Recommend this work to anyone who has questions about the weather and climate of the Great Lakes. It’s a fantastic introduction to the areas of study, as well as a comprehensive look at the different ways the weather can and does impact the land and waterways around it.

Very topical for Lake Michigan sailing. Does a great job of explaining how localized wind breezes can shape the wind in conditions that would otherwise be light air in high pressure.
