This was an awesome start to what will be great series. This had all the elements of a great MC, love, loyalty, betrayal, anguish and gritty. The story line was something a little different which was a nice change. The supporting characters can't wait to read about them. My only issue is that not sure when the next one is due. Overall I'm impressed for a book I stumbled across, I very rarely leave comments on any books so that's saying something.

Best book Ever
5 stars but if I could it would be 10. I loved Rem I think I have a new book boyfriend. I want the next book in this hopefully new series. I thought if there is one it would be about Duncan, but he way this ended it will probably be about Jordan.

Branding?!! Seriously?! It ruined it for me, it was good though up until 4/5 of the book.

Be Warned: hardcore dark erotic mc romance, menage sex, double penetration, forced seduction, public exhibition. When I saw this in the blurb (and the cover), I just had to read this book. Gwendolyn Casey is a new to me author and I'm always looking for another great biker story. This book only had a few reviews but all 4/5 star reviews…. so I was excited!
The premise was absolutely well thought out but after the first chapters the story became kinda predictable (which isn't necessary a bad thing; after reading so many biker books, some kind of predictability is inevitable).
Instant lust would have been believable but the instant love between Isabel and Rem (short for Remington, real name Jacob) was not. Rem making Izzy his old lady overnight and Izzy's out of the blue 'I want your baby inside me' was too much too soon.
IMO there is nothing dark about this book; it's a typical biker story. So the author didn't deliver on the 'hardcore dark erotic mc romance'-part. On the 'menage sex, double penetration, forced seduction’-part the author kinda delivered, but only in the very last chapter. And at that time we (the readers) knew Rem and it was totally unbelievable that he would ever allow that (share Izzy with another man). And ‘double penetration’ was probably technically correct, but it’s not what I had in mind when I read it in the burb, lol. Very hawt scene though!
This book was certainly an entertaining read, however, to be honest, it's not a solid 4 star read for me. On the other hand, according my rating system, 3 stars wouldn't be enough. So I'll give it 4 stars in anticipation of a follow up.
I hope this books was the start of a new series; there are a lot of interesting secondary characters! I will certainly give this author another try!

The lure of a bad boy is hard to resist, especially when it comes packed with hard muscle and a gorgeous face. Isabel has no resistance to this kind of onslaught, and the result is incredible. She and Rem are complete opposites in so many ways, yet when they come together it is magic. I love the darkness, but it is the sincerity and total devotion the Ace’s have for each other, that keep you wanting more.

Everything was sweet and cute. Has a very similar vibe to Rebel by Callie Hart. The FMC is cute and corky, MMC is possessive alpha vibes. The story kept you interested and the writing was good..........THEN the author had an acid trip and wrote the last chapter LOLOL! I felt sooooo out of no where but it was entertaining regardless lol

I loved it! I loved Isabel, she is just this scared girl trying to do the right thing but she still is badass, it was easy to relate to her!
I loved the MC and its members (Duncan is my fave), they are different from each other but still lovable in their own way!

Okay, I was loving it until literally the final two chapters. The branding totally ruined it for me. Also, I don’t know, but the final sex scene in the last chapter just seemed unrealistic and out of character to me. Like it didn’t seem like something Rem would allow. I personally did not like the final two chapters at all. I’m pretty disappointed. It went from a 4 to a 3 for me. :|
