Degrees of Acceptance (A Prestian Series Book 2) by Via Mari is her second book in her A Perstian series. I highly recommend you read the first book before this one as this one will pick up where the last one left off. This book is about the continuation of Kate and Chase's story. Once again, all I can say is WOW! I love this series and will be saddened when I read the last of this series. I don't want to see it end. This is a fast paced book that will keep you reading until the last page. I couldn't put this book down and ended up reading it in one night. Again, her writing skills are awesome and her attention to details just suck you into their world. These are great characters that connect so well and I love their attraction to each other. The secondary characters are just as the main characters. They bring so much to this story and the story wouldn't be the same without them. This story has suspense, action, humor, mystery and hot, steamy romance that you don't want to miss. This story continues on Kate and Chase's relationship and their life struggles. Sometimes, I find myself getting a little mad at Kate because she is so strong. When she finds herself in danger, is she safe? Is her family and friends? Chase just is a take charge kind of guy but yet Kate can just look at him ...... I highly recommend this book as you will need to see what happens to Kate and Chase as their story continues. I can't wait to see what happens in book 3!

In this second book, yo see how Katarina isulled into accepting the many levels of what she is involved with Chase and her father Carlos .
Can she accept? Can she still love Chase and still accept the degrees of safety that he and her father would go?
In this book even though Katarina loves her mom, her beet friend and boss, and loves Chase she still has to figure out how much she can take and by the title there are many degrees in a total acceptance of love and the different levels a person can take.
I liked the story plot but as to the first person dialogue to sex scenes and then parts of the plot keeps jumping around that I'm a little confused, especially with emails and texting in between. And now with Chase prposing...
I'm still intrigued enough to read the next book to see how Katarina will accept or not. .. on to book 3

wow!! I am becoming a huge fan of this author. I highly recommend you read the first book in this series ( Degrees Of Innocence). There was nothing missing at all in this book. To say I loved this book would be an understatement. I highly recommend this author and these books. I was so excited that this book was more then Kate and Chase. The on thing that threw me off was that chapter one from book one was inserted in to this one, I just skipped over it. I love these characters! I couldn't put this book down! THIS IS A MUST READ

Getting better
This book shows us that Late is fortnightly meet her father and as we can see utterly opens up a side of Chase that day he doesn't know. There was a lot more going on in this book and I was happy it was more than Kate and Chase
The only negative I have is that a while chapter from the first book was inserted in this book. It completely threw me off until I realized it and just skipped the chapter.

I read this book and I enjoyed reading the twists and turns. Katarina Melier had quite a life journey, and the hero Chase Prestian was one sexy man any woman would love to have. So delicious book for the fans who appreciate books that has sexual content with interesting plot. I highly recommend.

The heroine and hero are very lovable and I love the emotions that the author invested in showing. Erotic romance at its best. Definitely worth the read.

Degrees of Acceptance is the second book in the Prestian series by Via Mari. It is an erotic romantic suspense- full of emotion, mystery, action, danger, secrets, hidden agendas, humour, and more. I really liked the first book and was really looking forward to the rest of the series. I did have some high expectations for this book and am happy to say that it was just as good as the first, if not a little better. This book should be read as part of the series as this story is a continuation from book one, so I strongly advise you to read the first book before starting off on this one.
As we discovered in book #1, Katarina Meilers (Kate) is a design consultant who was hired to help design a new state of the art medical facility for the Prestian Corporation. As part of the planning process the whole team had been flown to Aruba for a week-long brainstorming and design conference. Kate arrived a few days early in order to get things set up for the week ahead. Then a stressful situation introduces her to a very sexy and charming man, she later discovers is the billionaire owner of Prestian Corporation- the very company who had hired her for the project. Things soon get complicated when things heat up between them and then take on a sinister turn when Kate is targeted by a stalker with an agenda. All the while Chase does everything he can to keep her safe.
So, after everything they’d been through, this book picks up the story after the hair-raising events of the previous book. Chase and Kate explore their new relationship and all that it entails, and things get interesting, not just in the bedroom. Kate meets the father she never knew and discovers that he brings another layer of complications. As their three worlds collide, danger follows and once again Chase does everything he can to keep her and her loved ones safe.
This was a really great story that easily pulled me in and kept me engrossed the whole way through. I love the electrifying chemistry between Kate and Chase, their connection was intense. As with the last book, Ms. Mari built the tension beautifully. She turned up the dial on the suspense to “high”- keeping me on the edge of my seat, guessing what would happen next.
Some of the minor issues that I had with the first book have been rectified in this instalment. Although, at times the language still seems a bit ‘formal’ and a little ‘old fashioned’. But again, the story was engrossing enough that this didn’t detract too much from the overall storyline, or from my enjoyment of the book.
There were a few unexpected developments and twists which kept thing quite interesting and had me clamouring to know how it all works out. Bring on the next book!

This yet another good book in this series. The relationship between Katarina and Chase continues, both physically and emotionally. She is still trying to get over issues she has had in the past. He is just doing all he can to show her how much he loves her. Not to mention they are exploring more in the bedroom. On top of everything else, it seems like they are in danger again. Who is coming after them and why?
This book is written quite well and will have you in an emotional rollercoaster. There is just so much going on in the book, you will not be disappointed. This is so much more than erotica. The other events happening will have you on the edge of your seats. I highly recommend this book.

Degrees of Acceptance (A Prestian Series Book 2) by Via Mari is the second book in the series and is a suspense erotic romance story. This book should not be read as a standalone because you will not have all the information about the characters and their world behind you. I really liked the first book but am in two minds about this one. The writing style in this book didn’t quite grab me, it didn’t feel as easy to read. The story line was interesting, I enjoyed but I found myself wanting to smack Kate sometimes because she felt much more naive in this book and made things harder than need be and it frustrated me no end. That aside, it is a an emotional read with lots of action and danger, secrets and mystery that will keep you intrigued to know what is going to happen.

Another amazing book in the series! This takes place directly after the first Degrees of Innocence, and I would really recommend reading that one first because it helps understand this story 100 times better.
Romance, drama, suspense, action and so much more! I am seriously in love with this series. This one delves more into Katarina's family and a little bit more into the darker side of Chase. I just love the depth and dimensions to these characters. And their passion is off the charts amazing!
I can't wait to start the next in the series. These are definitely becoming a new favorite of mine.

Degrees of Acceptance by Via Mari a four-star read that will turn your head. This is the second book in A Prestian Series and I would recommend you read the series in order as they give the whole story and you won’t want to miss a detail and it does continue the story. This is such a story of discovery and identity, it does touch on trigger subjects so don’t read if you don’t like that sort of thing. Kate was a great character overall, but I don’t know at times I did find her a little off at parts, and then she came into her own again, so I ended up loving her again. If you want passion, mystery, suspense, drama and humour as well then this is a series for you.

I have become a huge Via Mari's fan after reading the Book 1 of Degree of Innocence . I was so delighted with the first read couldn't resist purchasing the other part. Honestly speaking it was just like the part 1 very intriguing and quite interesting. From the very beginning this book was begging me to read more and I was so into it I couldn't stop reading. Katarina undergoes a very emotional past, how she managed and what she does later was just worth reading. Happy purchase.

This book is so interesting and full of hot and exciting stuff. Katarina Meilers sexual life journey was such a pleasure listening too. It was a pleasure seeking and enticing book. I would love to read it's part three too, Via Mari you are an excellent author, you really know how to grasp a reader attention. Would recommend this book.

I am a big fan of this author. This book had it all. It was also written so well. The flow was awesome. Katarina's character was amazing. I think this author can write anything, no matter what the genre is.. Includes pain, sorrow, love, strength, very spicy and so much more. I recommend this author and her books.

Picking this up so quickly after the first I knew what to expect but this story still blew me away. I cannot believe the emotions in this book, and how quickly I got sucked in. I read fast, about a hundred paperback pages an hour, and I devoured this book in one sitting! I didn't even want to leave it for the bathroom...if that's TMI I'm sorry, but its the truth!

This book picks up from where other left of. Kate still having hard time with excepting evert thin. There is still a mysterious side to Chase. In this book we get her rmother and the dad. We have a kidnapping and a rap. All twisted into book two. Still working on finding out who Chase really is.

This series just keeps getting more interesting by the page! The story of Katarina and Chase continues as their relationship grows not only personally but professionally as well. More intrigue emerges as the couple have not only dealt with the ordeal from the last book, but it appears that more trouble and danger is headed their way and Chase spreads the circle of protection out towards not only his family but Katarina's family and friends as well. Things are growing hot and heavy, not only between the sheets but into their lives as Katarina meets the father she never knew and who didn't know she was in existence. Her mother's fears will not detour Katarina from meeting the man who is her father and with the help from Chase and his father, she meets Carlos, the head of the syndicate his family is a part of and the reason for she and her mother's moving from town to town for their own safety. But trouble is on the horizon and their lives are all in danger as an incident from the past comes back for retribution and places more doubts into Katarina's mind as to her relationship with Chase and his involvement in that incident. Then there is the issue with a leak from someone close to them that involves the project that Katarina, Jenny and Chase are working on. Things could go well for Jenny with this deal, but someone has let the cat out of the bag and they have given some half truths to certain people and someone that Jenny holds dear turns on her most violently.
This story will have you turning page after page to see what happens next, not only with Katarina and Chase, but with her father, mother and the danger that is lurking and threatening to destroy her world. So far, the characters are holding true to themselves as their lives are laid before us. Chase is still as domineering as always and still adores Katarina. She adores Chase and is holding herself as a strong, independent woman, but I see a slight change in her and I hope by the next book she doesn't turn into the type of female lead that I want to slap!
This is becoming a great series and I hope that you will give it a chance. I highly recommend this book and this series!!

Degrees of Acceptance was a great 5 star read and book 2 in the Prestian series.
I really suggest that you read the first book just so that you know the history on these two, I think that it would really help.
Katarina and Chase are continuing with their relationship and I loved it. Chase is very concerned about Katarina’s safety due to so many things that are going on. When Katarina finds out who her father is that adds more to the story as well.

Degrees of Acceptance is book two in the Prestian Series, and even better than the first. Mari has this writing style, a way to create characters that you want to be or know, and a storyline that simply just draws you in. The attention in this book is just another way I am so drawn into this series, this world, and this author. The book takes off right where book one left off and let me tell ya, you will be wanting to read book three as soon as you read the end. ANOTHER FIVE STAR from this author that I could not put down, simply an amazing book!

This is one amazing series! After loving book 1 I was really looking forward to starting this one and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Everything I loved about book 1, the writing, the plot and the characters - I loved again with this book. The author has an amazing talent at dragging you into her stories straight away and not letting you out until the very end.
As Chase and Katarina’s story continues we get to see more into their relationship both professionally and personally. We see Katarina discover the father she never knew and danger surround Chase as he tried to protect those nearest to him. With danger lurking around every corner I couldn’t turn the pages quick enough to see what was going to happen next. The suspense and action that they author created was amazing and kept me on the edge of my seat.

This is one amazing series! After loving book 1 I was really looking forward to starting this one and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Everything I loved about book 1, the writing, the plot and the characters - I loved again with this book. The author has an amazing talent at dragging you into her stories straight away and not letting you out until the very end.
As Chase and Katarina’s story continues we get to see more into their relationship both professionally and personally. We see Katarina discover the father she never knew and danger surround Chase as he tried to protect those nearest to him. With danger lurking around every corner I couldn’t turn the pages quick enough to see what was going to happen next. The suspense and action that they author created was amazing and kept me on the edge of my seat.
I am eagerly anticipating the next book in the series – I cannot wait to read it and get more of these characters!
