The only book dedicated to the psychodynamic (group-analytical) approach to group coaching. A brilliant tutorial to learn this type of coaching step by step. Unfortunately, the book will not give you the skills you need to train them separately. But this is not the fault of this book. If you start or continue your coaching practice, receive training, and rely on the help of your supervisor, this book will become a real reference book for group coaching.

I found this book to provide a helpful balance of theory and practice and expect to refer to it often.

Dr Thornton, having published this book in 2016, periodically mentions the critical importance of face to face interaction, so I look forward to reading the next edition to see any updated recommendations in light of mandatory virtual interaction.
