Moe angels and demons are still being cute and silly. This volume has another obligatory passage: Christmas and New Year celebrations! And then it's back (not wanting to go) to school and finally a new angel comes to bumble around.
Gabriel is still my favourite and the chapter where she finds it hard to get up from the bed in the morning is relatable to most of the people. Although it's not particularly original or exciting situation, it's cute and funny in the same way as watching cats being cats is. My other favourite chapter was Vigne trying to be more evil. New character Tapris is victim of Raph's trick to get her and Satania spar off each other for her amusement. It's okay segment but gets old fast.
Characters look nice, and loose story with emphasis on chapter-length situations is a quick read. Satania is too annoying sometimes but Gabi and Vigne balance out every less fun the other characters. This is not a groundbreaking manga but nice entertainment when you need some harmless fluffy fun in your life.
... does this seem to be getting further & further anti-Christian? Seems like the author has some insecurities in regards to the Lord. Whatever. We all have our crosses to bear, I suppose. Not really all that into this manga. Just isn't really catching my attention. However, I bought the whole series, so I'm gonna stick it out. I don't feel right, trying to return 8 books at once. I'm not a Wally-world tweaker! Art, decent. Dialogue, fairly ok, a little forced at times. Characters, very unbelievable, when looking at who they're supposed to be.
This manga series is always a pleasure to read. The art is well done and captures the humour perfectly. The stories are always short and cute, each presenting a situation and how the girls deal with it. The cast of characters are entertaining, each with their own character traits and development, and are the perfect foils for each other.
All in all, I really like this series, and will continue to purchase them.
