Seduced is the first book in the Dangerous series by Ella Ardent. As a first book of course it can be read as a stand alone, BUT, it does have a cliff hanger ending, one that is so good that you know you will want to read the next books in the series.
This is the story of two people, a boss and his assistant who are instantly attracted to each other. Before she even knew he was her boss, Kendra found herself in a passionate clinch with him. Rather than be embarrassed when she did find out he was her boss, she was excited. She would have plenty of opportunity to seduce and be seduced.
Reid, is very much into BDSM, and when Kendra shows a liking for it, he is all too keen to be her teacher, her master. She is thrilled to have the opportunity and spends some explictly sexy times with him. She does things she has only ever dreamed of, but what she also does, which isn't part of the deal, is she falls for him. Reid wants sex, that's it, no emotional ties, no kissing even. But he finds himself starting to waver towards the end of the book.
It was difficult to decide what rating to put for this book because I really am not keen on books that have BDSM in them. I don't know what it is, but I just don't like the master/slave, pleasure/pain thing. BUT that said, this book has a great storyline amongst the sex. Although I wouldn't have read it had I known it was a BDSM/erotica book, I will admit that I am glad I did. It opened my eyes to things I never had any idea about. It hasn't converted me to ever wanting to try BDSM, but I think I have a better understanding of it. Normally I would rate erotica books with 2 stars if it was written well. I had to give this one a 5 star rating though because it not only had a dangerous stranger following Kendra, and who obviously has it in for Reid, a very good subplot, but the way the sex was written, and the intimacy portrayed rather than 'smut/filth' as some BDSM books tend to have, between the couple made it possible to read and enjoy rather than cringe.
So if you don't mind the whole master/slave bondage thing, and you like a book with mystery and danger coming to the fore, then I definitely recommend this one for you. I suprise myself in as much as I am definitely going to be reading the other books in the series. I need to know what happens next. Is Kendra going to be in danger, will Reid be able to save her?

Interesting story of two people who meet when he buys the business she works for. This is the first of three parts, and it does leave you hanging for the second installment. To be totally honest I don't normally read erotica, and add BDSM into the mix, this is not anything I would usually pick-up, but I agreed to read for an honest opinion. That being said, the books description covers the basic facts, the writing is tight and well done. The story is interesting, I have questions especially with the "stranger", but I am willing to wait and see if they are answered in the next two installments. The characters are slowly becoming more rounded as the book moves along and we are finding out more of their past. There is a slowly evolving story unfolding and I'm curious where it's going with the mystery part of this tale.

Ella Ardent is my go to author for busting out of reading slumps.
I really liked this one and I like that it had a mention of The Plume in it (also a brilliant series if you haven't read it I highly recommend you check it out).
Saucy, sexy and easy to read in one or two sittings. Ella is a brilliant author and I will always pick up her books.

This was a sexy, well-written book. The company Kendra works for is unexpectedly sold and she sneaks in after hours to retrieve a private file she had made with her boss. She isn't expecting to see the new owner, Reid, who offers her a very personal position. I enjoyed every word of this sexy book that describes their relationship built on control, risk and passion. I got this as a review copy not know really where from. This is not really a genre I normally read. I found myself intrigued by the mysterious man trying to harm Reid. Reid the self made billionaire, remakes companies and sells them. Reid buys the company that Kendra works as an executive assistant.
Kendra knows the company is not in good shape. Being wild and impulsive she takes her boss up on making him see the benefit of her idea to rejuvenate the company. Making custom lingerie that is better quality that what is made in sweatshops in Asia.
Reid sees the pictures and decides that maybe it will be fun to have a play toy that likes BDSM. This starts his training of Kendra who likes risks with sex.
Soon you get introduced to a mysterious man who is following Kendra, taking pictures, and videoing her without her knowledge. This man has it out for Reid and seems to what Reid to pay for some injustice on he knows about.
I want to tread the rest just to figure that mystery man out.

This is steamy hot with an elements of suspense and mystery. The storyline is intriguing and the characters and interesting, but at times there is too much detail and it gets in the way of the story. I enjoyed reading it right up til the end, where it leaves you hanging. Having all the episodes in your library before you start reading it would be best.

I just love a book where the heroine goes after what she wants. Reid is Kendra new boss and the sparks fly from their first meeting. She is able to convince him that she is the perfect submissive, as they learn to trust each other there are sinister forces at work to keep them apart. Hot read loved every second, yes this book has a cliff hanger, so can't wait to move on to the next to see what happens

Written in 3 parts, released a month apart, Seduced is the first installment of Kendra and Reid and their mutual passionate discoveries. Kendra posed for racy pictures for her old boss and when the company is unexpectedly sold, her new boss, Reid, comes into possession of the images. Eager to recreate and expand on the sexual experimentation pictured, Reid & Kendra come to a mutual understanding and begin to explore.
