Procrastination means avoidance of a particular task that should be accomplished. It is a practice of replacing annoying things with pleasurable activities or carrying out less urgent task instead of focusing on important ones. You may put off impending tasks for a later time. Procrastination will affect your deadlines because you may feel lazy to complete a task on its designated time.
It may take hold of different aspects of your life, such as putting off stove cleaning and repair of a roof leakage, ignoring your appointment with a dentist or doctor, delay submission of a job report, and delaying your academic assignment. Procrastination may lead you to feelings of inadequacy, depression, self-doubt and guilt.
It may endanger you of having a bad reputation at work or even with your family and friends. You will become habitual to delay your tasks and this habit can be dangerous for your career. You will not be able to satisfy your dreams and ambitions. You will start feeling that I am unable to accomplish anything.
Procrastination may kill your productivity; hence, you should consider some ways to avoid it. Fortunately, you can successfully overcome procrastination with the help of “Overcome Procrastination: Overcome Your Fear, Procrastination and Increase Your Motivation”.
