This is the second boxset I’ve read from this author following the ‘Maybe’ boxset and this one just lost me. It was a very slow build and it took the entire first book to discover who the beast was. Although I didn’t mind the fall in love with a dangerous/killer man, this one just had too many head scratchers.
SPOILER ALERT - so here are a few moments that just lost me as a reader. How does your best friend assistant find out that you are falling for a killer and just say go for it? Who volunteers to go to jail to grab the attention of a guy? Who willing helps said killer kill not once but twice? And as for Reina, how do you go from being wanted by the FBI, to being a realtor in less than a year?
Although I don’t mind the escapism of reading a book that is not realistic, this one just felt like a Hallmark movie trying to be a Stephen King film. Completely missed the mark.

This series offers plenty of drama, twists, suspense, emotional tension, secrets and hot passion. As for the characters, Scarlett was hard for me to connect with but she did grow more likable to me over the course of the series. Nacio was a dark, dangerous character. He was someone you loved to hate but you could not deny his appeal. A very intense series that will keep you engaged and on edge. This is my honest, voluntary review.

This is a well written box set that will give you hours of reading pleasure. I read each of these books as they came out and loved them all. It's a hot and steamy read that had me glued to the pages. I loved the characters and mystery in these books and it's great to be able to read them back to back. I enjoyed and would recommend this set.

I read each of the books in this boxset and loved how well the characters were developed and engaging and the storyline flowed smoothly and kept my attention throughout the series.

Nacio And Scarlett’s Trilogy Concludes In An Emotional And Dangerous Battle As Nacio Fights For Scarlett’s Love!
This is the third book in the Definitely trilogy, which is the second part of the six part Maybe, Definitely series. It isn’t necessary but it is strongly recommended that readers begin with the Maybe trilogy, as the characters featured in the Definitely trilogy are first introduced there. The backstories provide greater depth and the mystery in this trilogy draws upon knowledge of the first trilogy.
From the Maybe trilogy:
The Maybe trilogy is Kinsley and Killian’s story. Kinsley Elizabeth Felton, twenty-one, returned home to Las Vegas for her father’s funeral at the tail end of her senior year at Yale. Her father and grandfather owned a successful family business that included several casinos. She had known for years what was expected of her. She was to eventually marry a man of her father’s choosing that would one day take over the family business.
Killian Byrne, thirty, was VP of Operations at Felton Corporation and being considered for the CEO position. With a business degree from Harvard and some law school under his belt, he was recruited to Felton Corporation five years earlier. He formed a deep bond with Kinsley's father, Robert. Three years ago, he was informed about a plan for him to marry Kinsley and become CEO. Because of her age, he did not approach Kinsley.
The plan got turned upside down when Kinsley's father died of a heart attack suddenly, and Kinsley learned that the timetable had shifted and a marriage would take place in six months. She had always done as told, but said she can't do this. Even if his considerable appeal did tempt her to agree, Killian didn't want to marry her unless forced to for the CEO position. Killian and Kinsley are attracted to one another, but there are many lies and expectations that hinder their ability to form an honest and true bond. In their final book, the ugly truths are all exposed. Kinsley works to right the wrongs of her family by taking down a tracking ring, and Killian works to save her.

Her deep love for her best friend Kinsley had moved him. He tried to get away, but when she called out his name and wanted to go with him he couldn’t turn her away. But he wouldn’t let her stay because he is a monster. A killer. Incapable of the love she deserves.
Scarlett Bell is devastated when Nacio leaves her and disappears without a trace. She had only just found him, and their connection is too strong to ignore. It doesn’t matter that he is a killer. She knows that there is a man that loves her underneath the darkness that consumes him. She is determined to learn all she can, to show him that she loves him in spite of what he does. To show him he is worthy of her love.
In Nacio and Scarlett’s second book, Nacio tries to push Scarlett away. He is convinced that they have no future. But Scarlett is persistent. She meets his family with the hopes of understanding him better. Reina, his sister, runs the family. Her orders are expected to be obeyed. Santino, his younger and more talkative brother, flirts shamelessly. But as Scarlett gets to see Nacio in his element, and learns of the evil he has done, her love for him is put to the test. I rate this book four stars.
From Definitely Forever:
Scarlett had left Chicago and Nacio behind after Reina had told her that he had lied and tested her with their last job. She also shared the part about how Nacio had abused her when they were children, and his guilt is the reason he will always do what Reina asks of him now.
Scarlett returned home and immersed herself in her work, then in her friendship with Kinsley, and finally in desperation returned to her one night stands briefly, all the while hoping that Nacio would reach out and assure her of his love for her. But when he arrives six months later begging for another chance, it is already too late because Scarlett is pregnant, and he is not the father.
But Nacio is ready to take a stand for Scarlett, stepping away from his job. He doesn’t shy away because he isn’t the father of the baby. Instead, he commits himself to becoming Scarlett’s protector, even if she never takes him back. She gives mixed signals even as she tells him they can never be together because of her baby. She says he is too dangerous.
As Nacio and Scarlett dance around their feelings, the deadline for the hit on Kinsley approaches. Reina sends Santino to convince Nacio to take the job – their family reputation is at stake. Moreover, the new developments have given Reina reason to believe even more action is called for. Between Reina and pressure from the FBI, things get dangerous quickly.
Nacio and Scarlett’s final story ties together all the loose ends from book two as Nacio fights for Scarlett’s love. Scarlett’s condition and the danger they face help to bring Nacio’s feelings to the surface, and he does eventually become capable of a more normal life. Once Kinsley learns that Scarlett is in love with Nacio, though, Scarlett knows that she will have to choose between her friend and the love of her life. In the end, however, Nacio and Scarlett’s story is about family and forgiveness. It is about sacrifice. And it is about moving forward and creating new ties. Nacio and Scarlett, along with Killian and Kinsley, get a beautiful HEA.

Three book series bundled together. Scarlett gets a text message and has a steamy encounter with a stranger. She has everything she wants except love, marriage and a baby. Who will she choose to give her those things her safe ex-boyfriend or a stranger that may ruin her? Fast-paced read with plenty of twists and turns, great characters and plenty of steam. I liked it.

Having just jumped into this series in this book, the storyline as I understand now shifts to thirty-two-year-old/ex-model Scarlett “Scar” Bell, successful owner of a fashion and beauty company. The last ten years have been all dedicated to business, and with her best friend now married and settled, Scar now feels she is lacking something. But her immediate goal that night was to find someone who could give her a night to remember. And it does, coming in the form of a mysterious text from an even more mysterious man she nicknames “Beast.” Suddenly, Scar is dealing with an ex-boyfriend, Jake, whom she hires to be a financial advisor, though he is pushing for much more than that. Now, Scar is so very torn between Sexy Beast and Safe Jake.
Beast finds himself compromising much to be with Scar, yet still goes after her, knowing that just once was not going to be enough. Scar is getting mired in what she imagines she could have with Jake, and wants that projected life with him, but realizes she deserves so much more than what he can give her. Very much looking forward to reading what comes next for them both!

If your just not reading reviews to see if this is something you'd be interested in, let me recommend that you start at the beginning with "Maybe Yes". Although you can start here and follow Scarlett's story, there are important pieces of the puzzle you will miss by doing so. This is one suspenseful, emotional ride. This is so worth stalking an author over.
2 - DEFINITELY NO
OMG!! I started this book with such staunch opinions of the characters. Who I thought was right, who I thought was wrong, and who I thought was certifiably insane. You'll just have to read it to follow that line of thought. And then BAM, out of nowhere, there it was. It was like the characters were playing musical chairs with their personalities and truly I want to cry for Beast, I understand Beauty's reaction and her actions, which makes the knot in my throat all the bigger. I have every faith it will work out in the end, but good grief, the emotional rollercoaster this story is taking us on, with more to come I'm sure, is so twisted and enthralling I can't help but go along for the ride.
3 - DEFINITELY FOREVER
Where do I begin with this? I can't leave a spoiler because I'm sure you're like me. You waited all this time to find out what happens and you want to read every delicious word for yourself. Feel every emotion; all the love, fear, worry, happiness, excitement and devastation. Ella Miles has delivered all that and more with this book. Her characters had me in tears in the first chapter and periodically continued throughout the entire book. I'll leave it to you whether they were happy or sad tears when you get to those parts. Just have tissue available.
I loved this series and this final book, "Definitely Forever" was the icing on a delicious cake I've been savoring since the beginning. Congratulations Ella on your 5 star review for this boxset and an award winning achievement with the series.

It was like the characters were playing musical chairs with their personalities and truly I want to cry for Beast, I understand Beauty's reaction and her actions, which makes the knot in my throat all the bigger. I have every faith it will work out in the end, but good grief, the emotional rollercoaster this story is taking us on, with more to come I'm sure, is so twisted and enthralling I can't help but go along for the ride.
3 - DEFINITELY FOREVER
Where do I begin with this? I can't leave a spoiler because I'm sure you're like me. You waited all this time to find out what happens and you want to read every delicious word for yourself. Feel every emotion; all the love, fear, worry, happiness, excitement and devastation. Ella Miles has delivered all that and more with this book. Her characters had me in tears in the first chapter and periodically continued throughout the entire book. I'll leave it to you whether they were happy or sad tears when you get to those parts. Just have tissue available.
I loved this series and this final book, "Definitely Forever" was the icing on a delicious cake I've been savoring since the beginning. Congratulations Ella on your 5 star review for this boxset and an award winning achievement with the series.

Holy hellfire. I don’t even know where to begin with this book. I thought the Maybe series took us to some dark and twisted places, but this story doubles those twists back on themselves to keep us guessing as to what’s really going on. And possibly the most frustrating thing for me is that I can’t even explain the emotional turmoil Scarlett’s story has put me through without giving away potential spoilers for the most dramatic parts of the story.

Dark and twisted beauty and the beast
Definitely: The Complete Series by Ella Miles is three books of a non-stop tennis volley. Beast and Scarlett, his Beauty, go back and forth keeping the reader riveted and turning pages. I really enjoyed this story for so many reasons. First are her characters. They are just wonderfully developed and easy to like even when you're not sure they deserve it! But, they are written and portrayed with such emotional depth, protectiveness, love and care, one can't help but hope for their happy ending.
I also enjoyed this complete series as Books 1 and 2 end in cliff hangers and this reader is so impatient! I loved being able to continue Scarlett and Beast's story without pause.
Overall, an excellent dark romance that hit many of my favorite elements such as suspense, mystery, steamy, alpha protector and strong women. Ella Miles does a fantastic job of hooking her reader from the first and keeping things moving, changing, twisting, evolving and revealing bit and pieces a little at a time that absolutely captivates until the very end with the HEA. In this case, Beauty and her Beast truly get the best of both of their worlds for their perfect HEA.

Scarlett is successful business woman, but as her best friend’s pregnancy progresses, she is feeling a desperation to find her own soulmate and begin a family of her own. She is known for her one-night-stands but her search for that special connection just never materializes. Then a mysterious man begins to come visit her in her dark home, in the restaurant bathroom with lights off and door locked, and she feels like he may be the man of her dreams. Their physical relationship is beyond steamy. However, Scarlett doesn’t know who he is or what he looks like. She doesn’t know how to find him but he can always find her.
When Scarlett finally uncovers the truth about her mysterious stranger, it seems that she already knows him and he is as dark and dangerous as they come. He has been assigned a job to kill someone very close to her. This story is about the two learning to trust through their love and learn to accept who each person is, regardless of what they do. Very good series
Excellent series, very well written and quite atypical in the unfolding, with excellent characters. But, because of the suspense of this trilogy, multiple twists, it is difficult to talk about it without spoiling.
I loved the characters of Beast and Scarlett who are strong, mysterious and powerful at the same time.
Scarlett is 32 years old and she starts to get tired of wanting only one-night stand like she did before. However against her own logic and security, she decides to accept a blind meeting with a stranger. The experience is both scary and very hot and arousing for her to the point of hesitating to revisit this dangerous stranger who give her adrenaline rush, or return with an old love to build a quiet life.
But beyond this departure that could look like other steamy romances, the evolution of the characters, their links with their past, the killers who are around them, the story is exciting.
It's amazing from beginning to the end, with secrets revealed all along the story, that constantly question what you think you'd known.

I loved this complete Boxed Set as I detest cliffys! Much appreciation to this talented author for providing the complete story of Scarlett and Nacio as a spin-off and continuation of Killian and Kinsley’s romance.
This well written, dark and compelling storyline had many emotional ups and downs as Nacio’s beast is truly horrifying in the ways his thirst for violence and brutality is ingrained into his DNA.
This anti-hero of sorts crossed the line again and again but always softened when it came to Scarlett and his love for her. Lots of self hatred, angst, and guilt for not being good enough for her, and lots of boneheaded decisions that push Scarlett away again and again. Seemed like their timing was always off.
Full of raw gritty themes that were surprisingly acceptable to Scarlett at the end. I’m not sure how the author managed to tie everything up at the end despite the projected dark painful buildup and climax.

Oh my goodness! I thoroughly enjoyed this series which was a continuation of the Maybe series. This series is about Scarlett Bell who is best friends with Kinsley Felton, who's story started in the Maybe series. Scarlett is torn between a dangerous life filled with hot sex that she can not control and might never get again with the beast who is Nacio or with Jake a nice man, albeit a little boring, who could give her the kids and a happily ever after. The depth and twists to this tale are outstanding The storyline is captivating and true engaging and intriguing to the point that I had a hard time putting this book down until the end. Ella Miles has this knack for making all the dirty and sexy scenes burn up the pages that will make you wet along with her characters. Get ready for a heart-stopping journey as Scarlett is pulled in different directions while still tring to be loyal to her best friend.

You have to read the Maybe series first! Scarlet is a beautiful successful woman who likes to live on the wild side. She runs a successful business with the help of her wonderful assistant Preston. When she starts receiving an anonymous texts from a potential lover it’s the excitement she’s been craving. But he can stay anonymous for so long. Nacio is a bad man and she she shouldn’t want him after what he did to her best friend but sometimes you can’t help what the heart wants. These thre books are amazing. I cried so much in the first book. The second is exhilarating! The third one is outstanding and I loved how it ended. This author is one of my favorites because she writes so flawlessly and has a fantastic way of keeping the characters real. Loved this series!

Definitely :The Complete Series. This is a fantastic suspense romance story. It captured my heart. Scarlett, CEO of her own fashion company, goes on a crazy journey that takes her through what you might consider hell and then back to a fairy tale ending. Scarlett aka Beauty meets the Beast, Nacio in such a strange way that was intriguing. But the Beast captures her heart and even though he keeps telling her he is a monster, she can't erase him from her heart. So she tries to help him through his evil ways in hopes that he will change. This series has Author's taste in the whole story, suspense, love, mystery, erotic chemistry, everything Ella's readers need from her. Every part, every scene of the story is brilliantly written & the plot, the pace of the story was absolutely amazing.
The series is absolutely beautiful and I would like to recommend this series to every romance book lover with a mystery & suspense in it.

Oh, no maybes about it, Definitely was DEFINITELY screaming HOT! I just loved both main characters so much! Scarlett (h) was so bold and nervy to do some of the things she did, and Beast (H) was so dang hot, and so into her. The things those two did had my head spinning, whether it was the steamy stuff or the scary stuff! She should have known from the start how important he was going to become to her, but...! I had tears streaming, reading all the sad, horrible things that had been done to him in his childhood. Also, I did not see the BIG twists Ella had built into this story, so I was shocked more than a couple times. This was a great series. Is it possible for Ella to revisit them in the future sometime so we can see how they're doing?? I hope so. Five big stars!!

This book set is one you must Definitely purchased. It is three book which must be read in order.
It tells the dark, decadent rollercoaster of a ride Scarlett answers a text and has a mysterious and hot hook up with the stranger that she never sees. She tries to move on with what should be the right guy but can’t forget her beast.
When she reunites with Nacio the mystery, suspense, connections and steam are off the charts. This series will keep you on your kindle long into the night. Such a complex and well written story.

This is a review for the audio version, with narrators Lacy Laurel and Connor Crais.
It was almost a DNF, but, Connor Crais.
I can tell the author didn’t write this with audio in mind. The way she structured sentences and never used contractions made a lot of the dialogue awkward. Lacy Laurel is a new to me narrator, and I truly did not enjoy her performance. It felt like she was reading for a read a loud, not telling a story.
But- Connor Crais was fantastic.
The story was ok. A little too far fetched. Many characters annoyed me. Definitely sexy.
Honestly if I didn’t spend money on it, I probably would have given up 3 hours in.

This book comes from the same world as the Maybe boxset but set 10 years later. We see Scarlet doing 1 night stands although she starts to want marriage. After the steamiest, most unforgettable one-night stand from a stranger who had texted her, they start to meet each other and text each other for sex.
Firstly, who goes to a hotel based on a text asking for sex, no matter how mysterious or sexy the text seems? Secondly, I just didn't quite care for how immature Scarlet seems despite her age. Nacio just didn't convince me about him being a good fit either, especially after the last book. It was a bit too unrealistic for my taste.

Another great Series
I could already tell the difference between Kinsley and Scarlett. Total opposites but they complete each other kind of relationship. I am also another reader who didnt think i would have liked Scarlett's story either. The whole suspense behind her Beast and the not man enough relationship with Jake almost had me not want to finish this series...but boy am I glad I did. Scarlett definitely ended up with the right man (which I'm so happy for). She was too strong and independent for Jake. Anyways...I love Ella Miles books! Cant wait for the next series!
