"It's midnight in the land of the lonely and the free. Do you know where your kids are?" A smile cracked Giles' milk-chocolate face as he methodically licked his dry, chapped lips. "If you can't say, 'They're in bed,' then you'd better get up off your rusty rumps and go on the hunt for those wandering brats. You don't want the slasher to get them now, do you?"

Real Illusions Finale: WAR ZONE

Solange, sister of billionaire Trent Matheson, is extradited to France to face charges of First Degree Murder. She leaves behind a city under siege by ghastly, mysterious forces that will stop at nothing to retrieve what they claim is rightfully theirs. Solange is oblivious to what is really going on and to the true identity of her newly-found sibling. She has no idea that the worst day of her life could very well turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Disturbed by brutal happenings at home and the current plight of his sister, Trent is pulled in opposite directions. In the end, his decision to support one will firmly and forever seal the fate of those he truly loves the most.

War Zone - a review by Rosemary Kenny

Tanya R Taylor's 4th and last book in the Immortals the Complete Series is War Zone - a complex epic fight between good and evil that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout and probably make you scream in frustration, when you realise you've reached the last glorious page and the Real Illusions story is over!
MCs billionaire Trent Matheson and his wife Tina, plus Trent's life-long mentor and advisor Deed, know the truth about Trent's demonic heritage and his determination to save his gifted son Foster from sharing in the same curse. Trent's long-lost/recently found sister Solange has no idea of the peril she is escaping as she's arrested and taken to face a murder charge in France. The city and its inhabitants are in the shadow of Death as the demonic forces that seek to claim Foster unleash the terrors of everlasting damnation on all who resist them, open a portal to Hell that threatens a one-way trip.

The moving, (and heart-breaking at times) unexpected conclusion to this wonderful novel/box set, by Mistress of Dark Thrills, Tanya R Taylor, War Zone will haunt your every waking thought - and maybe your nightmares too! Don't read it alone, tell all your friends so they will be warned not to miss this epic story - and the Real Illusions Box Set that you should seriously consider buying, (but not reading after dark!) to thrill to the whole experience...satisfaction is guaranteed!

War Zone

Not my usual reading material. It was fast paced, crazy and scattered. Might have understood it better if I started with book one instead of four. Totally confusing. Sorry not a fan of this.
