Their wishes were simple and modest. Fate had other things in store though, and she can be a real bitch sometimes.

All he wanted was to get the job done and somehow to endure those long months playing nanny to a spoiled little rich girl. Without strangling her with his bare hands in the process. Well, it is going to be much easier said than done.

All she wanted was to escape the past and live like any other girl. Her plan definitely didn’t include the arrogant, tattooed savage, with his awful mohawk and lack of social graces, whose only mission was to stick real close and mess up her life.

But, people aren't always what they seem to be, are they?

Sasha's life is quite normal, until a threat is made on her life and now she has to deal with a new bodyguard.

Both of them are not thrilled by the idea.

At first, she does everything in her power to avoid his appeal and making his work pretty hard at keeping her safe, but her defenses slowly crushing down.

“Come back home with me, Princess."
"Why?"
"I bought new glasess. And plates. There's nobody there to throw them at me.”

The dynamics and banter between them is hilarious! I loved their scenes together :D

Awwww He so sweet when she was afraid of the thunder <3

When we got to the plot twist, wow .. Although I suspected i still felt hurt for Sasha ..

Anyway .. i loved this book!! he was funny and cute! The ending was good and i loved them together :D

After the tragic loss of her mother, Sasha has broken free of her father's world and created a life for herself that is almost normal.  She lives with a roommate, attends college, spends way too much time studying, and enjoys occasional nights out with her friends.  One would never know she's the daughter of a powerful arms dealer.  But when a threat is made on her life, the world she tried so hard to leave behind returns in the form of a tatted up bodyguard she can't shake.

The last thing Alex wants is to babysit the boss's spoiled daughter, but it doesn't seem as if he gets any say in the matter.  In no time at all, he's moved into the spare room in her apartment, following her to class, and tracking her down when she tries to slip away.  But no matter how hard he tries to stay detached, there's something about the girl that has him breaking all the rules.

I didn't really know what I was getting into with this book, but ... Wow.  I'm kinda blown away. The whole bodyguard romance thing has been done before, certainly, but this may just be the best one I've read.

For one, the characters didn't come from the normal mold for this kind of story.  Alex was neither your typical criminal nor your typical security guy, and Sasha wasn't overly ideal either.  Yes, she'd obviously been raised with the advantages of money, but had her father not been introduced, I might have just assumed she was a normal, everyday college student.  They're both put out, they bicker constantly, and they take advantage of a few opportunities to get on each other's last nerves.  But while Sasha may be trying to escape her past while Alex just tries to get through his present assignment, there's no overwhelming heaviness or the standard tortured character fare that these kinds of stories typically deliver.  In fact, the entire story was a wonderful surprise.

Where most bodyguard stories I've read play up the cliches, turn the sexual attraction on high, and make it all into an overdone love/hate relationship, Perfect Opposite takes a more subtle approach.  In doing so, the relationship seems to develop more naturally, as opposed to being some kind of whirlwind neither can escape, and I was absolutely hooked.  Yes, there was an undeniable attraction, not to mention plenty of antagonizing each other as Alex and Sasha tried to deal with their lives being uprooted and tossed together, but it wasn't the formulaic version I expected.

Perfect Opposite is a fresh take on a classic storyline, with characters that aren't transparent and a plot that isn't the least bit predictable.    I love that things weren't immediately explained or discovered, that I had only as much information as Sasha had, unable to even begin to guess what would happen next.  Just when I was on edge waiting for danger to strike, nothing happened.  And just when I was comfortable, it came out of nowhere.  Instead of heavy foreshadowing that often gives away the whole surprise, Tessi's approach is to casually lay out the scene and perhaps mention something important as if it's nothing -- exactly the way the characters see it.  It makes their reactions all the more plausible and their emotions as raw and natural as anyone's would be.  And then came the plot twist I never saw coming.

If you're expecting the same old story to be told again, with little more than the characters' names changes, this book is not it.  It's wonderfully written with interesting characters, enough surprises to keep you guessing, and an incredibly sweet love story at the heart of it all.  If this is what I can expect from Zoya Tessi, I'm getting in line now for anything else she decides to write.

A very funny, witty, emotional and catchy book that had me cracking up from the very beginning. The writer did a great job in making excellent characters who were down to earth and very entertaining. I had a great time reading this book and once i started it i couldn't put it back down until it was finished. the theme and the idea of the book was very different from the typical idea of mob gangs that i have seen in many other books. And this was the best thing about the book making it even more entertaining. I would love to read this book from Alex POV becasue frankly he was an awesome!

Tnaaaaaaw this is like the cutest thing ever! Except for some mistakes (I think) the book was exciting, funny, cute and touching all at the same time! I love that there were some action along and not just romance all the time, even though I really liked those scenes where Alex and Sasha have those sarcastic conversations. I usually find myself smiling :) I really couldn't stop reading at some parts of the book, as Zoya drops so many hints about what might happen... This book is a book I would totally recommend!!

Update: I preferred the first cover...

I loved the story, but most of all I loved Alex/Oleg.
Let me give you this description: tall, dangerous, tattooed, motorcycle possessor, arrogant, sweet at the right time. Interested?
If you are this is the book for you.
Other aspects that I like was the magnetism between Sasha and Alex, the funny comments and the ending of the book.

In the end I would like to congratulate Zoya Tessi for writing a wonderful book and wish her success in the future with other books.

Wow.. NEW. FAVORITE. BOOK. I went into this thinking, Oh god, yet another YA romance where the girl hates the guy, then falls in love with him, blah blah blah... But this exceeded my expectations beyond belief. There were so many twists and turns in this book; I'm pretty sure my heart stopped. Multiple times. I absolutely hate really predictable books, and this was anything but. I was hooked from start to finish (I finished it in two days), and I ended up skipping more than one meal in order to read.
THE CHARACTERS. Let's just talk about the characters for a second. Sasha, the main character, is a bitch. And I love it. Everyone always talks about how Rose, from Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, is such a badass character, but honestly, Sasha far surpasses "badass". She's downright mean, and it's the greatest thing in the whole world. I have never enjoyed reading from a character's POV as much as I enjoyed hers.
And then there's Alex. ALEX. This is one of the greatest cases of character development I have ever witnessed, and we all love character development. I can't even begin to express how much I love Alex. When I cried so, so very hard. I almost didn't finish the book, I was so upset. I'm so glad I did. ZOYA PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WRITE SCENES FROM HIS POV I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER.
As for the overall plot, there was never a dull moment. It was such a new and interesting concept; I definitely needed a break from paranormal/sci-fi/fantasy. It was extremely refreshing, and amazingly well done. This book will leave you breathless, heartbroken, and thrilled, all at the same time. 5,000,000,000,000 stars.

I got this as a free book in exchange for a honest review, so here it is.

I really liked Perfect Opposite , it really pulled me in. Lately, I've been pulled into these angsty love novels. This book really looked past the stereotypes, and I got to see what these people were really like behind these stupid labels that seem to stick to us our whole lives. I love how it had a mystery, like some sort of ground besides, he was a boy, she was a girl...but it really showed his unpredictable love can be. Most people think that romance goes like this:

Pretty, rich popular girl+Jock

Peircings, tattoos, leather, and a bad attitude+Biker chick

But in this book, it shows it how it really does end up sometimes.

Popular chick+ Tattoo guy

I really enjoyed this, it was a quick read and I'm glad I was given a chance to read it. I can't wait to see what Zoya comes up with next! :)

Perfect Opposite is a standalone novel written by author Zoya Tessi. I was surprised how much I enjoyed this book! The main characters are Sasha and Alex. Sasha is in danger because of an incident that happened between her father and a business associate (his line of work isn't exactly legal). Alex is a temporary bodyguard assigned to her by her father. This is not your run-of-the-mill bodyguard romance though. It's suspenseful, funny, romantic, emotional...you name it. The banter between the characters is like watching a tennis match. Although it may have went a little overboard at times, I think it was supposed to. The book title is Perfect Opposite after all. There's even a major plot twist that added some surprise and a detour to the storyline. This ebook is less than 300 pages but the story encompasses so much and I felt thoroughly engaged from the first chapter. The story's fast pace and well-developed characters make this book a fun and easy read. And the fact that it's a standalone is a bonus. I would highly recommend Perfect Opposite to fans of contemporary romance/suspense books. The characters fall within the new-adult age group but it would easily entertain adults of any age and it's safe for mature young adults too as the adult content is minimal.

My favorite quote:
“Whatever you do in life, Princess, it always comes down to the same thing in the end – repentance. To a greater or lesser extent, we all regret some of the things we’ve done. When it comes down to the wire, people always find a way of justifying their actions, or they chalk things down to experience, or they let their brains work some magic on that slippery thing called memory, and in the end they find a way to let themselves off the hook. It’s more difficult to forgive ourselves for the things we didn’t do in life, and when it comes to that, people end up fumbling around for excuses most of the time. When the time comes to settle our accounts, it’s those missed opportunities that are gonna haunt you.”

I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review.

The moment I read through the first chapter I had my doubts whether I would like the story or not. Sasha came off as a little brat to me at first, but that was before I really understood the gravity of her situation. At a young age, Sasha has been exposed to the dark underbelly of the arms and weapons world all thanks to his father who happens to be a big arms dealer. Let's not even go to the reason why she gets panic attacks during thunderstorms. After learning of this, I really started to get attached to her. I can only imagine how difficult it was to just desperately get away from it all and still try to keep as much sanity and normality as possible.

Then in comes Alex, an enigmatic personality who was tasked to be Sasha's bodyguard/nanny after some complications with her father's job happened. At this point, i thought "Wow this would be incredibly cliche if they started to hate each other to the bone" and then I realized, so what if it was cliche? If I was enjoying what was left of my freedom one day and then all of a sudden my absentee father tells me I have to walk around with a stranger, i'd be fuming mad too.

Overall, the story had it's ups and downs but I thoroughly enjoyed the story so much I overlooked and forgot so many things that I wanted to nitpick. It had everything a good chick lit had. I loved the humor, especially the match of wits between Sasha and Alex. Some of their matches had me in fits! It had the appropriate amount of drama and romance to really reel you in to the story.

One thing I cannot overlook though is the somewhat broken moral compass that Sasha seems to have when it came to dating. For some reason, it was easier for her to forgive what Alex has done but cannot even give Tyler a break? Cheating of course is completely unforgivable and perhaps it's more on the line of Tyler's approach towards the issue but I figured lying about your identity and hiding out for months and making people think you are dead is also up on the scale of "unforgivable" things. I guess in the end, Sasha really did love Alex, in the end. Love makes you do things you never expected of yourself. I really love the anecdotes the characters express in the story. It gave them more depth and personality, another dimension to them rather than just two dimensional characters.

Another thing is that as much as I loved the world-building, I couldn't tell where the story is set. Other than that, I really loved the story. It's a fun, romantic read to dip your feet into and I will definitely be looking forward to reading more from Zoya Tessi.

Perfect Opposite is the story of mobster princess, Sasha, who would really just like to be normal. But when you’re a mobster princess normalcy isn’t on the agenda. When we meet Sasha she has been on her own for a while trying her best to move on after a horrible incident that destroyed her world a few years prior. The only way she could live the life she wanted was to get away from her Russian, arms dealing, mob boss father, so that’s what she did. She was finally able to get her own apartment and enroll in college. Of course her father was always around some way or another whether it was through the bodyguards he hired to watch her building or by paying people to move out of the apartment below hers. But nonetheless, she was on her own, sort of, which is more than she’s ever had. Unfortunately that’s about to change when a threat is put out against her because of her father’s dealings. He really is just trying to protect her and you can’t help but feel a little bad for the guy because of the way Sasha speaks to him, but it’s also because of his ‘profession’ that they are in the mess to begin with. Because of the threat he is sending one of his employees to move in with Sasha and be with her 24/7. This doesn’t fly to well with Sasha since she’s trying to be independent, and not only that but this guy is a total douchebag! How can her father do this to her? So Alex and his tall, muscular, tattooed, gorgeous body move in and her life will never be the same.
I am not gonna lie, this book had me squealing like a little girl at times. The banter between Alex and Sasha is so entertaining and filled with so much tension that I just couldn’t put it down! I HAD to know what was going to happen! The characters were perfect! Although Sasha was a ’spoiled brat’ according to her father, I never really saw her that way. I thought she was very headstrong and determined and I enjoyed her character very much. And Alex.. Oleg.. whatever you want to call yourself it doesn’t really matter because you, sir, are the epitome of what a bad boy should be and us girl will never be able to resist you! Did anyone else picture Joe Manganiello as Alex?!?? :P
Thank you Zoya for giving me the opportunity to read and review this awesome book, and I look forward to reading more!!

***I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.***

'Perfect Opposites' follows the story of Sasha Navarov, the daughter of a don, as her life is turned upside down because of the new bodyguard she is forced to have by her father.

I adored this book. I heard many wonderful reviews about this book before I read this. I am not allowed to buy books on the internet and I couldn't find a physical copy of the book. So, when I saw the read for review of this book, I pounced on the chance. I had very high expectations for this book, and I wasn't disappointed.

Sasha, the daughter of a mafia king, has always longed for a normal, free life. So, she moves out of her father's house and gets settled in an apartment. She even has an eccentric roommate, Bethany. But when a mis-understanding between her father and his partner occurs, she is threatend to be killed. So, for safety, her father assigns her a bodyguard. So enters our hero, Alex, all hot and tattoed and arrogant.

Sasha and Alex are such a great couple. There is no insta-love or that kind of thing. Granted, the sexual tension was there, but you will get it only if you have a hot guy looming over you 24/7.

Sasha is a great protagonist. Contrary to some people's opinions, I didn't think that Sasha was whiny or annoying. Everyone have flaws, so what? She is a tough girl. Alex, is a great love interest. He is totally badass. Their frequent banters were so hilarious and entertaining. They are filled with sarcasm to the brim. The plot is such a good one. Vampires, werewolves, fairies, these things are used very often in stories, but the mafia? Talk about rare.

Overall, I am very happy that I read this book. I thank the author so much for giving me this book to review. I absolutely adored it. I will look forward to more books from Zoya:D

**This book was given in return for an honest review**

To start off, the story... It was amazing. I stayed up half the night to finish it. The cover of this book though, if I had went past it in a store, I wouldn't have given it a second glance. Picking book covers can determine the amount of people who will read your book. The cover is what draws people to it in the first place. Moving on, the love story in here- I utterly enjoyed it. Instead of 'cloud 9, sickly sweet, always wonderful' love going on; there was hatred, tension, and words thrown around to cover up the affection underneath it all. The wrongness of the relationship made it oh so right. And 'Alex' ohhh man, gorgeous is how I imagine him, and his attitude and tattoos and how well he is at protecting... Just yes. The end was a total blow to me, he wasn't who I thought he was, but the very very ending- man, I couldn't put it down, had to know! And it was just 'ahhhh' smiling and grinning like a fool. It's not often a book can leave this feel-good loving/sweet feeling that makes me want to text my boyfriend and just be like 'you're amazing!' But this one did. I like how it shows you that, the looks aren't everything, and being from the same crowd isn't either. That everyone's lifestyle is different and what you see is never what you get. This book was way better than I could have imagined and I highly suggest it.

Given as a free book to review I must say that it was a very fast and entertaining read. I mean I only had one issue with the main character Sasha and her incessant door slamming. But I think that is more of a personal pet peeve of mine. I found myself laughing at two specific parts. So there is a comedic factor between these two characters throughout the whole book that will have the reader chuckling.

The things I liked: Alex's funny commentary and Russian version of his name. The back story of Sasha and her father in regards to his trade and family history. The supporting characters like Beth's upbeat personality, Paolo's colorful persona and Mike who I can't decide what adjective to give, gave off a nice background effect to the main story. Alex character is finely written in the sense that I had two theories as to why he was so shut off. His character did give off a vibe of I am not what I seem, which made me constantly try to figure him out. Finally, the epic climax as to his downfall also had me shocked that I put the book down because I couldn't believe that happened.

What I did not like: As mentioned before, the constant door slamming. In essence Sasha did seem a like a spoiled "princess" but it makes sense as she falls for her perfect opposite. I also felt that the ending was a bit anticlimactic.

Overall though, I really did like this book a lot. I read it in about 2 days. There is a good amount of action. I would recommend it for those who need a quick break from reality. Plus the insults are so funny I may just adopt a few.

It is not often that I start and finish a book in the same day, much less within a few hours. On that note I will say I totally loved this book! It was perfect in my opinion, not a single thing I wished was different. The Love story was brilliant and there was just enough action and twists to keep it interesting, i found myself laughing out loud uncontrollable at many parts of this amazing book and feeling for the characters when I knew they were hurting, scared or sad. I didn't want it to end! I would love to read this from Alex's point of view too. And I will definitely be reading any other books this author may have in the future! Well done Zoya Tessi! I'm glad I got the chance to read this and would highly recommend it!! :)

When I´ve found this book, I was like: Hell, I will start to read it and see what happens ... So, after several pages I was like: WTH? I was immediately glued to my kindle, thanks to Perfect Opposite!
This story is raw, emotional, sometimes funny but sometimes very sad, but mostly so so unpredictable! WOW!
And this is the reason, why I have to admit, that Sasha and Oleg´s story will stay with me a long time after my reading! Yep.

Characters are really likeable and real!

The whole story is escalating and unpredictable in so many ways... You think, you know the truth but the author, Zoya Tessi, just prepared some other option to explain the book´s plot! And you will be very surprised!

Love, love it! I want so desperately some continuation of their story, or some other character´s story...

Zoya Tessi´s writing is so unique!

Perfect opposites: the blurb makes you think that the story is very different.
Alex is a though guy he works for some shady people and one of his newest assignment keeping guard over spoiled rich girl named Sasha. Alex has a Mohawk and full with tattoo's he's riding a motor cycle. Alex is really a nice guy under all the though appearances.
Sasha was an annoying bitch. I wanted to strangle some sense in her. She was rude, on respectful, obnoxious she doesn't listen she fight over everything and if not for her character this would have been a great book. The first 75% of the book was a solid 1 star but the last 25% got better.
I did like the ending. I think that the writer does have potential to write some great story's.

I found myself really enjoying this story, It definitely fit with the title...
I think it was beautifully written with a great storyline.
And the ending was like WOW! I hate to give spoilers but I will say that once you think it's the end of the story, it will catch you by surprise! I know I felt my heart break for Sasha, first because of how her life can't just be simple then what happens after. I kept hoping something would change for her!
I loved the relationship Alex and Sasha had, I was completely amused by their arguments. I found myself laughing out loud, especially when he goes shopping for her, lol!!

Overall, it's a really good story, I would love to read future stories from this author.

This is a fun book to read. I wish the author wrote more but I couldn't find any more books of this author and that's a shame.

The story is very simple. Very "The bodyguard" The daughter of a mafia mob gets a death-treath so her protective father assigns a new bodyguard to her. The sexual tension between these two is so steamy. I love it! Some twists and turns and overall a very good read and a HEA.

This is not very graphic so I guess it's perfect for YA readers? I personally wish the author had pushed the limits more.

I received a copy of Perfect Opposite in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this one. When I hear bad boy, tattooed, and mafia..Im all in....how about you?

The story opens introducing us to a mystery man. I couldnt figure out where the prologue fit in, until almost the very end. And I love that!!!

Sasha is trying hard to get away from the life she grew up with. Desperately trying to carve her own future, away from her father's shady dealings, she has grown bitter and cynical. Now, I must admit, it took me a while to warm up to her. She comes off as a total spoiled brat, one that literally pitches a fit when things do not go her way. But as the story progressed, and you learn more of the things she had to contend with growing up, things she has lived through and endured, you begin to have a better understanding as to why she behaves the way she does.

Alex, OMGoodness--->can we say YUM!!! I LOVED him. He is broody, and secretive. He is tattooed head to toe and built like a mac truck. His face remains expressionless, and you are constantly left wondering what is going on inside his head. But at the same time, you want to attach yourself to him and never let go. He is a total jerk, comes off cold and distant. The kind of guy you want to get inside his head and learn all his secrets, and the things that make him tick.

Alex is one of Sasha's father's top men. One of his most trusted foot soldiers, so when a competitor threatens to have her killed in move of retaliation against her father, Alex is sent to play body guard and watch out for Sasha. The problem is, no one in Sasha's new life know who Sasha really is. No one knows who her father, the criminal mastermind, is or how she grew up. So how is she supposed to explain the sudden appearance of a tattooed hot guy constantly following her around?? The solution?? Move him into the spare bedroom of her apartment, and say he is a distant relative in need of a place to stay.

As Sasha tries to navigate life with a constant shadow, she finds herself drawn to the mysterious Alex, as she is fighting so hard to stay away. When the unthinkable happens, Sasha is forced into hiding with Alex. As time wears on, the constant pull she feels towards him becomes harder to resist. And as Sasha finds her resolve weakening, Alex continues to fight against the feelings he has come to have towards Sasha. Will these two ever get on the same page??

As Sasha and Alex finally begin to work towards building a relationship, secrets are spilled, and missing puzzle pieces begin to fall into place. But when Alex's deepest darkest secret is finally revealed, will Sasha be able to move past it? Or will the love that fate has brought together fall apart before it ever has a chance grow solid??

Sasha and Alex'x story is full of twists and turns, and a lot of the unexpected. I love when a book keeps me on my toes, and Perfect Opposite delivered.

Perfect Opposite is about Sasha (a spoiled rich girl who is trying to live like any other nineteen year old girl and leave her past behind) and Alex ( a Russian guy who played nanny for Sasha as a part of his job) and how they were tangled up even though they can’t stand each other.

Perfect Opposite was written in Sasha’s POV and somehow it’s a bummer! Alex is a total badass who doesn’t hesitate to show his resentment towards Sasha even though he was assigned to protect her and he is full of mysteries that you would want to have a peek in his mind but you can’t in this book. It’s all Sasha and you will just have to trust in his every word. But after you finished the book, you will understand why. I will not tell ‘cause it will be a total spoiler so you just have to read it. So maybe, since we are done reading the first one, there will be a book in Alex’s POV? Can this happen? I hope so! Calling Zoya Tessi! Your attention is kinda important here! Lol. Anyways, back to my review. My favorite character here is, ofcourse, Alex or Aleksey. I love that name! Maybe if my husband will allow it, my son will be named Aleksey. Lol. He was a total badass and I was thankful to him that somehow he was taming that spoiled Sasha. I don’t hate her but sometimes she was just so annoying. I love their banters it was so entertaining. The battle of smartasses. The last part was a total heartbreaker. I never expected that and I can’t tell you anything about it so, read the book! The author makes me guessing throughout the book. There will be scenes that my mind was working double time as to what and how things will go. Sometimes I guessed right, sometimes not but Zoya wrote it in a surprising way that you will be satisfied in the end and that makes it harder to put the book down.

Perfect Opposite is recommended to people who love to read a good developing romance with some thrilling actions in the middle and a I-do-not-see-it-coming moments and mysteries.

Perfect Opposite tells the story of an unlikely coupling of two individuals during a unsettling time.
Sasha is the main character, she is the daughter of the head of the Russian Mafia and due to this her life comes under threat. All Sasha wants to do is live a ‘normal’ life spending time with her friends away from the family business, but as the threat on life becomes serious her Dad orders her put under watch by one of his most trusting, loyal employees, Alex.
Alex is a hard working, serious ‘nanny’ tasked with protecting a misbehaving spoilt teenager who will do anything to lose her ‘guardian’. He cannot wait for this job to end so he can get back to doing real work, little does he know this could be his best job yet.
The story overall was great, it had humour, action, romance, heartbreak and deceit. I loved this book and think it had something for everyone, at first i was a bit apprehensive thinking ‘another typical opposite attraction story’ but it was so much more than that. you think you have the story figured out and then it just flips on you and heads in a total different direction, it kept me well entertained!
I enjoyed this book so much that i would love a sequel to be written, it’s that good (hint, hint) Also i would recommend this book to everyone 14yrs+, so go on and get a copy for yourself and I’m sure it will capture you as it did me.

I hope this review has helped you, can you please rate it positively if you liked it as it really means a lot to me, Many Thanks for reading:)

2 stars (It was okay)

Before anything else, I would like to thank the author for the opportunity to read the book in exchange for an honest review.

Well, I don't really know where to begin. The reason why I was drawn to this book was because of the interesting blurb. I thought the plot sounded great and I always like to read books by new authors.

The beginning of the book got me excited. I was hooked. But unfortunately, it all went downhill from there.

I am so unbelievably sorry to say that I became restless and bored as I read through this book. I tried my utmost to enjoy it but soon enough my mind began to wander and I began skimming lines.

Sasha was a spoiled brat. I didn't find any redeeming qualities in her and I could not relate to her at all. She was completely infuriating and I wanted to stab myself whenever she did anything idiotic (which was most of the time).

Alex was an asshole. I can't sugarcoat it. At first I thought he was bipolar --- but no, he was just suffering from Major Asshole Syndrome. He should NOT be considered as a hottie or a boyfriend material. He was arrogant, cold and detestable. I honestly don't understand how Sasha could be attracted to his vile personality.

I thought it would get better but it just -- it wasn't the book for me. I am so sorry. I don't think I'd recommend this to my friends.

To begin, this book was a very fast and entertaining read

The main character Sasha was very prissy, which made me dislike her character a bit. But to the story, since she falls in love with her perfect opposite, makes sense.

The authors writing style was very easy to read, and fit the story well. If I was to speak to the author, I would recommend not repeating certain habits of the character every time she may do them.

This book was very enjoyable, it took me about a day and a half to finish. I would (and will) recommend this to friends.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to read your book!

It's a classic story...spoiled little rich girl falls for her body guard. Zoya tells it well. the story flows and the characters are rich and vibrant. The love story is sweet and makes you laugh and cry. The only criticism I have is that the setting is very ambiguous. It is a large city, but where? It could be the US, it could be the UK, it could be Europe. From the references in the book, it is hard to tell.

Overall, I really did like this book. It is an excellent debut for Zoya Tessi!

I received an ecopy by the author for an honest review.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It pulled me in after the first chapter and I finished it in one long night. It was well written with humor, suspense, and romance. I loved the banter and adversarial relationship between Sasha and Alex, although Sasha was a bit annoying at times! I liked how the build up toward romance was slow and the storyline took different twists and turns. There were a few plot issues that were questionable, but still well worth the read. I could even see a sequel for Sasha and Alex! (I would change the cover!)
