Very prosaic if that is a word
I skipped through the lengthy prose to get to the end which was very predictable .disappointed in the end more like a English loo Wesson than a real story.

While I did enjoy this story overall, it started off a bit choppy and the conversations seemed forced in the beginning. Couple of chapters in the book seemed to settle in to a good flow.

A wonderful 2nd chance at love.
Kent and Claudette love each other but her father has given her hand in marriage to a friend who is 30 yrs her senior. She is devastated and after 10 years her husband has died and his vicious son has set his eyes on her. Kent has waited to years for his love and he is not going to let get away again. Will he make in time to save her. A beautiful written story.

Good story and proves love always prevails. Just wished there was some justice for that Duke. And know if the servants were okay.

A fine romance
