Go Wild

Rate this book
As soon as Olympic skier Lars Nordegren sets eyes on free-spirited Katia, he wants her. Their passionate affair is everything he needs—except that one missing phrase, “I do.”

Katia Pollard lives for the moment—the wilder the better. Never before has she been tempted to give up her carefree ways. She’s deeply in love with Lars, but she’s not sure if he can handle her wild side.

But Lars is a hard man to resist. He still has a few sensual tricks up his sleeve. The people of his hometown of Wild, Alaska, know the best way to survive winter is to let off a little steam. Enter Wild Nights, a notorious winter festival with one rule—“anything goes, nothing counts.” When his three best buddies hit town for the occasion, Lars has the perfect opportunity to prove he’s the man for Katia.

Can one wildly erotic night convince her that marriage will be as fun as her sexually adventurous single days?

Reader Advisory: Features an extended ménage (M/F/M/M/M) and references to bondage experimentation and other sexual escapades.

Juniper Bell is a multi-published author and avid fan of romance novels, the steamier the better. She lives with her sweetie in a cabin in Alaska with no running water and a spectacular view of glaciers. She wound up in the frozen north after leaving her career as a stressed-out Los Angeles TV writer. Luckily, her love for writing survived the move. When she’s not writing, she’s spending time with her family, traveling, shoveling snow, and dreaming about the day she moves to Hawaii.

Lily's Review

The first thing I have to say about this book is “I did not want it to end”! It was great, a really gripping read with hot, complex characters and sex steamier than any sauna! Set in majestic Alaska I shivered at the luscious mid-winter descriptions and perspired over the sizzling naughty antics of the weather weary inhabitants who’ve become very inventive at filling those long dark winter months.

The hunky hero Lars is a winner, in every sense of the word, and you can’t help but root for him to win his ultimate prize, wild child Katia. But Katia has issues, issues which cleverly reveal themselves as the story unfolds.

I adored the way Ms Bell led up to the final scene, tempting and teasing the reader with the daring antics of Lars and Katia and building up the sexual tension to rocket levels. I found it impossible not to become totally invested in the outcome of the whole tale and desperately hoped everyone would get their happy ever after – that for me, is a sign of a really special book.

Verdict:
A sex soaked read which will leave you panting as it plunges you into the untamed heart of Alaska and gives a heady insight into the wild men – and women - who live there. If you enjoy contemporary erotic romantic with hot characters, a fun premise and all wrapped up in an amazing state, don’t miss Go Wild.

Sparks fly in the town of Wild, where Lars and Katia are celebrating the town’s annual “Wild Nights". Lars has asked Katia to marry him and she has not given him an answer yet. Katia doesn’t want to be held down by marriage; she’s scared to lose her freedom. Lars loves Katia with all his heart and will do anything to keep her with him. He has a plan and he hopes it will convince Katia that they are meant to be husband and wife.

Lars is a former Olympic champion who has come back to his hometown of Wild. He’s also the town hero. Lars is one of the most gorgeous and darling athletes I’ve ever read about. Lars is what made the story so wonderful with his wit and loving ways. Katia is quite complicated and her love for Lars is certainly something to envy.

I’m surprised this novella didn’t burst into flames as I flew through the pages. Each love scene was blistering and unique. The characters were conflicted about their future together and it made for a well rounded read.

I would recommend this book to someone looking for a scintillating novella. It will keep you reading long into the night.

Who would know there was so much hotness in Alaska? Wild Nights sounds like a very interesting concept, lol. Katia led a pretty wild life before she met Lars. Lars brought her to Alaska and proposed. She waffled. He finally realizes that she's afraid to settle down because she's always gotten bored in the past, regardless of how much she loves Lars right now. So he proves to her that she can still be wild and he'll still love her. And boy does he prove it. Wow. I'll never look at a sauna quite the same way again! There are four boys and one girl and m/m/m action, just as a warning to those who might be offended. Katia certainly wasn't!

I really liked this book. Lars is an Olympic winner who goes home as Hero of the town with his girlfriend Katia. They are so much in love. Lars proposes but Katia can't give him an answer because he doen't want to lose her freedom. Lars comes up with a hot plan to get her to understand he'd do anything for her and marriage would never get in the way of them having a good time. This book was soooo HOT!! If ya like menages and steamy reading then you have to read this book. Warning though there is anal play and a little M/M.

Go Wild is the first book I've read by Juniper Bell & it definitely won't be the last! The story was incredibly hot, sexy & erotic, but what makes it a must-read for me is the quality of the writing. The sex scenes are SIZZLING! The story is well-written, the main characters well-developed and the story kept me turning pages. I'll definitely be adding anything by Juniper Bell to my TBR list!
