This one was OK. For such a short book it felt like it took FOREVER for them to get together. Then we have a WHAM-BAM-THANK YOU MA'AM and we are done. The ILY's came after they literally spent like 15 minutes together.
I also didn't need the 411 on every other member's sex life. Less of that and maybe more pages devoted to actually building some sort of relationship between the H/h would have made this a much better book.

Torque and Delilah have always wanted each other but everything has worked against them. Not only is there a huge age difference, but she's the daughter of the MC's prez. However, as the years go by, these two are more desperate than ever to be together and finally take the plunge. There were consequences, of course, but nothing was going to stop them from seeking their forever as one. This story, although short, didn't lack drama. Delilah grew up in the world of her father's MC and saw just about everything. The author didn't skimp on the nasty details, which I could have done without. I don't need to know what other people are doing or having done to them sexually, especially when it adds nothing to the story of the main characters.

Loved it!! It had the perfect recipe to win my attention from page one combined with great characters and a sweet, passionate plot. Even for a quick read it didn't lack of anything from a long length book.
Delilah and Torque had a sparkly chemistry and they were perfect for each other, the age difference made it even more interesting and juicy (you know how much i adore this kind of element in the books!). There was some suspense as to when these two will finally be together... and oh boy fireworks flew everywhere when they finally connected!
Torque is a legit bad boy biker but with the magic hand of J. Snow becomes even more likable in our eyes, his devotion in Delilah was remarkable, which was what this sweet person either way deserved!
Definitely recommend this amazing story and i'm looking forward to read the next story the author will create!!

This was a hot, sexy short story that can be enjoyed in one sitting.
Delilah is the daughter of Brack, the president of the Death's Door MC. This means she is forbidden fruit to all the members of the club. Unfortunately, any other guy she is interested in runs a mile when he realises who she is related to. Needless to say her dating life is non-existent.
There is one guy that she would like to know a bit better, Torque. He is associated with the MC but not a patched member. Delilah has seen him occasionally over the years and there is definitely a simmering attraction between the two of them.
Then one night she finds herself alone with him and the attraction is just too much to ignore... but if he touches her isn't he pretty much signing his own death warrant? Death by Brack?

Great MC book
I loved this book.
I have to agree with the other reviewer even though this is a very short book, it's only 49 pages it does feel longer. I loved the characters, the story and everything.

I ended up reading this when I climbed into bed last night. It was short and hot, like everything I've come to expect from Jenika Snow. She is on my list for quickies to read :)
I liked that Torque and Delilah kept away from each other even though they wanted each other...she stayed away because of the age difference, he stayed away because of who she is to the MC. But once they were together? I LOVED IT!!!

This was just okay for me. I didn't get the connection between the H and h. Everything happened so quickly it was hard to really connect with their relationship.

EDGY MC ROMANCE
Torque is a nomad member of the Phoenix MC. He has no permanent home, and he prefers it to stay that way. Never short of random women for sex. There's only one woman whom he might consider having something with, and that's Delilah Stringer the daughter of the president of the Rush Falls chapter. But she's half his age, and even if the age gap wasn't a problem who's daughter she is makes her off limits to him.
This is a quite a bit edgier and far more gritty than this authors other MC books that I've read. It's also a really short story, but it didn't seem like that when I read it, as it's very well written. Torque isn't a romantic and instantly likeable hero, but he is sexy with a darker side to his character. Delilah has wanted Torque for as long as she can remember. But with an overprotective father any man who might be interested in her, will have to be strong to go against him. I love this authors short stories, and this one is another to add to that list.

This quickie read that's been on my TBR list for a while finally made it to the top of the list and it sadly wasn't my cup of tea. Although the blurb sounded good, the characters both go from zero to sixty without any explanation or reason other than they both are horny.
I like quick, fun, insta-love reads but I need some emotional connection other than lust to buy the HEA. Delilah and Torque were hot for each other and the smexy times are HAWT but aside from that, there wasn't much more to their relationship.
Delilah is the MC president's daughter and although she's been crushing on nomad biker, Torque for years, she knows that nothing will ever come of it because although her father and the rest of the bike club can be whores all they want, she's special and can't be tainted by sex. #doublestandards #hypocrites

This is the first book in the Death's Door MC series by Jenika Snow. This is a very short but steamy read and I look forward to reading about the other MC members. Delilah's Dad is Carson "Brack" Stringer, he's the President of the Death's Door MC. Her Mom dropped her off at the clubhouse when she was 3 years old (her mom was 22 & her dad was 34) and never came back for her. Brack raised her in the club but made sure all his guys respected her and kept their distance from her. He made sure she got an education and kept her away from the club's illegal activities and the parties. Torque is a member of the MC but he's a Nomad meaning he doesn't belong to one specific charter he travels all over. He is 45 years old and he has no desire to set up roots anywhere until a night with Delilah changes all that for him.

3.5 stars. MC books always make me very nervous because I hate "sweetbutts" or as this book calls them, "cherries". They're present in this book but tolerable I guess... Torque is an overall good guy and treats Delilah well. Very fast paced and no epilogue! I always want an epilogue.

Oh Jenika .... you just give me the greatest joys of reading about MC men that are rough and rugged and everything else fast and hard. The cover ... really great choice. This is a quick read and a good page turner. Don't fret .. you will get all you need for sure.
Delilah and Torque -- I love both of those names and they of course were perfect for how our two characters are written. Stubborn mixed with sassy. Sweet mixed with bad. Age difference .. for sure. And one more .. Torque is a nomad. They are always the bad boys that we all want and this guy is no different.
Stopping by Torque sets his eye on Delilah. The road is his captain and the only thing that he loves. Women are easy .. they want the bad boy .. the one with the reputation. The nomad patch ensures he is all that and more. Daughter of the club president she has the no touch rule branded on her.
Delilah wants only one man. The man who just walked in to the club. She has only had eyes for him but she was too young and her father would never allow it. Four years gone .. now is the time.

After Delilah saw Torque with one of the club cherries Torque knew he had to stay away. That one look made him feel shame and he knew he had hurt Delilah. Delilah the sweet innocent daughter of the clubs president who was off limits. When his assignment brings him back to the MC Torque's thoughts have been on Delilah more and more.
When they run into each other at a club get together neither can deny how they each feel for the other. And no amount of threats from the MC president will stop them both from something they have wanted for so long. When there one night turns into everyone finding out Torque will have to decide if he can deal with the consequences, and more importantly if he can leave the girl who means more to him than anyone else in the world.
This was a great fast read. I love Mrs. Snows books and this one was no exception. I do wish it had been longer but only so we could have gotten more of Torque and Delilah's story. Even though this was a novella Mrs. Snow did a great job of not only writing as complete book but of making me care for, and hate the characters in this book.

Love Love LOVE Jenika Snow and This Story is definitely one hot number! Its short, sassy, sweet and sexy-hot! Delilah is the daughter of Brack who is the president of the Death's Door MC. She is the princess of the club and is considered “forbidden” to the male members of the club but that doesn’t stop her from wanting to try to have a dating life-try is the key word. That doesn’t mean she has a dating life- once people find out who her father is, they run the opposite way so she doesn’t have a dating life.
Delilah does have her eyes on one man—Torque. He is known to the MCs – he is not yet patched to the Death's Door MCs. Riding Her Rough was a quick read that has a dirty talking older Nomad biker and an MC President’s daughter so you just know that it is going to be dirty and hot and everything in between. If you are a fan of this type of book I think you will really enjoy it, I know I did. There is just something about going for what you want, who you want, consequences be damned that I can’t help but love in a book. I love biker books as well so I was really in my book whore loving environment. I just wish that the book would have been a little bit longer just so I could get more of Torque and Delilah. It looks like I have yet another series to add to read because I have a feeling some of these guys will make Torque look tame.

I love Jenika Snow. Her books always give me good feels while speeding up my heart and making my soul swoon. Jenika guarantees shorts, sweet, sexy, and completely over the top in the most delicious kinds of ways.
Riding Her Rough is her newest standalone book that gives us on guy who is going to claim his girl... rules and consequences be damned. These two are going to make you fall hard and fast, just like they did. I went on a roller coaster of emotions with Torque and Delilah but one thing was for certain, it was one hell of a ride.
If you like your books safe, sweet, and dirty then this is for you!
I highly recommend this book.

I loved this story. It had so much: large muscled tattoo, alpha nomad biker and the daughter of the MC president and off limits to any and all members of the club.
A chance meeting of these two sets off enough phermones that a club full of bikers in all sorts of sexual acts even notice.
