And I'm the only one left to pay. Meet the dangerous enforcer of The Devil's Host MC in this complete bundle! Includes the following previously published Ride Me Hard Break Me In Drive Me Wild Hold Me Down
Shari Slade is the USA Today bestselling author of sexy new adult and rock star romance. She's a snarky optimist. A would-be academic with big dreams and very little means. When she isn’t toiling away in the non-profit sector, she’s writing gritty stories about identity and people who make terrible choices in the name of love (or lust). Somehow, it all works out in the end. If she had a patronus it would be a platypus.

I don't understand why this book needed to be broken up in so many " parts" If I would have not had them all I can tell you one hundred percent I would have given up on them, There's four parts, but there's no story, no character development, nothing really happens at all, well..several things almost happen, but are over in a snap. I will say the writing is not bad. I wish the author would have made this one book and took more time building to a climax then a resolution.. instead of having for or five " almost moments" you only really need one really OMG moment IMO.
SEXY AND EXCITING I fell in love with Noah and Star. Noah is definitely the epitome of the badass alpha biker. He falls in lust with Star the first time he sees her. Star is a mousey little spitfire who has gone through hell and survived never knowing what it's like to be loved but desperately wants to. The first time she sees Noah she's terrified but she wants him to show her who's boss. I think because she's been abused her whole life she's always been a lonely girl who needs to know what it's like to be part of a loving family more than she knows. Their chemistry is off the charts smokin hot! Noah is possessive and surprisingly sweet when it comes to Star and his sister Jules. The suspense is at times since exciting it had me bouncing in my seat. Lol. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
Ride Me Hard: Smoking hot read. You cannot help but love a bad boy. Damn what turn on. Star was a waitress at Jimmy’s Diner. It was a diner in which her no good for nothing cousin named Harry had help her get. One night this rough looking biker guy named Noah came in. Just one look you could tell he was not one you wanted to mess with, but yet had that bad boy look that turned you on. Noah was there with one reason to collect the debt Harry owed. Harry takes off leaving Star in danger to pay the debt he owed.
I so cannot wait to see what happen next. Star had found herself not knowing what she was going to face and not sure she had a chose in the matter. What will she be required to do to pay Harry’s debt? Will Noah become her lover and protector or become her pimp?
Break Me In: WOW, how intense. This is a dark erotic story. The author has done and amazing job capturing the characters and what it must be like to be part of an outlaw biker gang. The spoke and unspoken laws. The loyalty that goes into the brotherhood.
Star’s cousin Harry was in some deep trouble with the Devil’s Host. Dev wanted information and he did not care how he got it or who he had to hurt. Nothing would stand in his way. He was out for blood.
Noah was an Enforcer for the Devil’s Host. When Noah had come to collect Harry, Harry had fled leaving Star to deal with the aftermath of the situation.
Noah had to already protected Star once. The problem with Star was not running from danger. No she hopped on the back of its bike wanting a taste of the wild side. No matter how dangers it was and no matter how much her brain was telling her it was not a good idea.
Noah had already claimed her. She was his now and nothing hurts what his, not even her. But what happens when they stand in the middle of danger? What happens if he is faced with her getting hurt? Can he stand by and allow it, even if it means saving their lives or will he die trying to save her?
I love this series and was screaming as I read the last sentence, “No don’t end it there”.
Drive Me Wild: I absolutely love this series. Just can’t get enough of Noah. Starting to like Stone as well.
There is so much going on in this book. Noah’s sister Jules is missing and Noah, Star, and Stone’s life can be weighing in the balance. Though I tried to cover my eyes and read at the same time because Star just couldn’t keep her mouthy mouth shut.
In this book you get to see a little more of Star’s past and where she came from. She really is a strong and amazing woman. You get to learn a little more about Noah as well and where he came from and you will be a little surprise.
I love how tender Noah can be at times to Star but yet still be that bad boy that you crave. The club has some decision to make since their president Dev is dead. Have to wonder what the outcome will be in everything that is happening.
If you have not started this series then rest assure that if you love MC books you will love this one. Noah is freaking sexy as hell. As I read this series I am getting a little more interested in Stone as well. Almost hope that he will end up with his own series. Wouldn’t that be yummy.
Hold Me Down: I have loved this series so much. It is bitter sweet to see this series come to an end. I think we all were all in love with Noah. His Alpha male attitude just turned you on. We could not get enough of him. As far as this book being a stand alone I think it helps you to understand the story more if you have read the other books in the series.
Noah sister was missing. She had been kidnapped and Noah truly wanted to save her. Noah was in a lot of trouble with the brothers in the MC due to he had killed the Prez but one thing you can say about Noah was he was loyal. Noah truly had one weakness and that was Star. She was his everything but would he walk away from his brothers if need to.
Star is under a lot of stress. She is use to running when the going gets tough. It truly is what she does best. It is eating her up inside that the men Noah looks to as his brothers might sentence him to death. She truly does not understand the brotherhood and the trust and loyalty that goes with being in the MC.
Star is braver then she gives herself credit for. Noah sees this and this is what guts him inside. He is between a rock and a hard place. He wants Star so bad but Star does to trust the brotherhood.
Can Noah and Star work everything out? Will Noah be able to save his little sister? Will Officer Wade keep causing problems? Well all is revealed in this book you just need to read it to find out.
The Devils Host MC by Shari Slade When Noah arrives to collect a debt he picks up more than he bargained for. Star knows that she is not leaving alone. Noah is instantly attracted to Star and plays her like a fiddle. Noah seems to know what has transpired in Stars life and he knows how to handle her. Star starts to feel safe and protected in Noah’s company but can she be loyal to him and his MC. When a situation unfolds and she has to make a choice can she follow through? Characters were complex and secondary characters played an equally important part in the story. There was enough of a story here and it was enjoyable. While I found this enjoyable it did not have the wow factor for me. At times i felt a bit bored and felt like this story was too drawn out. However still enjoyable Reviewed for Hot books and Sassy Girls book blog
This was a first for me! After purchasing the book this morning I returned it. I have never returned an ebook before. I gave never felt the need.
Maybe it's just me but I did not like this book in any shape or form and did not finish it.
Everything seemed wrong, the portrayal of the MC. The treatment of the female main character. The treatment of the male main character and the way he treats the female main character who is supposed to be his love interest. Even the so called steamy scenes seemed more about degrading than sex.
I have never read this authors books before and I doubt I will ever again. Other people may enjoy this style of writing but I do not and I certainly like spending six dollars for something that just about turns me off MC's when I read a ton of them.
Even though this was a complete series it is a short series and can be read in a few hours.
This was not the best MC Series I have read and found it a little annoying in some parts. This is NOT how an MC would run...some of the things that happened were just plain unrealistic and unbelievable. Never mind the fact that the main characters fell in love within a few days at best. Besides these issues i read the story regardless and the sex helped...
This box set has been on my TBR list forever and I have just now found myself reading it. By the end, I could only think "why did it take so long for me to read this?!" The story was mysterious, wild, scary and lustful. It was hot and cold and completely absorbing. I just couldn't put it down. I totally recommend this box set
This should have been a 5 star read. It really should have. The story was there, the characters were there. But, it was lacking. The story felt as if it was a movie playing in fast forward while all the important moments were glossed over, skipped or just missing. The story was a good one it just never reached it's full potential.
Found this by accident and was completely enveloped into story. Loved the grit and dialogue pretty much real life drama I'm hooked! Thanks for giving a great story and great characters
The Devils Host MC was a decent read, increasing in interest the further you read. The beginning to me felt disjointed, almost like this was book two in a series. The final book, Hold Me Down was definitely my favorite and tied everything together with a big bad ass MC chain. Happy Reading!!!
I firstly read book 1 of the series, then decided to buy the box set. I didn't realize these were short stories, but I never felt like any thing was missing from the story. These book are a really good read, I would recommend them to friends.
It's catchy & interesting and the bonus teaser at the end perfect. Enough so that I 'm going to purchase & read it... Thanks for all your hard work well worth it.
Reading this, I felt like I might of reached my fill of alphahole heroes. Maybe because neither the heroine or the hero had much of an emotional arc. Sure, they fell in love and faced down evil bikers, but they didn’t change or grow.

Let me start off by saying I was at the very least pleased to see that the author made every effort to have her scripts thoroughly proofread. I did not spot even one editing mistake. Great! Because most indie writers just don't seem to care.
Now did I like this serial? Yeah, I guess so. Or rather, I think the correct answer would be 'neither like nor dislike'. Menages, swinging, gangbanging or anything of the sort is NOT my fantasy so I don't want to read about it. Even though there's no actual sharing in the book, had I known it was even referenced to (graphically too), I'd've probably skipped this serial. Book definitely lost a few points from me for that. I know the MC world is gritty and full of vices, including all kinds of fetish sex (or at least that's the stereotype), but if the H/h are into the swinging/sharing lifestyle, I'd rather not know. That's just me. I want to read about those biker dudes who are possessive & a bit caveman-ish about their ol' lady. He will probably gun butt the sh*t out of a fool for even looking sideways at her, muchless think about touching her sexually. There's got to be at least some? one? out there who are/is like that, right? Can I just read about him? Please? All of them seriously can't be cucks? Anyhoo, not a bad read overall, but the serial was not so OTT good for me to have overlooked my dislike for sharing (or references to sharing) and read it anyway. I could have easily skipped it & not feel like I have missed anything. I did sympathize with both lead characters in some way, esp the heroine, because they both lead kind of bleak, deadend lives with no prospects outside the MC. The MC lifestyle seems to attract and is populated by a certain subset of society, but the protags here seemed extra 'bottom-rungey'. I tend to prefer MCs where the protags have some marketable skills outside of committing crime (eg in Joana Wylde's Reapers MC series, the heroes have a range of legitimate & marketable skills from accountants and artists to lock/gunsmiths and mechanics etc, even if they use or bend those skills for 'club business'. I have a feeling that life will get darker for this couple - full of vices, risqué sex, cheating on both sides and probably life in prison without the possibility of parole.
DNF. I find this very hard to get into, the instant relationship between the two main characters made no sense to me. I didn't feel any connection or chemistry between the couple. I don't why it was broken up into so many parts it certainly did not add anything
Really enjoyed this serial series. Well written and full of action, of all kinds!!! Noah and Star are great together and I enjoyed seeing the way Star grew into her role as Noah's partner!!!
4 1/2 stars! Freaking LOVE Noah! I read this series as the installments were released and each time I finished one I was ready and impatient for the next! This series has everything- action, suspense, betrayal, love, hot and dirty sex, violence...all the ingredients for a perfect read. Noah isn't your average "good guy", nor is he even your typical alpha biker hero. He's got plenty of flaws, but don't we all? That's what I love about this series. Real people aren't all good or all bad. We're all somewhere in between and so are these characters. If you want a synopsis, Amazon provides one. I just want you to know this is something you need to read! It has some dark moments so be prepared, but in the end light prevails. Love and loyalty will always be stronger than deceit and hate. So why the 41/2 instead of 5 stars? I just thought the end felt slightly abrupt or rushed in the last installment. Not enough to make me upset with the series, but I would've liked something more. Maybe one more installment easing us to the end? Or maybe I just didn't want it to end at all. I'd gladly read more of the Devil's Host MC if Shari Slade ever felt like writing it! If you like real, gritty MC romances with a side of smoking hot sex....then you're in for a great ride!
I'm glad it was a complete series when I read it or I'm not sure I would have continued it. It is still relatively short though. I liked it. I liked the writing overall
I loved this story. I'm glad I got to read the co plate series at once that would have drove me crazy to wait. Well written and only a few errors that I saw. Good read.
This book serial was an intense read. I'm so glad I found the whole story in one though, as I would t have read it in short pieces with cliffhangers, that would have been an instant turn-off. Noah was a unique biker in some ways and I really felt like I got to know him even though the whole book was from Star's pov.
We got just enough of her background to understand where she was coming from and why she was okay with the situation she ended up in and how she reacted. The ending was wrapped up quick and there were some threads left but didn't detract from the enjoyment of the book.
Not sure about this book. Not your usual MC read. The club members are all quite dark characters and Noah is just different. He's alpha then soft them alpha again. His character is just confusing
This is not a complete series like the title says, it's only one book, about one couple, Noah and Star and it's extremely short, only about 50k words long. Most books are about 90-120k words. So very short.
With the title claiming this is 'The completed series', I expected there to be several stories about several of the Devils mc member's, like a book for Zip with Drew, and another book for Stone etc. But like I said this is only one book about one biker, Noah. So I'm annoyed that I paid for it. I definitely do feel mislead by the title and cheated. So be warned about that before you pay.
As for my review of the story itself, while it started okay, with some things I liked. Such as a darker plot, and Star's plot-line of being broken until Noah and I also liked the style of the writing at first, unfortunately the book is so short that it lacks depth and has barely any detail and it feels rush.
It doesn't help this is all in Star's pov, that only adds to the lacking feel. It really needed some third person descriptions and Noah's pov, to give the reader more of the story, to paint the scenes happening and to show the characteristics of the club members, including Noah himself.
That entire scene at 67% with the sheriff was described so poorly as to be silly and unbelievable. The sex scenes weren't very detailed or long either. Especially given that rough, darker sex, was what Star needed and wanted to feel more normal but it's not given in the book. This really need to be longer and more detailed.
I hate to say this but I think this is an example of an author just writing the bare minimum, what little they can get away with in order to sell it. Especially when she misleads readers with the title that it's a complete series. It's not even really an MC biker book, it's really just Stars story, with no contribution from Noah, who is the biker.
There are a few issues with the grammar etc but its mostly the lack of depth that's the problem. It's such a pity because I think this could have been so much better if the author had put in more effort, time and care in. Very disappointing. As it is, I have to give it 2 stars.
