Bully: Seduced By My Childhood Tormentor

Rate this book
My mom remarried when I was very young, and along with a new stepfather I gained a brother who seemed to make it his life's work to torment me. David wasn't so much the pigtail pulling type as the blackmailing and violent outbursts type, and even 15 years later I haven't forgiven my childhood bully.
Fortunately, it's a lot easier to avoid him now... except when he shows up on my doorstep unexpectedly, the arm candy of my roommate for a dinner party we're throwing.
It's all I can do to be in the same room with him, flashbacks from my childhood driving me to the wine bottle in the kitchen, but when we sit down to dinner the seating arrangements conspire to put him next to me and I'm at his mercy once again. This time, though, he's grown, a successful lawyer in a tailored suit and almost unbearably handsome, and new feelings about my stepbrother are beginning to stir in me.
This standalone one-handed read is 4,500 words of taboo, panty-soaking sex with a sweet HEA at the end. Intended for readers 18 and over.

I usually give one star to DNF book. But I actually "finished" this book; yeah, this book is no book at all. It's merely short story. No chemistry, no plot what so ever and that's disappointing bcs it seems that the author didn't even try to write. The basic of the story is strong; classic hate-to-love theme, but why the author didn't write more? I don't understand. Especially bcs I know the writing is pretty neat. So yeah, one star for now. If the author's going to write a 'book', we'll see.

I don’t even know how to write a review for this book. I am not saying that in a mean way, its just that I had finished this book in under five minutes, it was that short. Despite this book being short I instantly wanted to punch David for what he did to Kate when they were younger. Kate was scared of him and hated him yet with ten minutes of him being in her apartment, they were sleeping together. She couldn’t have hated him as much as she said she did if she was shedding her knickers so quickly. I get that it was in the moment and it happened so quickly yet she knew how her friend felt about David. He was Carla’s date.

When Kate’s friend and roommate Carla is dating her evil stepbrother she is shocked. She is even more shocked when it is announced that he is coming to their dinner party! Kate hasn’t seen David in fifteen years. She has gone out of her way to avoid her evil tormentor. David made Kate’s teenage years a nightmare. For the six years that they lived in the same house, David was the devil incarnate. When he turns up at her and Carla’s apartment things are slightly awkward and David tries to apologise for his past actions. When David apologises he confesses his reasons for his actions and confesses his crush on her. Before she can blink things are getting hot and steamy between them. Will Kate and David put their hate aside?
