Filthy Boss A Billionaire Bad Boy Contemporary Romance Series
Filthy. Dirty. Boss.
Sam Jones is a private investigator working in New York City in the midst of the prohibition era. He’s seen a lot of gang violence during his days working alongside Officer James Mooney, his contact at the NYPD and closest friend. When Sam and James go to break up an underground speakeasy, they discover an old gang known as the Red Hearts is back –this time they’re using female boxers as a show gimmick to bring in more clientele. After two of the female boxers turn up dead, Sam must work to uncover dirty cops, break up additional speakeasies, and struggle with racism and prejudice amongst the NYPD and his own friend when he turns to a black boxer named Cassandra for guidance and love. Will Sam and Cassandra’s love survive her darkest secret?
This was a good set. There was romance, but also plenty of suspense with twists and turns. I enjoyed it and would recommend. *I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this set. This is my honest review.*
