The Wycliffe File

Rate this book
Based on the books by Cornish author W.J. Burley, HTV's detective series 'Wycliffe' is filmed entirely on location in Cornwall. From storm whipped cliffs and eerie, disused tin mines to peaceful stretches of golden sands, the spectacular Cornish landscape provides a breath taking backdrop to a series of intriguing and sometimes brutal murder mysteries, all of which tax the powers of the enigmatic Det. Supt. Charles Wycliffe.
The Wycliffe File tells the story behind the top-rated drama, including exclusive interviews with the stars, the creators and the production team, case reconstructions, a fully illustrated episode guide and features on the Cornish locations.

A nice look at the making of the early years of the TV series. The final section of the book is essentially an episode guide for the first series that starts off with a detailed recap of the first two episodes but these become briefer as the episodes progress (to fit a word count).
The photo selection is great although the lack of a detailed look at the pilot episode is disappointing.
