A brilliant series for 7+ readers full of adventure, magic and friendship from Paula Harrison, author of the Rescue Princesses and Kitty and the Moonlight Rescue series.
The beautiful forest that Emma lives in is home to the star wolves. Each evening, the wolves' magical song makes the stars appear in the sky. One autumn day, Emma rescues a star wolf pup from a trap. She begins a search for the little pup's family. But mean Lord Hector is trying to catch all the star wolves - he hates magical creatures and has a horrible potion to prevent the star wolves from singing. Can Emma rescue the star wolf pack from Lord Hector before the stars stop shining at night?
Beautifully illustrated throughout by Sophy Williams, this is the perfect book for young readers who love magic and animals!
Don't miss the other titles in this The Sky Unicorn, The Sea Pony, The Baby Firebird and more!
I loved the book. The wolves were absolutely beautiful. I'm glad that Lord Hector got a punishment. The only thing that I don't like is that it says "Lord". There's only one Lord, God. so who's this "Lord Hector", you can call him Hector or King Hector, but not Lord Hector. Other than that its good. It was a easy read for me.
This story is about two girls who saved a star wolf pup. The story is located in a forest having a village of tree-top houses. The scenes of the story are mostly set in times of evening till night. The title of book seems very mysterious to me. The book is very dreamy and magical. I usually don’t like magical or princess stories but this book is different from them. It is story of so many magical creatures that it feels like a dream world to me. My favorite character from the book is Emma. She is so kind, smart and brave. I wish to be in the story and want to be Emma. This story is perfect and I don’t want to change anything about it.
I thought that this book was awesome. Emma was just so keen on star wolves and obviously loved them very much, espicailly Teo. Teo had grown very attatched to Emma so it must have been very hard for him to say goodbye. My favourite charcter is Emma because she really and truly cares about the star wolves and took a huge risk for them.. She must have been absoloutely horrified when she heard that the 'baddies' wanted to take away the star wolves' voices and she must have also been angry. I reccomend this book to everyone as it is awesome and amazing.
We get Sophy again but this time she's helping a girl named Emma rescue some Star Wolves! Emma lives in an amazing tree top village and the wolves' song actually help bring the stars out at night, so they are very important. With the help of a giant diamond owl, the girls rescue Teo (the baby star wolf), destroy some traps and make sure no one threatens the wolves voices again 👏👏👏 Short but fun adventure. And once again in awe of such wonderful world building in such a short story. Loved it ☺️
Satisfied my wolf-loving daughter’s desire for a book about wolves! There are a lot of series like this one for readers of this age - e.g., Zoe’s Rescue Zoo, The Rescue Princesses (by this same author), but I personally enjoyed the otherworldly, fantastical setting of this one. Will likely look for more in this series at the library.
