Omg
I am hollering!!!!!! Man I thought this was gonna be a love story but honey was I wrong.. This goes to show you that your life can change in a instant. Soul makes my nerves itch, I never thought he would turn out to be someone I didn't like.. Lord Dianna, oh lawd!! And Yohanna though, this girl is on some revenge stuff!!! Omg I need part two like today!!!!!! This book deserves 10 stars!!

Good Read
Its a good book, but not as good as the others. I can say, I still enjoyed it though.. maybe it was my distractions. Idk.. I'll be reading it again......
OAN... Soul was a muthaf**ker, but I guess all that come with dealing with a "street dude". Diana gave him a taste of his own medicine and he couldn't take it. She's still my fav. The ending.... that explains why Ian was so.. I guess "nonchalant" when it came to Diana.

What a page turner....waiting for part two
All hail to the queen, Jade Jones you never fail when your juices are flowing. Is it friend or for. I feel in love with Soul because of his ruthless and sensitive demeanor but I love him more. I love how you showed more of his cold and callous side but he still holds on to his sensitivity. This was well worth the wait. Come on Part Two

Jade Jones,girl you are bad!!!! Another Great Read
I'm so darn torn.... Diana really got me in my feelings. Why couldn't she see Ian was too good to be true. I'm so so upset that she brought him to her and Soul's home. And Soul, Lord he is crazy as they come. Still up to his sadistic ways with the torture. Trigga what a Jerk. I mean a jerk of all jerks. And Ced... What a dirty bastard. What an exciting read!!! Although,there were some predictable moments I loved this book. That cliffhanger has me on the edge. Please hurry with book 2.

Soul and Diana
I really enjoyed this read. Soul and Diana had a special kind of loving bond that couldn't be broken. They took me on a real rollercoaster ride. So many twists and turns. Diana was definitely his ride or die. Soul is bae, but he needs to get it together. My heart goes out to Diana. And don't forget about the drama. So much drama. What's next?

Soul and Diana (An Atlanta Love Story) by Jade Jones and narrated by Derrick E. Hardin is an emotional ride! I’ve been looking at Jade’s books for a while now and had an opportunity to request the audible version and glad I did. It’s an in-your-face, on the edge of your seat, emotional listen for adults.
The story goes back and forth from the present to the past. I had no problem keeping up with it, but it left me wanting to know more of Soul and Diana’s history (you do get enough info to understand what’s happening in the current book). I found myself rooting for Diana more than any other character I’ve read about (maybe because the reality of some of the situations/knowing others who have been in similar situations hits close to home). There is no shortage of action and drama. Some folks might have problems grasping the slang, but that’s what Google is for. It is left with a cliffhanger.
This book is about so much more than love- how difficult it is to change our habits, how power/money can change you, friendship, relationships, toxic masculinity, reaching your breaking point, doing better for your children/how innocent kids suffer due to the choices of adults, how love sometimes makes us stupid, and broken promises.
My favorite quotes from the book are: “Communication is the key to every successful relationship.” and “At some point you had to realize some people can stay in your heart but not in your life.”
The narrator, Derrick E. Hardin, was wonderful. He captured the characters perfect and has a very easy to listen to voice.
The only issue I had with the book was sometimes certain words took away from the story, but at the same time they were made to fit certain characters. Also should note there appears to be some glitches with editing- a couple words at the end of three or four sentences repeated twice.
Overall I would recommend. I would listen to another story by Jade and narrated by Derrick in a heartbeat.
Parental guidance/trigger warnings: This book is for adults. Physical altercations between numerous characters, fairly graphic sex scenes, single parent (or father’s minimal involvement), gun shot wounds, relationship problems play a large role in the book, cheating, prison talk/memories, torture of a man, drugs (selling), domestic violence, rough sex/rape (some will see it as rape while others might see it as rough sex), anal sex, schizophrenia, murder (of daughter and husband), and addiction.
Words: swearing (lots of it, pretty much every word is used), slurs (n-word, f@g***)

This was another good read from this author...'Soul and Diana' that will keep you on the edge of your seat turning the pages to see who or what will be coming next. I really felt so sorry for Diana..all she wanted was love, happiness and a family. But with Soul...would that ever happen? It was really interesting to see how that Soul wasn't able to take a dose of his own medicine and I can't blame Diana for doing what she did either. Again, will Soul open up his eyes before it's too late?
I found the secondary characters [Trigga, Ian, Ced, Yohanna and Nyri] to name a few were were captivating in this read. As you are thinking the situation is going one way then it goes another way presenting so many twist and turns. This was quite a interesting story of just what some people will do to get what they think they deserve. Definitely leaving one to wonder where is there loyalty in all of this? Can anyone trust anybody? In the end the reader is left with a cliffhanger....wondering is this the end for? I guess we will have to wait and see in part 2. I guess the saying keep your friends close and your enemies even closer will definitely come into play as they read through this novel of "Soul and Diana."

Wow! Wow! Wow!
When I say this Jaw Dropper right here! Jade amines put her feet in this! Diane got locked up, met Soul the CO. When she gets out life is good and her and Soul go at it. When Soul takes over his brothers business the streets and women call his name 24/7. Nyri is Diana’s home girl from jail and she is messing with a Bonafide serious Nut! Soul is a menace but he is going to meet someone that has no Soul and is the devil. When Diane and Soul get into a knockdown I, drag out fight but she comes back to her man and family which will unfortunately be one of her biggest mistakes!

The overall plot was somewhat typical but I was in need of mindless reading so I was ok with that, however the timeline was all over the place all the events of the book was suppose to take place in a 2 week period but Ian and Diana has been kicking it for a couple of weeks before the concert. It was also annoying that the night of the big fight happened in 3hrs. how?! Anyway now I am invested and want to see how everything works out. My hope is that more attention to the details is paid as the books continue because I now see there are 4!!

My new favorite couple!!
I have been down with Juicy/Diana since the Cameron series, and her and Soul are seriously my faves! I'm so happy to see a book where there are real relationship issues and everything isn't all peaches and cream and roses and romance. I cried REAL tears a few times because I felt this shit on a personal level lol! But what an amazing story, I was on the edge of my seat and I CANNOT WAIT for part 2!!!

Satisfied Reader
This story is a true definition of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. Soul had to grow on me cuz I didn't like his ways. But reading this story I'm all for him. Diana is the one for him I just hate Ian was a snake and she fell for it.Ced,Trigga and Yohanna will get what's coming. It's about to go down in pt.2

Jade u did it again!!! Soul & Diana are 1 of my all time fave couples. Soul is Bae, but he pissed me tf off forreal. I was hoping he got his ish together & he did. Bleu boyfriend tho.... Can't stand him. He has to go ASAP!!! & IAN. Good ol IAN. I knew he was up to no good. Diana played with fire & got burned. Can't wait for part 2!! 😊

Soul and Diana
First time read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely a fast paced read because you will want to keep flipping the pages. The characters were very well developed. Soul and Diana's love story is so real that love hate relationship between them. An absolute cliffhanger so ready for part 2.

Not my type of book
I have given this book five stars because it had a good storyline and flowed well.
It just wasn’t what I like to read. I didn’t realise when I got it that it was part 1 of 4 books.
So I haven’t given the author less than five stars just because it wasn’t my cup of tea.

I'm taken aback by Ian trifling ways. Poor Dirty Diana, I know you smarter than a 5th grader sis. These people are working my nerves, Soul being careless. Why you spilling your seed all over town. But this hussie Yohanna is the lowest of the low. Remember hun, you reap what you sow. You and Ced going to need matching grave sights. I love the mess!!!

It took me a moment to get into this book. Kwame "Soul" Asante has some enemies in his crew and Diana Prince was a straight felon. But together the couple had two children. A family to raise with Madison and baby Aseem. The story gets better midway & much better before it ends because these characters are all wildin' out in Gainesville, GA.

An Excellent Read. Man you did it again Jade Jones. This book had so much drama and excitement and backstabbing in it I could hardly keep up with all the snakes crawling around. Most definitely would recommend this book 📖. This book will keep you reading. I read all nine of Cameron books looking forward to reading Soul and Diana’s story.

Awesome Book
This was a great read. Soul is a dog. Diana has lost herself being with him. Was really rooting for her and Ian but knew it was too good to be true. Will she survive this vicious set up. So looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds in part 2! Great job Jade!!

I enjoyed it. I wasn't that invested in the story in the beginning and kept on drifting. The last 50% of the book made me more interested and kept on turning pages.
Ended on a cliffhanger, so I think I will continue on.
