memory chip but the government took is and twisted it to take over people's mind and they used it a team member. So their team is going to stop them.

Love the action, the drama it was great. Awesome characters. Thier to easy to connect to. If you love shifters / military story's then this one was great and the story line was wild don't miss it.

Great paranormal story. Imagine being ripped from your life and shoved into a crazy world of Shifters & military using mind control. Daphne earned her doctorate at an early age to try & save her mother's memory. Her work has been transformed into an evil mind control device. She & Malcolm have to come to terms with their feelings while destroying the work of the people who transformed her creation.

Dr. Daphne Ellis is kidnapped by Malcolm and his team. Her dissertation work has been taken by the military and twisted to carryout Project Enhanced. Daphne is terrified and angry at first by the kidnapping but when she finds out that her work has been stolen and twisted, she is willing to help out. Loris is one of their teammates who had been started to be reprogrammed. Daphne is doing her best to free her from the mind control.
Malcolm is very torn. His jaguar is wanting him to make Daphne his mate but he doesn't want to drag her into his dangerous world. He also doesn't need the distraction while he is trying to ruin Project Shift and Project Enhanced. His jaguar doesn't care about the mission, it just wants his mate.
This is a great action filled story with a romance thrown in. Malcolm is a strong protective man who is in over his head. Daphne does her best to help but this whole world is new to her. This story is a great finale to the series.

*****I voluntarily received and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book*****
It sad to see this series ends but it truly ends with a bang! The story begins exactly where the last one ended in Coyote Marked (Lex and Aidan). Malcolm (Torres) Reese is a jaguar-shifter and it was his desire to end all experimenting for the Project Shift, which means persuading the inventor to assist with reversing the effects on his teammate and lover (Loris) and destroying all files, contacts, producing bases Caswell had. As usual, the author kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved how her medical terminology fell in place since that is my expertise! The characters are amazing and I thought Dr. Wells was humorous at times considering her situation. A great series, it is a must read!

Excellent paranormal, contemporary, and military romance. This set of books is best read in order due to its main storyline. Malcolm is a born shifter who chose to go into the military in order to serve his country. Suddenly, he realized with others assistance that humans and shifters were being forced into experiments. Daphne is a genius who holds a doctorate. She finds out from Malcolm what was done to humans and shifters using her data. Together they want to restore/destroy the abominations. The story keeps the readers attention throughout as well as having suspense, sudden twists and turns and wonderful romantic suspense. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by this author.

A fitting end to the series.

I volunteered to read an advanced copy of this book. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone, but to get the full story you will want to read them all, hopefully in order. I was able to read the full series and loved each and every one of them. This one was about Malcolm who is considered the leader in the group. He doesn't want to take a mate until after they are all free of being hunted by the military and their super soldiers. Daphne is the original inventor of the program the military changed and he "recruits" her help to alter it. Can they finally overcome the super soldiers and the people behind them?

I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it (I loved it SO MUCH I bought it as well to support the author.)

I loved the book. The entire series was fantastic. I hated to see it end. By the last book with the entire cast of characters involved, it was depressing for it to end. In one scene Malcom questions Daphne as to what is wrong. She replies that dinner with all of them reminded her of holiday dinner.

I am highly recommending this book to anyone. Especially if you love shifters and having a great plot!!!!

Great

I really enjoyed the Wounded Warriors series. It's best to read them in order so you don't get lost, but they are a great series and I assume this is the final book because it all came together and the threat seemed to be wiped out.

Finally we get to Malcolm's story, he's been an integral part from book one with his paranoia saving most of their lives. His pain at not having a mate is taking its toll, even to the point of seeing a photo of the woman responsible for the super soldiers existence, has made him feel things he doesn't want to feel. When he obtains her, his plans to wait for his mate starts to unravel. Daphne can't believe she's been kidnapped, worried at the guys intent, she fears the worst. Yet despite her fears, she can't help feel a pull towards him. Once she understands why she was taken, she wants to do all in her power to reverse what others have done with her research, and along the way find love.

This final book is a lot darker than the other three as the shifters have to deal with destroying the experimental data and files. Kit has done a wonderful job with this whole series, and the way it ended was fantastic. Can't wait for her next piece of work to come out.
