This is a very inspiring book about how mothers make a difference in life, it paints a beautiful portrait about the joy of motherhood. I love the testimonies that were given by reading this book, the lessons and the secret prayers. I will recommend this book to everyone, like a gift from above, nothing can compare to a Mother`s love!
T.D.Jakes in his own unique way explain what mamas teach to their kids. One of the greatest things mamas teach, is - to believe in ourselves, to be broa- minded, power of words, to be responsible, to love ourselves, to celebrate others, to banish bitterness, to endure, etc. I just got so much encouragement through every page of the book.
I did not complete reading this book, not because there was anything wrong with it, but because not being a mother myself I wanted to get it into the hands of someone who could really relate with the content. I donated the book.
This was one of the greatest-books i have read,it was the first-time i read a book written by TD-JAKES and it really was enjoyable.I LOVED IT,CHECK IT OUT IF YOU HAVE'NT.
T. D. Jakes's series of books are really very educational books... I enjoyed when he said, that daughters should pay attention to men that they date. That they should be treated the same way that their dad's treat them. However, if you don't have a positive male role model in your life you can always read the Bible as a counsel and guidance....our daughters should be treated as queens and our sons as kings....and parents are the first teachers of your children...children always look for examples...and learn from them....he's a wonderful writer...
Good book and very interesting how people shared information about their experience with their mother that was often very personal but encouraging and enlightening. It's amazing how we all often share similar experiences rather they are good, bad or indifferent
