Zen’s finally confessed his feelings to Shimana! Unfortunately, while she wants to help him pursue his dreams, she doesn’t feel the same way about him. Shimana’s got her own unreturned feelings to deal with, because she’s crushing on the landlord, who treats her just like a child. Determined to get closer, Shimana gets a hold of his high school yearbook–and makes some surprising discoveries.
I'm kinda torn on how the plot is going for this series, if it goes adult/teen romance...idk if I'd enjoy that...if my ship sails?? That's another story. Imma continue though bc the art is cute and Zen is baby
The character development was AMAZING but I can’t get over Shimana’s crush - the age gap is killing me, especially when Zen is RIGHT THERE!! Praying it goes in the right direction
Well, this is going down the drain. My ship isn't sailing, and it's not like I really"ship it", I just want Zen to be happy. And he isn't. I don't care about anybody else, to be honest.
whyyyyyy is she going after a grown ass man 😭😭😭😭 whyyyyyyy do they continue to emphasize that she is a CHILD and he is an ADULT AND STILL MAKE THEM GET TOGETHERRRR. WHY CANT SHE SEE ZEN IS RIGHT THEREEEEE!!!!! Begging it’s her and zen in the end please 🙏 the art style is so adorable tho
Pero que acabo de leer.... PERO QUE!! SE LO DIJO, SHIMANA SE LO DIJO!! OH DIOS MIO.... Y QUE ONDA CON LO DE "BIG BROTHER" ESTOY CONFUNDIDA, NECESITO RESPUESTAS!! AHHHHHHH.
i still dk how i feel about the whole teen/adult romances that are rampant in mangas lol im like torn between understanding its a cultural difference and also thinking nooooo
so i guess if you're reading this you probs know who im /not/ shipping
i have a feeling our girl is gonna do a lot of growing up before this series is over and im excited to watch her journey
Oooh man, so if I’m binging this series then it must mean I really love it right? Things are definitely heating up after the first two volumes and I just loved this volume a lot!
I'm actually not sure what it is about this one, but I connected with it more than I have with most of the other volumes. The characters are engaging, the plot intriguing and even poignant at times; so despite my heartbreak for Zen and my discomfort with Shimana's fixation on Taiga, it's a pretty solid installment. Also, Asahi seems to be coming back into the foreground of the story, and I am here for it.
We're finally getting into some character development for the landlord! Interested to see where it leads, and the exact nature of his connection with Asahi. Zen continues to be adorable and too perfect. Shimana is kinda plain, but I can get behind her determination and general pleasant disposition.
Things are becoming more interesting and developed. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the Landlord. Yes, he took Shimana in but what is the reason behind it? Is it selfish or selfless? There are many questions I have now that they opened up the Landlord's past.
My favourite character is Zen and I don't mind Shimana. Shimana is getting bolder and stronger but she still has to learn a lot of things. I hope that she isn't going to ruin the friendship she has with Zen.
Teen soap opera. The boxing storyline started last volume wraps up a bit quickly and neatly, and then the rest of the book is given over to revealing some of the landlord's past.
I want author to change character setting because Taiga is so childish in this chapter. He is only 21 years old in spite of he is a public prosecutor and landlord of his house. I think it is not realistic part of this manga and Taiga doesn't look like 21.

Ахх, най-сладкото нещо в този тип истории - първата целувка. Неловките ситуации между Зен и Шимана са само бонус. Любов и мечти преплетени в едно - става все по-забавно и интересно за четене...
It’s pretty much nonstop unrequited crushing in this volume. These characters have really grown on me, and I appreciated getting some more backstory in this one. The landlord is still reading as very mysterious, but maybe not in a good way? Things don’t look hopeful in that arena for Shimana, but methinks that’s probably for the best.
Okay, it's starting to lose me a little. While I do like the characters, our protagonist is starting to sound a bit repetitive and it feels a bit like we're going around in circles with the romantic drama. Also, culture differences aside, I'm finding the age gap between Shimana and her landlord is starting to get a bit weird for me. Five years isn't much to scream at, but their maturity levels are vastly different...and it shows.
Well, gonna keep going and see how I feel the more things develop.
