# The Aura
After an episode in Florence, Kate stared to see strange illusions over some people's heads.
What the meant, was a whole life changing situation, one that leaves Kate, literally, battered and bruised.
It's a very strange and intriguing tale, well worth reading further about.
#2 Double Blind
So, if you believe some one close to you, or someone important to the society you live in, is going to die, and you know that you have the potential to change that outcome, although most people wouldn't believe or understand you, would you then do everything possible to prevent their deaths?
That's Kate Benedict's problem, having her best friend and a couple of political candidates showing her, via their auras, that they have a short time on this world.
As with a lot of supernatural type situations, most people are more than sceptical if advised of the facts.
So that leaves the poor girl in a situation of trying to gather enough information to convince the powers that be, that there is a credible threat.
It's another entertaining and enthralling tale.
#3 The Florentine Cypher
A missed dinner date, a man who may have been her friend disappearing in a taxi, and someone may have broken into her friend's apartment.
So, with all this happening, Kate goes off to alert the police of possible break and enter, as well as a missing person.
Next with a couple of cryptic messages, Kate is flying off to Florence where things really become hectic.
Yes, Kate is still seeing auras, and use she did glimpse one over the head of the person, she believed was her friend in the Taxi cab.
So, another hectic chase, across Italy, with possible assassins in pursuit. Good stuff!

Good read.
I gave this collection 4 stars because the plots are good and well thought out.The story lines don't leave any lose ends and the characters have some depth to them. I took off one star because sometimes I felt as though the plot was being dragged out a little and then, when a little more time could have been spent explaining why an aura may suddenly have disappeared it's just glossed over. For example, much is made of Ethan and Claire having auras all the way through the book and then the reader is left to kind of catch up on what actually made them disappear in the end with no real explanation. However, all in all an enjoyable read.

A stupid accident leads to more than Katie could have ever dreamed
Katie is just an architect, at an ok firm, with some friends and family. She’s had some tragedy in her life, but that’s just the way it is sometimes, right? It’s not until something changes, and she realizes she can’t just let the fates decide if someone dies or not, that she becomes more. She becomes who she was meant to be, even if no one else believes her. She can no longer idly sit by and watch others suffer, if she can help them.

What does your aura say about you?
Book 1 Aura. Kate starts seeing whirling auras over peoples heads and the faster they spin the more imminent and maybe violent the death.
Book 2 Double Blind Kate's friend I'd a pediatric surgeon and gets involved with some clinical trials that causes her aura to spin crazily.
Book 3 sends Kate to Tuscany to try and save a friend and his sister who's aura has led Kate to Italy. Some one trying to kill all them.

I have left individual reviews for each of the 3 books so I will not do them here. I will say you really get your moneys worth with is book set. I am in love with the series and and so happy I gave it a try. The death aura thing made me paws but it only added to the story line and really was not weird. Carrie Bedford does not dwell on it either. But I do have to say that the mystery part of the book is top notch. Can't wait for book 5.

These Kate Benedict book were an AWESOME READ!!
Kate Benedict sees auras, that people have hanging over their head. Kate finds out, that the aura predicts their deaths. Either in a few days or in a matter of weeks.
Great mysteries abound in these books. Good guys and plenty of bad guys Travels around Europe, antiquities lost and found.

The “Aura” is a great new personality trait. I love it. The fact she gets this talent after her mother dies is interesting. The Aura only appears when that person is close to death. Kate is able to save some. I hope there are many more In this series. Throughly enjoyed the books.

Really good, complicated plots, and some smart and understanding policemen. However, Kate herself totally annoys me. She's supposed to be smart and clever, but she's such a tangled mess of emotions and hysteria, you just feel like saying, like watching the movie Alien, "Don't go in there!" Makes my blood pressure surge way high. Maybe I shouldn't have read 3 stories in a row, I don't know.

The Kate Benedict series is interesting and full of action, with Kate getting into trouble trying to help those she loves. Plots are well researched, fun and characters likable and believable. Places feel real and scenes well developed.

Kate faces some really difficult decision, dangerous situations and has a talent she really didn't choose to have.
I think she handles all of it with more courage and determination than most would not!

I really enjoyed all three of these books. It seemed as though the more I read, the better they got. I already have the fourth book and am ready to continue reading. It's a good thing I am retired so I don't have to get up early!!

I love this author’s storyline…
I have really enjoyed the first three books in this series. The author has the skill to draw the reader into the complex story and keep the interest while something new presents. I will certainly recommend Carrie Bedford to my friends and family.

Excellent Paranormal Mystery Series
Wonderful, believable characters you'll come to

Fun psychic mystery
Kate has the power to see psychic auras of people who are about to die, but she is Damned to let them die on her watch. I found the three novels to be exciting and enjoyable all the while keeping me from guessing the outcome.

Carrie Bedford - Kate Benedict Series
I loved the fact that all the twists and turns in the story were unpredictable. The characters with abilities to see auras and spirits were a nice addition.

I enjoyed reading this set. I already had book 1 when I got the chance to get the series. Would have liked Kate being able to help more people with her gift though.

People are dying that she has recently seen.is there a connection, and how can she go about her daily life, afraid of what she may see next. I thought very well done, and of interest to go on to the next book.
