This is the third installment of The Betrayed Series. It cannot be read as a stand alone and I highly recommend that you read Betrayed By Blood ( The Betrayed Series #1) and Bound By Blood ( The Betrayed Series #2).
Victoria really outdid herself in this third installment of The Betrayed Series. It had the perfect mix of suspense and action to keep me hooked. I didn't want to put it down once I started. It is about Kylee and Alex; their continuation. Alex is the strong, dominant male alpha that has a soft side for the men in his unit as well as Kylee.
Kylee finds her true inner strength in this story, but not without many twists and turns along the way. Will her biggest fear of turning to the dark side as her mother had consume her? Or will she find her way out from under her mother's legacy and live a normal life that she so badly wants? Highly recommended series overall. Add all three to your TBR list today. You will not be disappointed!

I loved this book and series. I really liked how Victoria picked up right where she left off at. This book will have you thinking if you could handle a situation like what Kylee and Alex went thru. **This is NOT a standalone**

Kylee Parker has been put through the ringer by her mother, and now that she's reunited with the only man she's ever loved, she finds that she must go back to the hell that she survived, in order to rescue others. Although she finds herself becoming strong in the power struggle, she''s also feeling like darkness is taking over, and she's not sure she'll ever come back from it. Alexander Grant has always been on one path, to serve his country, and he's kept his life distraction free for the most part, in order to become a leader in an elite unit. Everything changed when he met his Goddess. then rescued from her mother's torture, but since she left him to go back into that world, he's about to snap. Will Kylee be able to survive the evil world of her mother's family with her sanity intact, or will the darkness take her over?!
It would be remiss of me not to state for the record that this is the third book in The Betrayed Series, so if you haven't guessed yet, YOU MUST READ 1 & 2 FIRST! Okay, now that I got that out of my system, I'll move along to my dramatic girly girl emotions, and fan girl gushing. I have not been patient waiting for Royal Blood, written by one of my favorite diabolical #EVILWHORES, as I'm fully addicted to this EPIC series, and FINALLY it's here! And while I don't want to encourage taking a long time (in my mind anyway) for the next book in an exciting series, I have to say, it was ALMOST worth the wait! (Patience is not a virtue of mine.) Victoria Renteria's absolutely brilliant writing style hooked me completely back in Betrayed By Blood, not to mention almost KILLING ME in Bound By Blood, and I say without a shadow of a doubt that I'll NEVER get enough! Her diabolical twists and turns kept the f-bomb dropping parade, loud and proud, during the whole story, and actually, they are still dropping here and there. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Kylee and Alex, not to mention the colorful cast of secondaries that gave me breaks of comedy in between the intense moments, and FIERY FLAMES of sexy scene goodness rolled through at various places to make sure no pair of panties were safe. I LOVE this author, and while I'm sad that Alex and Kylee's story is complete, I cannot help but to say WHAT A PERFECT ENDING to an EPICALLY EXPLOSIVE series, which I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

what a great novel, It emediately hooks you into the action and what is going on with the characters. No crazy boring back story, this author adds all the back history throughout the novel and I just love that. Because it hooks you right away to where you just cant put this book down after starting it.
This crazy mafia family that Kylee was born into is just full of the most vicious malevolent evil people, her mother being the worst. The only one in that family I do like is Taejo her loving encouraging uncle.
Alex oh what can you say about sweet loving alex, he would do anything for Kylee. In fact he does, he goes and risks everything and everyone in his life leaving everything behind to protect her. I just love his character, he is amazing strong and dominating yet sweet and carin. His inner beast comes out and all I could think is damn thats sexy. hahaha.
This isnt just some cheesy love story full of sex. No definitely not in fact the love sex part takes an undertone to the military against the korean mafia storyline throughout the entire book. Keeps u interested and wanting to read more.
Definitely a must read for anybody into spy or mystery novels and even for the hopeless romantic and erotica reader as well.
I want to definitely look for more books from this amazing author she is a treasure.

Kylee Parker has just heard that her mother is dying. This gives her a major problem because although she hates her, she has a responsibility to protect the women who work for her mother. Her mother is the head of a Korean crime family. Going back there and assuming the necessary character is mentally dangerous.
Alexander Grant cannot believe Kylee is leaving him to return to the people who tortured her. He is a Navy SEAL and cannot follow her. She is ripping his heart out.
This is part of a series that is probably better read in order. I have only read this one but thoroughly enjoyed it. It is non stop action. Lots of very vicious fights and some smoking hot sex. I cried like a baby several times. I will be looking for much more from this new to me author. I loved it.
