The books each have a guaranteed HEA and contain plenty of action, hot vampires, steam and pregnancies. Definitely intended for 18+ readers.
It sounds interesting but it's a bunch of short stories. Anthologies like these make it hard for me to enjoy as I just get to know one character and poof they are gone!
Also, it's hard for me to remember the story line correctly. After a while they all blend in and sound the same. I'm left scratching my head wondering if this was the one with the scared vampire, crazy werewolf or whatever. If you know what I mean?
Others please enjoy!
Personally, I read to enjoy myself not to give myself a headache.
This stand alone quick read is a short story bundled with so many bonus stories in the edition I downloaded that the title story only takes up 3% of the page count.
This story has Vampires, Witches, intrigue and conflict, and a nice twist on the Salem witch trials.
All in all, I really enjoyed this story about diverse people, and whether or not they can accept one another, and how the minority deals with the power wielded over them.
A quick read with a HEA. I was surprised to get as many details as I did, an unusual thing in a book of this length. The story did hold my interest and the characters fit well together. Aaron and Sophia have known each other for awhile and are already engaged at the beginning, so it's not insta-love, which is a plus. I don't want to give spoilers, but there's some intrigue and betrayal mixed in with the animosity between vampires and witches. All in all, it's an interesting tale.
The vampire king needs a new blood donor, but can Sofia really do this? She needs to help her family and her aging parents and there is a lot of money involved. The moment Aaron, the vampire king sees her among the others and talks to her, he knows she is the one. Not only a blood donor, but his future wife. Sofia falls in love with the king and can't wait for the wedding, but a group of radical witches are out for his death. This book is a page turner and introduces some amazing charaters and proof that you will do what is needed for the one you love. Sacrifices at what cost to yourself? Quick short read, again I wish these books were longer, but I enjoyed what I read and the HEA.
This was a fast paced story. Great if you are at the beach or on your hour lunch break. The author did a great job with description and character development for such a short story. I enjoyed the different twists in this story; all the vampires are envious of Sophia and Aaron’s relationship. I think any PNR reader would enjoy this short story.
***I voluntarily reviewed an ARC for an honest review, this is my honest opinion and has not been influenced by the author or publisher in anyway.***
I was given a gifted copy by Heartbeat Reads. Sofia has to offer herself to the Vampire King in order to save her family from poverty. Aaron, the Vampire King, is a good king, he helps his people and helps as well to protect the witches as not all of them are bad ones. It is a short story and although at the beginning I thought it was a bit silly, I have to say that it is very fast pace and the action is intensive, full of twists and surprises.
Sofia and Aaron's story is another good, typical story from T.S.. It starts out with them already in love and about to get married, which is different and a nice change. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I don't think the description quite matches the story line; such as can she become pregnant while still being a virgin, there's nothing in the story about it.
This book is a novella and is a very enjoyable read. it is the story of a vampire King Who falls in love with a human. there is Strife among the kingdom from witches and others who feel that immortal and humans should not mate. it just goes to show how love wins out one against the odds, when the love you have for somebody makes you risk it all
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This was an awesome short read. There was loads of edge of your seat suspense. I couldn't put this book down after reading the first page. I definitely recommend.
This was quick read and I like it. This isn't another typical vampire story. Magic, love, action and baby. I recommend this book to any paranormal readers. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Warning of you hate books with extra words or incorrect words then you shouldn't purchase this book. The first story is very short. I read a couple of the other books and found the bad editing and lackluster plot line to much to handle.
If you like classic vampire romance novels this one will blow your mind. let it take you for a ride, i'm sure you'll enjoy. this is my second book i've read from this author and i'm still looking forward to more. thanks for the adventure can't wait to find another one.
The story is really superficial, there are no depths. Sophia is too immature for my taste. I had to force myself to finish reading. And her family is annoying. And I don't like how she accepts her friends'mean words.
A good take on parNormal romance, lots of babies a d hot vampires. I enjoyed this book very much, it had the right combination of steam, thrills and chills.
This paranormal romance was quite fun and exciting. It has a lot of adventure with vampires, witches and gorgons and magic. Quite a fun enjoyable read.
Sofia and Aaron beat all of the odds against them and were still able to stand up on top! I don't think I've ever read a true treatment to love such as you'd story!
What a delightful tale of love and magic. I would thoroughly recommend this book to all readers. Bonus stories have been included so there are tales for all
Sofia went to get a job as a live blood donor for a vampire king because she was desperate for the money it paid. She never dreamed she would end up as the king's fiance. The story opens just a few days before the wedding. Sofia still adamant about being a virgin for the wedding. Aaron is a great prince who Sofia has wrapped around her finger. He wants and elaborate wedding then he has to donate a similiar amount to charity. King Aaron is trying to adjust with life with a feisty human. She hates his fighting over insults to her and the way he sometimes uses his power. There is also danger around them including some radicals witches who want to be free of the vampire's rule. Sofia has to adjust to the vampire world and her future lack of children. Then her with friend tells her about this potion that will allow AAron to father her child. Sofia makes a batch as a wedding surprise. It is too bad she didn't read about the side effects. I really enjoyed this story. It was sweet, funny and a little steamy. I voluntarily received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
A vampire romance with a bit of a difference. I was given an ARC of this book in return for my honest opinion. I enjoyed this book because it was a different story line from any other vampire romance I've read, and I've read a lot of different ones. Aaron can be a bit possessive i.e. throwing someone out of a ball just for dancing with Sophia. Although he does seem to be trying to curb that side of his nature for Sophia, just not always managing to do so. Sophia did seem a little out of place at times as the vamp queen ( she became Aaron's living blood donor as a way to help her struggling family) but she does stand up for what she feels is right and for those she loves. I would have liked to know more about how she decided to apply for the position and maybe a little more about them falling in love but that is just me nitpicking. It is more of a sweetish vampire romance, so definitely worth a read if you want a break from the heavy on the sex vamp books.
Trust. Love. Political upheaval. A king’s rule. Vampires. Witches. Rebellion. Treaties. Magic. Spells. Potions. Marriage. Pregnancy. In-laws. Assignation attempts. Tempers. Brawls. Monsters. What more could a reader ask for from an author? The Vampire King’s Virgin by T. S. Ryder is a sweet novella that captures a reader’s attention in just a few short pages. Ryder creates believable characters both vampire and human who have been gob-smacked by love. Aaron, the king, has lived centuries devoid of love. Sofia, our heroine, has searched for a way to help her family and their situation. Neither of these ever expected to become the other’s salvation. As a reader, I cannot wait to see what happens next in this storyline. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy). The opinion expressed is my own, not influenced by anyone or anything other than my reaction to the story read.
I got this book as an ARC and completely forgot about it until I got a reminder this morning that the review was done for it. It did not take me all that long to read it. I have never read anything by this author and the pacing was good and it had me laughing and angry at times. It has me in a few emotional knots. I am loving all the new authors and style I am discovering in my reading journey. This is a novel that is about a woman named Sofia and he would be mate Aaron, King of vampires. She goes there to become a blood donor. But something between them changes and they agree to another arrangement. All while there is magical war going on all around them. A faction of witches that don't get along with vampires. There is a lot going on to keep you going until the last page.
