Charity has a bit of a nervous tic... she steals things. It's not normally a problem, because she doesn't tend to get very nervous around her stable of book boyfriends. But when she accidentally goes on a blind date with a cop, albeit the hottest cop alive, she can't seem to stop herself from grabbing everything in sight.

Leo wants a family, not a criminal record. But there's something about the curvy bombshell of a thief he's been set up with that he can't stop thinking about. Or falling into bed with.

He needs to keep his hands off of her. She needs to keep her hands off of... literally everything.

There's no hope for a cop and a klepto.

Or is there?

Kayti McGee makes me laugh. Really, I could just end there and have a review that works for this book...because it made me laugh. And, I loved Leo and Charity...and her quirks.

And the post it notes...this is an obsession I share (albeit not to the extremes she does) with Charity. So, this made me laugh.

The kleptomania was a hoot...the salt shaker just about killed me with laughter.

Do you sense the theme here? Yup, this book was funny. Really, really, funny. And, it was well written...which is a requirement if you are going to make something funny.

Kayti McGee is a great writer, with a great sense of humor and the ability to write a funny character, with a funny story-line, while retaining the story. Ms. McGee herself will tell you that she does things "over the top" but, what she leaves out is that she can get away with it because she is a great writer who tells a wonderful story.

The only criticism I have, and it is a small one, is I thought the resolution of this one came a little quickly...but other than that, all good.

Have I mentioned the post it notes?

Humorous isn't even the word I'd use to describe this book.
Crazy, insane, downright certifiable. Yes! A kleptomaniac and a cop. What a matchup, I was reading bits and pieces to my BF and he's pretty sure the author that wrote this is off her MEDS. (His words not mine) he now understands my love for Rom Coms. It's the crazy characters and the ridiculous situations they get themselves into. What's more fun than laughing at someone else's mishaps? NOTHING! Lol
If you love slapping happy books this ones for you.
This book will bring you to tears of laughter. Loved every second of it.

Oh Jesus! This book is hysterical. I really needed a book like this. At 14% in, I was laughing and snorting and garnering strange looks from my husband. The concept is genius... a cop being set up on a blind date with a kleptomaniac. What more needs to be said? Chaos and hilarity ensue. It's a shorter book and I normally have a problem with short stories but this didn't even feel like it. Every single character is a hoot! I can't recommend this one enough.

3 stars.

I don't know what to say about the book.
The first part was really fast paced, I didn't know whether to cringe or delete the book from my Kindle app. I rather cringed.
The idea of a clepto and a cop is quite original but in this novella it could be more developed. All the drama quickly resolved and HEA is just around the corner. There are a lot of questions unanswered.

I loved this story! The way that the author did this book the internal dialogue really made this book shine. I couldn't help but laughing out loud at many parts of the book.

Charity was a complete riot. She had me laughing so hard at her antics and her inner dialogue that I just can't even express how funny it is. I will take of laughed this hard in a while. (I am totally laughing while writing this review!)

Leo was yummy, had cuffs, and was super funny. Really. What more could you need?

there's not really much that I can say to review it because it could ruin other readers experience but I will say that for how short it was it was really good. The plot was very for filling. At the end I wanted more but in a good way. It ended up being more steamy then I thought I would have.

Overall the story was amazing. If you're in the mood for a laugh, and a different type of story with a klepto and a cop, then you totally need to read this but it will have you laughing from start to finish. 4.5 stars #2OCCJD

Oh my gosh, I loved this book. Take one kleptomaniac, Charity, and one hot cop, Leo, and you have a silly, funny and hot romance.

Leo wants nothing more than to have a family of his own someday. How is it that he can’t stop thinking about Charity, the kleptomaniac that he should obviously stay clear of. On one hand Charity finds Leo annoying and in the next breath she can’t stop thinking about him naked.

I love, love, love the banter between the two of them. One minute they’re arguing and completely frustrated with each other and the next minute they can’t keep their hands off each other. Their chemistry is off the charts and the sex scenes are both sexy and funny at the same time.

This story was lighthearted, fun and will having you laughing out loud. This was a quick read, worth it 100%. I will never look at charcuterie the same!

Hands Off is funny and quirky! Charity, a kleptomaniac and Leo, a Cop are the craziest set of characters I've read in a while. Kayti McGee did a great job with this one! If you are in need of a good laugh, this rom-com is it!

I voluntarily read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Gah!!! I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard while reading a book. Scratch that. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. Period. Charity and Leo meet on a blind date which doesn't go as planned, but they still have incredible chemistry. The only problem, Charity is a klepto, and Leo is a cop. Both characters will steal your heart as they start a love/hate relationship. Kayti McGee has scored another hit! Booyah!!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Positively hilarious! Zany! Kayti McGee's wacky rom-com following supporting character Officer Leo Watson from Undercovers and his blind date Charity is out of this world funny. I've never read a hate sex book, but maybe I should start. The weird chemistry that is fueled between a police officer and a bookish kleptomaniac at a drunken blind date takes a turn for the super awkward. Who knew kidnapping your date when she can barely stand and throwing her into the back of your police cruiser would result in some of the most spellbinding sex ever?!

An unlikely pair, Charity and Leo, but they just can't seem to stay away from each other. Which is impossible anyways considering they end up in the same social circle.

Geez Kayti, I need to start reading more of your work! (I'm so behind) You make me blush and snort-giggle in the same scenes! So creative and fun! Quirky must be your middle name! The book was more of a novella so my review is shorter, but definitely read Undercovers first! It will spoil a bit for you if you don't.

This was quirky and quick! Hands off made me laugh a lot. Charity has quirk about her that just made me laugh. Her inner dialogue and they way she rationalized things out was magnificent.

Leo is a doll and I just never thought such opposites could attract but Kayti McGee showed me differently.

The book literally took me for a whirlwind adventure. It went so fast in the beginning I wondered if it would ever slow down...but then I thought it was perfect as Charity's inner dialogue seemed wild and crazy fast too. The book resembles her personality!

This was a great read if you are looking for something quick and satisfying!

"... there's that second flaw. The one that makes dating a cop the worst idea ever. Well. I'm sort of a kleptomaniac."

Hands Off is an extremely quick read that you can devour in a matter of hours. It's face-paced, fun, steamy and laugh-out-loud funny. Charity the forgetful, ADD, post-it loving bookshop owner has a newly acquired nervous tic - kleptomania - and gets thrown together with Leo the cop on a blind date. Needless to say, hilarity ensures - as do some rather steamy moments. They go from blind date to enemies to frenemies to more in this quick rom-com.

"As wrong as it is, our chemistry is explosive. Who would ever have thought it? A cop and a klepto. Then again, the rumor has always been that opposite attract."

It's a fun, witty, sexy book to escape with for a few hours. My only big issue is that it's a bit too quick. The ending doesn't really leave me satisfied. It could be a touch longer or be improved with a epilogue. Otherwise, Hands Off will have you laughing out loud!

This is my first read by Kayti McGee and I'm definitely going to be looking for more.

This was a funny, sexy romp. Great for a lunch hour read. I enjoyed the fast paced story with awesome dialogue. Charity and Leo are tricked into a blind date and are instantly attracted to one another. I love that they "fool" themselves into taking a one night stand into "fake" dating. However, I did have some plot point problems. My biggest issue - it's ok for Leo to drunk drive but not ok that Charity is a minor klepto?? A cop really doesn't get to decide which laws are ok to break. 4 stars for spiciness.

4.5stars...my first read from author, and by far this is the wackiest RomCom I've ever read (proabably wackiest anything!)..it was a total hoot...I was laughing through out the whole time....a kleptomaniac and a cop!!! this was super steamy/sexy read, these two couldn't keep their hands off each other, and then this would be followed by some items missing...LOL, yeah it may not have been perfect read/story, but it was super sweet (I mean him at 7-8 years old)...if this is the usual writing style of author, I'm going to read all her books :-)

I can't get enough! I love this book so hard. I recommend that you do it eat or drink while reading. I can't even count the amount of times I almost chocked from laughter. Also I do not recommend reading the book on breaks or lunch time at work... the amount of strange looks I got from trying to smother my laughter was hard to ignore.. GAH! Can't wait to see what else Kayti had in store for us.

I can come up with few premises that could bring more hilarity than a klepto being set up on a blind date with a cop. But of course, Kayti McGee comes through in spades. Not only is this book funny, but it's plenty sexy.
Charity is the manager of a bookstore called Bound (great name for a bookstore!) who has a "nervous condition" that most would just call kleptomania. Officer Leo Watson is a hottie who was (unknowingly) set up on this date by Melissa, a customer of Charity's (and the heroine from UnderCovers) to bring Charity into Leo's circle of friends.
From the first date, everything about their relationship is unconventional (looking at Cheez-its a whole new way), but the chemistry is so off-the-charts hot! Their banter is witty, as only Kayti McGee writes it, fast-paced and full of pop culture references. My biggest complaint is that this book ended way too soon. I seriously want to see how they handle what happens next in their lives.

At first this book started with me trying to figure out what was going on. I felt like I was being pulled in many different directions I didn't know which way was up. But as the book progressed I started to laugh and get into the characters. Charity and Leo have a very quirky relationship that somehow works for them. This was a very fast read for me and was able to finish within a couple hours.

I got to 21% which IMO was quite generous - there were a number of typos and errors that I was willing to overlook if it was cute enough, but then that, and the ridiculousness of GUY BEING A COP AND IN FREAKING UNIFORM ready to have sex out in the open ... in a public park...

Well... I liked it..

Yes, I laughed and all, but there was something missing... Maybe (I don't want to be cruel or anything but) an actual story about them. It's great that they have chemistry but it would have been nice to have romance in there. (Apart from se ending)

Kayti McGee is an author I discovered late last year and fell in love with. When I read a Kayti McGee book I know I'm going to laugh and find some characters I can really relate to-Hands Off was no different.

Charity had me laughing from the start. I have a love for post-it notes (not to Charity's level mind you) so her reliance on them made me giggle. I liked that she was confident in herself, she knew her strengths and weaknesses and wasn't going to change for anyone...except maybe Leo's mom.

Speaking of Leo, who wouldn't love a hot cop? I'll admit I had my reservations about him when he first met Charity but they were gone after a couple of pages. To me it was interesting to find a male lead so set on finding a woman-it's usually the other way around. But I love that Kayti McGee takes things you expect and flips them all around.

I love the supporting characters in this book- a lot. They definitely add to the humor in this book without taking away from Charity and Leo. I could see myself hanging out with them on game night-it'd be a blast.

If you're looking for a book that'll have you laughing while still being hot, check out Hands Off-you won't regret it.

What happens when a klepto and a cop are set up on a blind date? Is it a recipe for disaster?

Hands Off is my first Kayti McGee book, and HOLY HELL what a barrel of laughs! I haven't laughed this hard from a book in awhile.

Charity is a klepto, a sexy, sassy thief with a HUGE OCD issue. She uses post it notes for everything! Leo is the sexy, hot cop she meets on a blind date. Their attraction to each other immediate. The banter between them HILARIOUS!! Their chemistry SMOKING!! If you're looking for a hilarious, quick, fun read then Hands Off is definitely a book for you!!

Kayti McGee has done it again. This book had me laughing out loud from the very beginning. what could be funnier than a blind date between a kleptomaniac and a cop, I fell for them from chapter 1. Charity is a funny, sexy, quirky, book shop owner who has no time for romance, unless its in a book. Leo is a hot, sexy as F#%@ cop, who apparently dabbles in kidnapping. There's plenty of goings on in this book that will make you keep reading till the very end, like a romp in the park that's "Ooooo" so good, or the possible kidnapping or the romp in the kitchen that made me hungry, who knew Cheezits could be so sexy. Don't forget a game night full of shenanigans that leads to more romps. their may be a possible arrest thrown in too, I'm not quite sure. Some advice though, do not start this book at 1:00am on daylight savings time. I also need to explain my uncontrollable laughter fits at 3:00 am to my husband. I had a book hangover from just finishing Sierra Simone's American Prince, I was this close to never reading again but Kayti brought me back to my senses with her funny and sexy writing. Kayti is a literary genious when it comes to Rom-Coms, and I think I found a new favorite book of hers. This is a must read ladies!!! Off for now, I need to go get John Snowed right now.

Warning: Reading this book on front of other humans will cause personal embarrassment. Pets ridicule us anyway so whatever.

Leo is a hot detective and a clueless Dudley Do-Right with a case of wiggle room-itis. Charity is a smart and bookish bombshell with a nervous klepto-tick. They were made for each other!

I laughed out loud and earned numerous curious stares from family members while reading this quick story. I loved being in both Leo and Charity's heads as they navigate the frenemies with benefits waters. Oh how I wish there was. Charity in my circle of friends! The side characters and their odd eccentricities are completely entertaining in their own right, and I hope we visit this bunch again very soon. There much more story to be had, I'm sure of it.

This is soooo funny. If you need a quick pick me up this is the book for you. (Full Review to Come)

Hands Off is the funniest book I Have read all year. It focuses on do opposites attract. When Charity, a nervous kleptomaniac, is set up on a blind date with Leo, a by the book police office, it isn’t a match made in heaven. It’s just the opposite; a first date that starts off with too many tequila shots, some stealing restaurant items, a kidnapping, hot sex, more stealing, an arrest and it still ends with even more hot sex. The two agree to never see each other again, even if the sex is great they can’t handle how opposite they are. However, their lives keep colliding and they seem to continue to have more and more hot sex. Grab a copy of this hilarious book and let Kayti McGee take you on a wild ride to find out if the hot cop and the nervous klepto can keep their hands off each other.

I had no idea what to expect going into this book since it is my first glimpse into the Under the Covers series (I haven't read the previous installments).

This book was laugh out loud funny! I fell in love with Leo and Charity, and couldn't get enough of their antics.

Charity is one of a kind. She's quirky, forgetful, and addicted to post-it notes. And she's perfectly happy living her life free and with no strings attached. But her friend throws a post-it note into the works that just might turn her world upside down.

Leo....Super-sexy, awkward, gorgeous Leo. He means well. He really does. But lust has a way of jumbling up your brain and he's guilty of getting caught up in the moment. He doesn't always do the right thing, but overall you'll fall head over heals for this guy.

I'm bummed that I haven't read the other books in this series. If they're as funny as this one, I'm definitely in need for a back read.

Five quirky, funny stars.
