Not sure why the author added fish to the " No -No List" Sugar is also on it but is in a few of the recipes. I canned my bichon Lily fresh caught canned salmon for years and she lived a very long life even after we rescued her from a very awful situation at the age of 4 she went on to live until she was 13 years old. I think alot it was due to the salmon she enjoyed ( and trout) I still gave this book three stars because of the quotes and it made me feel good about some of the dinners I've made even though I'm sure they aren't the best. If you are looking for a simple book on giving your dog treats every now and then this might be for you but it's not one for those looking to cook healthy homemade meals every night. .. maybe just for dipping your paws into.
