Few points to cover the review Overall... 1- Retracement Theory was a new and fun concept to learn. A bit complicated to grasp at fist but puts the fluctuation of price in the market into perspective. Explanation with & relation to Fibonacci series, put it into a better perspective.
2- Movements with respect to RSI are well explained. Price fluctuations in the market can be seen with an unbiased eye using RSI, which helps understand why & when a certain trade should be taken or not. explanations given for these ideas.
3- MDRP - Momentum Discrepancy Reversal Points - Explains when & where bullish and bearish movements are beginning to develop, with regards to price. Some thing we know better as Bullish and Bearish Divergences. Some decent explanations with regards to that.
4- Concepts of this book are NOT "Plug and Play" on the field for sure. They would require some level of practice and observation on field before one can start to use them. Do not be disheartened, RSI is a very effective technique for trading once understood properly. My friend uses ONLY RSI for trading and he nails it very often in his trades. So its your level of expertise with the tool that matters.
5- Cons: Some printing mistakes are present in the book, but careful observations can overcome them easily.
This book has definitely improved my trading. All this time I've been misled follow bad advice from so-called "gurus". When the answer was to keep it simple and go back to basics. Reading Price Action.
