There is very little drama except for one misunderstanding, the story is just

What a nice, ridiculously dirty quickie!
Things I loved about this book:
-The silly dialogues
e.g. “I want you. I’m going to have you. I’m keeping you, Aspen.”
“Keeping me?”
“Definitely keeping you”
“Oh.”
“Yeah”. “Jesus.”
-The cover
Wicked funny. I wonder if she is wearing Louis Vuitton as it is mentioned in the book?!?
-The creepiness of the whole situation and the main character
“So you’re going to be out for the week?”
“Yeah, maybe longer,” I murmur, wondering how long it will take me to put a kid in her, because I’m thinking only then will I feel okay about leaving her side.
and
Taking my phone with me, I shoot one last glance toward the bed where Aspen is asleep, and force my feet to carry me out of the room and away from her. I tied a rope from her wrist to one of the posts on the bed to make sure she couldn’t just take off, but now, seeing that white fabric around her slim wrist, I’m wondering if I went too far.

It"s so good! I love the H! So possessive and he has a very dirty mouth. So hot! I love it! Can't wait for more of her books.
The story is about Hunter and Aspen.
Her car broke down and she didn't know where she was. She went for a walk and saw what she thought was a wolf. She ran and fell, twisting her ankle then passed out at his property.
He knew the moment he found her that he's keeping her and would never let her go.
There's a little misunderstanding but it was fixed right away.
There's an epilogue but I need more. If the story has a better epilogue, it would be a more than 5-star rating for me. I just love how OTT Hunter is. He's crazy possessive! My kind of hero.

Fabulous fun and sexy little read.

That line sums the book up perfectly and it's a fabulous little read, it's quick, hot and of course insta-love and it left me wanting more.
In another book I'd complain Aspen was an idiot for driving off with a phone or anyone knowing where she was going, that they have sex before they've had a real conversation, that she gives in to him even when she thinks he's playing her.
But not here, not with this book because none of that was important.
Only thing I didn't like was the cover had it not been for the great reviews I would have skipped past this.
Why only 3*?
Purely because the book is so short and while I enjoyed it it's not a book I'd re-read or keep on my kindle.

MEH or the BAD:
Average romance with insta-love/-obsession from 29yo workaholic & kinda-reclusive MT lumber-business owner H over college-student 19yo virgin h who he found unconscious in his backwoods Montana property coz she fainted when she saw his wolf-looking dog when she was stranded there due to her car breaking down on the backwoods road towards her stepmom's party. Average characters. h was likable enough with mix of city-girl attitude & know-how with some innocence. But she was just meh overall. H was pretty hot in his alpha-dominance & obsession with h but kinda controlling. Not too much. Didn't know much else about his character, aside from he was a wealthy business owner & lived mountain-/rural-living.

So it's hard to miss the fact I am a massive fan of ARR so when I saw this pop up on my GoodReads feeds I nearly kicked myself for almost missing it. So I flexed my one click finger and jumped straight in.
And it was just so fucking awesome. It's a case of what you see is what you get. Yes it's insta love and yes it's only a short little novella and yes there is loads of steamy hot sex and dirty talk and sorry I forgot what I was trying to say there while I took a moment to fan myself.
There was a story line, sure it was a little thin but it was more than enough to ensure I enjoyed every single word of it.

I was going to wait for a friend's review before I tackled this one, but I was in the mood for something quick and thought what the hell.
It's only about 50 pages--ridiculously short--so it's no surprise that it's insta-lust, insta-love, insta-everything. The author manages to fit in a bit of angst, some drama where Aspen worries over Hunter's fidelity, but for all you worriers about cheating, there's none of that. Hunter is laser-focused on Aspen from the moment he sets eyes on her in that special I'm-gonna-put-my-baby-in-you-so-you-can-never-leave-me Alpha kind of way.
It's short, it's sweet, it's full of sexy times, and it's everything it's advertised to be...but ugh, that cover... I also found it distracting that commas are just willy-nilly thrown in at the most random places or forgotten altogether. Still, it's kind of cute and sexy if you're looking for a quickie.
