A week earlier, Josh had been shocked to find a member of his paranormal investigative team near death after a night in Hell House. He had just been visited by the local sheriff who returned all of his team member's gear. The video tapes were blank, there was absolutely no evidence whatsoever from that night, except a short audio clip which played backwards, sounded like a message from Hell itself.
Moments after the sheriff leaves, the tiny ball bounces down the staircase and the sound of children's giggling fill the house even though Josh is all alone. The lights go out, and he hears a voice whisper, "I want to play some more."
